“After years of searching for a decent Barber, I found Albert’s shop and have been hooked. The shop is small, clean, bright, and efficient. I have only ever had Albert cut my hair. He is incredibly friendly and calm and we have had some nice conversations. Even though I only come 3-4 times a year, (I only cut every 3 months or so) I am still remembered. Fair prices and friendly staff. Definitely worth setting up an appointment here.“

“The salon is the first class operation in every respect. They have traffic in here all the time and they cut hair for men. It's a very upbeat place to be in and they offer you coffee and chocolate delights out the wazoo. They're very professional, kind and considerate. I will say they are expensive but that's a salon for you. They have very clean bathrooms and a charming staff. There's adequate street parking with meters. You can either enter from the front or from the rear. It certainly worth a trip if you're looking for a new beautician, hair coloring, or even your nails. It's an accommodating place.“

“Igor and John are the two barbers here currently and both have a well deserved huge loyal following. Luckily not too huge as I still just walk in when I find 45 -60 minutes in my busy life to see Igor and usually get right in his chair. I am in my 50's and I've lived in a lot of places. Had a lot of barbers though mostly hair stylists for my very curly hair which needs an experienced cutter. Not just saying this cause I like him as a friend, Igor really is the best hair cutter or stylist I ever had. He has been doing it for some 25 years and used to have a shop on Lexington, Upper East side where he still has customers coming up from to see him. I have been using him exclusively for three years. John is also spoken of as the best in what he does which are more fades and buzz cuts. I can better speak for Igor who may cut quickly yet so careful and precise. It takes Igor some 30-45 minutes to do my hair every three weeks. He takes so much pride in his work, even if someone is waiting, he never rushes or does less than the same awesome long job. Like a proud artist, he will not accept anything but perfection. Not sure what or how he does that takes so much longer than the at most 25 minutes anyone else ever did. He cuts faster than anyone I ever had too. But he does talk a lot about being precise and how he trains the waves to get the cut a little better each time. I can afford to and have mostly gone to expensive stylists my whole life. Igor is way better and way cheaper. City Cuts, sometimes things are not too good to be true.“
