Small rooms but totally worth it if you are a simple traveller and need "just a bed" as I say. There was a desk and a bedside table too. I paid a bit extra and got a room with a private bathroom. The showerhead was a bit wierd but I managed just fine. Fresh towels were provided daily. Location is excellent. George at reception is very friendly.
We loved the Leo house! I would stay here anytime I am in New York. If you are looking for a clean, no fuss, central hotel, it is perfect. The shared showers are individual washrooms that weren’t busy. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful (amber was awesome). And the location is great, it’s a 5 second walk to the subway station that can get you anywhere.Neighbourhood is also fun and safe. Walking distance to lots of cool stuff.The free breakfast is great as well - they had eggs, bagels, bacon, etc.Overall a great stay - we stayed at a Hyatt hotel for our last night in NY and I liked the Leo house better.
Will definitely come back. Very convenient location. Service was great. Having a common bathtub was not too much of a problem. Beds can be better but I had a single twin. Maybe different for a full bed. But for the price and parking nearby can be free for the weekend. The breakfast was above my expectations.Walkability: Chelsea is close to all the trains and the water
