I called seeking housing services for a friend, and the referral guide Miller forwarded to me, got them into temporary housing! It's refreshing to know that there's quality help available at The Center. ?

Happy World AIDS Day! Great place, great Atmosphere. The only issue I have with the Center is unless you buy a Coffee at the Coffee shop, there is not much room for the community to hang out such as lounges, cosy spaces and dropins like you would find in Canada. I think it can be a little intimidating. I came once for a coffee and there was no sitting available, I then went all over this gigantic place and all I saw was empty rooms, not available to public and been told it’s to rent. So let me just start by saying that the center , is very resourceful and the concepts are amazing BUT the professionalism the people that work there , lack ? Horrendous. I’ve gone there several times and they’re either at the front gossiping, cursing up a storm or too busy talking to each other to properly acknowledge the people standing in front of them. Now, I am not saying that you shouldn’t converse with your colleagues but there’s also a time and place. I shouldn’t have to listen to you calling each other all types of B’s and H’s.
