“I worked with Affordable Interior Design to decorate my living room, dining room, master bedroom, home office and patio. I would HIGHLY recommend them! Anita Magyar (their Westchester designer) is an incredible designer. She is very thorough, responsive, decisive - really worked with me to understand my design sense (even when I wasn't quite sure how to describe it). I loved everything she came back with! She was also flexible to make some tweaks when I wanted to look at another option for my decor. My home turned out beautifully and Anita saved me a ton of time in the process! She helped me pick out unique options which I would not have been able to come up with on my own and I am so happy with the results! She also really worked with my budget and picked out a mix of reasonable vs. high end options. I plan on working with her again for some home accessories in the near future and other areas in my home. Love, love, love Anita and would highly recommend working with her...P.S. I don't usually write reviews, but I had such a positive experience that I am hoping to help others who might be in the same boat struggling with decorating and hoping to find a high quality, yet affordable decorator. “I have Used Tiger twice and both times have been amazing. The team is fast, efficient and they do great work. We had two separate projects. First project was replacing the roof under a deck. They were able to save our deck and put it back together all in one piece after.The second project was a big project. They added French drains and a subpump in our basement. We kept getting flooding. Since the repair our basement has never been more dry. Best investment we have ever made,They are reliable, and their Costs are fair.As much as home repair is a pain and a strain on your wallet, I cannot recommend them enough! “Will absolutely use Mr. Handyman again, and would recommend them to anyone else who needs some help with projects around the house. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating- even fitting me in for an earlier appointment when there was a cancellation and my timeline got changed for when I needed the project done. They installed a small railing going down into my garage, as well as finishing off a too-short step down. Jan was fantastic, and the stairway not only looks nicer now but is much safer to walk on.“

Omar was a true professional throughout the entire project. He was clear and precise with his responses, showed up on time, was professional with his installation and cleanup, and generally very efficient. I highly recommend Omar's services.“
“I was hired to help prepare a 100 year old townhouse for sale. It had been vacant for two to three years and needed some sprucing up. Never having owned a home, but being a life long NYC apartment dweller, I was nervous about the process of finding the right people to do everything that needed doing. Thank goodness I found NYC Brownstone first. Jack and Justin and their team are experts, honest, professional and responsive. Jack met with me and went over the entire 7 floors and we talked about what it made sense to do and what it did not. There was a leak over the door to the patio on the 2nd floor that turned out to be a big deal and was coming from the patio on the 3rd floor. The ceiling had to be ripped out and the patio pavers on the third floor had to be ripped out. Jack saved us $12K by suggeesting we not re-pave the patio, just leave the waterproof membrane once it was down since it looked good and the new owners would no doubt want to re-do it to their taste. Their crew was there for over three weeks and I got an email every evening with a report on who had been there and what had been accomplished. The work site was spotless, floors and woodwork were meticulously protected, everything was cleaned up every night. Six months later, when the place was finally staged, we discovered mold on a wall. I called NYC Brownstone and they were there the next day. Well, that turned into a leaking waste pipe buried in a brick wall. Once again, Jack and Justin and the team are as responsive, professional and organized as before. If I ever win the lottery and buy a brownstone, the first thing I will do is sign a maintenance contract with NYC Brownstone.“
