“My husband found Syosset Animal Hospital from an online Google search. Our goldendoodle puppy, Charlie, has been going since he was 8 weeks old. Dr. Gothelf has been with me every step of the way as Charlie is my first dog. He is very thorough, attentive, and honest with his recommendations. He doesn't charge for every little thing and is really nice/friendly when handling Charlie. Charlie actually likes going to the vet and doesn't want to leave! Dr. Gothelf performed Charlie's neuter and dewclaw surgery. Charlie came home with a cone and his hind legs were bandaged up. He didn't have any complications or infections post-surgery and recovered within a week and a half. Syosset Animal Hospital also had a Halloween event and we were able to bring Charlie in his pirate costume to get a bag filled with treats and a toy. It was his first time trick-o-treating and he still plays with his toy! Overall, Syosset Animal Hospital is a great place to bring your pet for preventatives, surgery, or Halloween!“

“I have nothing but great things to say about East Meadow Vet Center. Dr. Olcha is professional, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The office is clean and the staff are welcoming and friendly.We took our dog here for the first time after our prior vet was dismissive of our concerns. When we told Dr. Olcha what was happening with our dog, he suggested blood work (which we did) and told us he’d give us a call on Monday with the results. “I love this place,my only complaint is when I get to the front desk on our last visit,my heart dropped when I the receptionist said $320 and that is with insurance and discount.My fur baby had a slight infection in his 1 ear,I got about 6 tablets and a small bottle of thing to squeeze into his ear.Please tell us the price before..“

“As a local veterinarian, I can tell you that Dr. Blauvelt sincerely cares about his patients and does his best to provide the best care possible, for both the patient and the owner. He is a warm, caring veterinarian who goes above and beyond for his clients. When you see reviews that he is in it for the $ - these people are sorely mistaken. Vet care is expensive. Overhead is extremely costly for vet practices. Dr. Blauvelt doesn't charge more than other practices in the area, in fact his costs are quite reasonable. Have you ever seen explanations of benefits from insurance companies? Medical care is super expensive, but people do not realize because of health insurance. Dr. Blauvelt is wonderful and your pet would be lucky to have him as their vet.“

“I have been to this pet clinic several times and they have always been kind and caring to Stella. The assistant Jenny was very nice and came to pick her up at my car for her appointment and kept me informed as to what was going on. The Vet was very professional and will ask many questions about how you're pet is doing at home and will give advice on the best ways to keep you're pet healthy. The prices to treat the dog are reasonable and they will always let you know what a service costs before they do it. Thanks for everything!“

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at this location; they are warm, loving, and provide excellent care for my dog. Following a sick visit, they always reach out to check on my dog and see how she's doing. Plus, they offer advice for at-home care in lieu of a visit whenever possible. They are kind, clear, responsive, and so helpful. My dog loves to hang out with them, whether not feeling well, getting vaccinated, or getting a checkup. “I took my cats to this vet hospital for many years and found the staff to be very competent and caring. It is often difficult to find a good vet for one's beloved pets and this medical facility was the only place I would go when I lived on Long Island. Dr. McCormack, in particular, is a very good doctor and an all around nice person. The vet technicians are also very helpful and kind. The front desk personnel are also very kind and interested in the pets and the pets' families. I miss living on Long Island for many reasons, but not havaing Harborside to turn to when my cats are not well is one of the biggest concerns I have now. I would recommend this place and often do!!“

“We recently brought our feral cat because we suspected a massive eye infection and dental infection. About an hour later, Dr. Kolbert called to inform us that it appears Mama had a massive tumor and there was extensive damage to her gums and jaw, as well as the eye. I asked if he would wait for us to travel back from Queens so we could be with her when she was put down - Mama was our feral for over 12 years and a part of our family. He kindly waited and explained everything to my husband and me when we arrived. His staff was very kind and offered condolences. I am happy that I took Mama to a place that did not treat her like a feral that didn't matter. She did matter, and I appreciated that. Also, Dr. Kolbert could've done all the procedures and charged us before telling us of her grave condition.
