“My husband and I could not recommend Dog City enough. Our Golden Doodle, Carlos, began going to “school” at Dog City starting at 6 months old during the week and sometimes stay at “The Inn” for boarding. Carlos was so happy and excited to go every day and loved his Dog City family. Even better, we were residents at The Tate in Chelsea and benefited from Carlos being picked up and dropped off each day. We felt so happy and calm to be able to have Carlos there while we were at work or traveling. Dog City gave us daily report cards with pictures and updates that we always looked forward to! Carlos made many friends, both dog and human, and Carlos is a better socialized dog because of his time spent at Dog City.

Our experience with Dog City was truly great and we would recommend it to anyone looking for day care or boarding for their dog in NYC.“

D. could be reactive, especially around other dogs. Bruno immediately came out to socialize with him to make him comfortable before taking him to the back. “Atsuko visited for a consultation about my cat. My cat has lost a lot of weight. I have a veterinarian for medical treatment, but was at the point where I really needed more help. Atsuko has a strong feeling for animals. She made suggestions for ways to feed (not type of food, just how to provide the food), litter box placement, and calmed this anxious cat-mom down. Although she does not advertise it, she is an "animal-empath". I tried the ways of feeding and the litterboxes and other suggestions. So far, the results are good! Lily seems far more contented.“

“The owner takes a lot of pride in striving for five star service with both grooming and day care. Friendly staff, and excellent accommodations. Had a groom I needed for my mini schnauzer, and although they had to cancel last minute due to a conflict within their staff, the owner went over and beyond to make it up to me. Can't expect perfection all the time, but the way a business handles customer inconvenience speaks volumes to the character of their business and service. Camp canine did just that. Highly recommended!“

“Wow! We have a 3-yr old Pomeranian and have had dozens of groomings over the years throughout NYC. Geneveve at Biscuits and Bath delivered the single best grooming our pup has received. I didn't exactly know what style I wanted with the NY summer but Geneveve took the time to show me pics and examples. And Coconut (our pup) came out happy, which is super rare in the grooming industry. He was treated well and come out looking great. Highly highly recommend and will definitely be going back for routine groomings. Thank you Geneveve!“

“We have been taking our Puppy to Pup Culture for 6 years & she LOVES it there. All the staff are friendly and professional and they take such good care of her. “My black cat, Freddie, is normally a very high-energy, feisty young cat; clipping his claws is a team sport for me and my boyfriend. He started forming a mat on his belly that neither of us had the confidence to deal with, so I reached out to Allie. I was able to schedule an appointment a week after contacting her. Allie took care of Freddie professionally and efficiently, and also gave us some tips to help reduce the likelihood of matting in the future.“

“I've had good experiences coming here with my Pekingese. The Asian man (unsure of his name) is friendly and always does a great job - I would say Nino gets one of better cuts he's had from him. I'm unsure how competitive the pricing is - I've only taken Nino here as well as the Unleashed Spa in the East Village, and those two places are priced similarly - but I've always been happy and intend to continue to bring my pup here as it's closer to my house than Unleashed, and he always gets the same groomer which is a bonus. EDIT: took a star off as my dog's rear paws appear irritated. He is chewing them obsessively for the fourth day now. Unsure what happened, seems they really irritated him with the clippers. Will have to take him to the vet.“
