“Dr. Sofos is by FAR the most legitimate chiropractor I've experienced. For 2.5 years I searched for a chiropractor from Westchester to Manhattan following my car accident in 2020. Every single one came off as a car salesman more invested in milking me for all my money than improving my health. I experienced shocking tactics from these \\\"chiropractors\\\" from free visits in exchange for 5 star reviews, to locking me into a payment plan for the next year of care (regardless of if I would respond to treatment), to charging me $300 for an xray before they would adjust me just to adjust me anyway after I refused. I never experienced this with Dr. Sofos. It actually felt MEDICAL as opposed to sales-y. From the moment we met, he was professional and personable. He did an initial examination of my back, sent me for muscle stimulation and heat therapy before adjusting my back, talking through specific nerves and areas of my back with visual aid, and then teaching and assigning me stretches to do for my specific pain. I left feeling like my wellness was the goal. Very excited to be a patient here, excited for the future of my healing, and for once, will be a returning patient to a chiropractic office! “I have been going to a chiropractor for over 10 years to help with my scoliosis and with every pregnancy continued my care. I have never experienced what I have experienced with Dr. Tony and his team. The minute you enter the office it’s such a welcoming environment. All of these years I’ve always had pain but within one month of consistently going to this office I have been getting better and better. My husband led me to Dr. Tony and that has been the best decision of my life. I had lost the feeling in my right leg and couldn’t walk. “Dr. Jacobs is professional, personable and understanding. I came to her office with extreme back and neck pains, I walked out in a lot less pain and feeling optimistic about my pains issues. Long story short I am now able to walk on the treadmill for over 30 minutes without pain, I am able to bend down to tie my shoes. I am able to perform basic household chores without stopping and taking pills that will make you sleepy or unmotivated. I have stop popping painkillers, she has changed my life. Her staff is friendly, attentive and kind. I have been to chiropractors before, however Dr. Jacobs listens to her patients in order to make a difference in their physical health. Besides being able to adjust you, and I'm not a small guy, he tells you what will ultimately make you feel better - stretches, strength work, working on posture, etc. Unlike any other chiropractor I've ever seen, he legitimately wants you to get to the point where you don't need to see him that often. He truly wants to help you instead of keeping you on the dole. He's gotten me thinking about health, taking care of myself better and now I go in for a 'tune up' every once in a while.
