“We’ve been taking our pets to Niskayuna Animal Hospital since moving here nearly two years ago, and Dr. Geagan and the staff have consistently shown compassion and professionalism towards us and our four pets. They always take the time to ensure our animals are comfortable, even disassembling our cat’s carrier to minimize her stress.

It’s clear that the well-being of the animals is their top priority, and that’s what matters most to us. We’ve never felt mistreated or found the staff to be anything but courteous and respectful.

I also appreciate their efficient system. Waiting in the car helps keep our pets calm, and we’re seen and checked out quickly.

Having experienced several vets over the years, Niskayuna Animal Hospital is by far our favorite, and I highly recommend them!“

“The absolute best of the best. Everyone from the receptionist to the vets and everyone in between is friendly and helpful. Dr. Bart is absolutely wonderful-so good with animals AND people. He is so great with my dog, who can be very difficult at times. I trust him immensely. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things thoroughly. Hands down, the best practice around.“

“I had been looking for a new vet since the last one started to go downhill. I started my puppy here and they have been fantastic. They have a reoccurring monthly rate for the puppy which is easier to budget and includes all shots.

I had an issue recently where he had multiple day diarrhea and they were able to give me a prescription for him over the phone that I picked up after hours that day. They called the next morning to make sure that the prescription had helped and answered some of my questions.“

“The staff at Cornerstone Veterinary hospital first saw my cat Christy when I walked in with a medical emergency and immediately evaluated her. I realized after talking to the tech that took her back said that they weren't but that they never turn away a pet and only evaluated her to make sure she was well enough to travel and suggested the nearest ER that was suited for the neurological issue she was having and they didnt charge me for the evaluation. Christy is now a patient at Cornerstone and I can't say enough about the gentle and professionaland care she was given by Dr Monast and her assistant at her first appt! Christy is recovering nicely!“

“I can’t say enough good things about Dr Rachel and Dr Sam. I’ve been with them for three years and even though I live further away now, I won’t switch vets. Dr Rachel recently amputated my 9 year old pittie’s tail. My schedule was tight and Dr Rachel worked with me to make sure I could bring my girl in as soon as possible. The surgery went well and she looks as perfect as ever.“

One of them is very fearful of the vet and they always take it slow, try to keep her as comfortable as possible, and are gentle with her.
