My puggle Layla is very nervous & skeptical but Julie took her time to let Layla roam around the salon before her appointment to warm up, and I didn't feel rushed when dropping her off. Julie's dog comes to work with her and she's a doll too! At other salons, I've picked up my dog after the appointment and she's visibly distressed for the rest of the day. Julie called me to let me know Layla was close to being done and when I arrived, Layla was hanging out behind the desk, comfortable behind a playpen gate (but not in a kennel) next to Julie while Julie was working on her next dog client. Layla was happy and has never looked better! Julie books pretty far out, but if you make your next appointment when checking out, you'll have no issues. we can't wait to visit again!“

“So PLEASED! In February, our dogs Duckie and Clyde stayed at Ludworth Kennels for a few days. When we picked up our dogs, they were all smiles and smelled good. We could tell, that they had a good time. In the past, they have left other kennels terrified and stinking, but NOT when they stayed at Ludworth. “We have been to Pooch Parlor twice now and will never go to another groomer!! Prior to our wedding we decided we did not want to take on the task of grooming our dog (which we usually do). We booked a last minute appointment for the day before our wedding and hoped for the best. We told them just a simply shape up and make him look fresh and clean! We also let them know he is dog selective and best not to be groomed near other dogs since it was his first grooming and we weren't sure if he'd be stressed or anxious. We came back a few hours after dropping him off and he looks stunning!! He was so happy and the groomers said how well behaved he was. “The mix of high+low reviews here is perplexing, but I can only speak to my own experience. I am so grateful that I found ​the Animal Health Center/Vet Village​ -- they gave us extraordinary care. My dog was in​ acute distress and I had seen 3 vets within a week​, including a world renowned ER in Manhattan. All of them could tell me that something was wrong, but were not able to diagnose. All referred me out for further testing at providers that didn't have availability for months​. Eventually I found the Animal Health Center/Vet Village. Dr. Haroush quickly assessed my dog, got him in for tests immediately, and within hours was able to consult with a neurologist, run tests, and provide a full diagnosis. He kept in touch day by day about progress, options, and financial implications. The vet tech and admin staff were kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. Dr. Haroush definitely has alpha surgeon energy, and is laser-focused on animal welfare, and less on sugarcoating things for the pet parent. I can understand if this style doesn't click for everyone. But I trusted his expertise and actually found him to be very compassionate. I see many comments here that say this clinic is expensive. It is, but so is vet care everywhere (again, in my experience. And we may have many factors to blame for that:​ I had already paid an incredible amount at other clinics that yielded no results. I paid a lot here too, but got the service I paid for: timely results, communication, and personalized support. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs full service and is struggling to find it.“
