My 70-lb bully mix, Ferdinand, absolutely hates vet visits and this is the only office that made him feel comfortable enough to even be touched. Dr. East & Jessica were incredibly kind and understanding, even when Ferdie started to act out which I felt so bad about. He didn't need a muzzle during the exam which was shocking because we've tried 4 other vets in the city this year alone, and none of them were able to lay a single finger on him. Dr. East & Jessica sat on the floor with Ferdie and were super reassuring with him the entire time. Even when he started to snap at them, they were so calm and patient as opposed to all the other vets we've tried who got offended and refused to try comforting him. You can tell they truly love animals and had my dog's best interests in mind. The ladies at the front desk were also so lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone on the search for a new vet, especially if you have an anxious baby like mine. I am so grateful I found this office - finally one that I trust and plan to go back to. Thank you to the entire RVCOC team!“

55 Leroy St, New York“In July we went for our vacation to Canada and America, while visiting NYC with our dog we were looking for daycare. City Tails NYC responded quick on our request by email.
Our labradoodle Mick was very welcome so we had our hands free to explore the city that never sleeps. Mick had two great days and the staff took very good care of him, we are thankful.
We absolutely recommend City Tails NYC ????????“

From a dog who panics as soon as we leave the door to a dog who can comfortably handle a duration of over an hour. I was absolutely blown away by the competency and experience of our trainer and now that th course has ended feel equipped and ready to continue our separation anxiety journey. Thank you CCA!“

41 Union Square W # 523, New York“The TBM team are true professionals. We've used them for walks and boarding for over 4 years now for our goldendoodle Pluto. They are reliable and trustworthy - they have never missed a walk and communicate well. Safety is a top priority - in how they train the team, the leashes, the size limits on walks - this was super important to me. They're a small close-knit team and seem to have strong retention - we've continuously worked with the same small set if walkers. We're super happy with TBM and feel fortunate to have found them - we highly recommend TBM!“

107 W 86th St #14D, New York“Deanne has been incredibly generous with her time and patience as I navigated life with not just one, but two puppies. Before meeting her, I was honestly feeling overwhelmed and frustrated. Through our conversations, I learned so much and was able to refine both my approach and understanding of puppy care.
Whether it was arranging puppy playdates, being a supportive sounding board, or even running home from the park in the pouring rain—puppies in tow—Deanne was always reliable, flexible, and accommodating. Her written summaries were especially helpful for keeping me focused and reminding me of our current goals.
We all have our own ways of communicating and doing things, and I truly appreciated that Deanne created space for a therapeutic relationship to develop at a pace that felt comfortable for both me and my puppies. Her support has made a real difference for us.“

38 Peck Slip, New York“The Big City Walkers (and overnight pet sitters -- we've used both!) have been exceptional. Just lovely people who love dogs and take great care of them. I was truly saddened that we needed to bid farewell to our walker -- we only did so as we moved out of the zone. Thank you for taking such good care of Coco!“

315 E 74th St, New York“As first time dog owners, finding a place to send our new pup during the day was stressful. Stephanie welcomed us with open arms and helped us transition seamlessly. She comes with a wealth of knowledge that really calmed us as new dog owners and sends us email updates and pictures throughout the day of our pup. We can tell she loves our baby as much as we do and we couldn’t be happier.“

210 E 85th St, New York“I met Elizabeth in 2016 walking my Apple on e85th street. She told me about Paws on Park and we needed a walker. I think we started a few weeks later. Elizabeth is the best. Apple loved her daily walks and I knew Apple was in good hands. The paws reports we received after the walk was a highlight in my day. Elizabeth also stayed w Apple for a week during thanksgiving week in 2016. I was nervous leaving Apple but I knew she was in good hands. Apple had a great week. Elizabeth and Paws on Park are the best dog walking business in nyc. I would not trust anyone else. Thank you so much Elizabeth for caring for Apple!!!“

244 W 74th St, New York“Mixy Paws was perfect! I needed 3 times a day walking for 2 weeks for my planned surgery. They were willing to work with me in advance. I wanted to make sure I was covered as I was more nervous about my dog than my own surgery. Someone came to my house to meet my dog, Lola, (no charge) before beginning. They aimed for 2 primary walkers… All the walkers were great and super punctual. After every walk I got a little narrative, a picture or 2, and documentation of ifshe did #1 and/or #2. And a request for my rating of the walk… always excellent. They were absolutely terrific.“

24 5th Ave, New York“Jessica is more than a dog trainer. She is more like a family counseling therapist for dog families. For folks like us where kids are not an option, it’s really a gift to have her keen insight and direct communication approach. We brought her in to work with the family dynamics of our resident dog (whom she also worked with 10 years ago) and our new puppy. Her counsel was invaluable to gaining structure and discipline in the house.“

76 W 85th St Unit A, New York“My husband and I have a five year old Whoodle (wheaten terrier and poodle mix). She has issues with resource guarding with myself and my husband when we are around other dogs. We’ve seen various trainers over the years with mix success and assurance over their credentials.
After long deliberation and research, we decided to get another Whoodle puppy. My husband has allergies to dogs and this is one of the few breeds he has found that do not cause inflammation. I was very anxious about the situation in case our current dog would be aggressive or unsettled with the addition. Before we got the puppy, we consulted with our vet, Heart of Chelsea (who is generally amazing). Heart of Chelsea recommend we contact one of their preferred trainers, which included Amanda Gagnon dog training.
From the point of booking the initial session, they were lovely to work with. Their services might be slightly more expensive that the neighborhood dog trainer, but they are worth every penny as these people are the real deal. Melissa came to our apartment to meet our current dog and help us with some tips on how to integrate a puppy as well as how to approach our dog’s aggressive behavior toward other dogs. Melissa so professional, smart, but also real. It didn’t feel like she was in any way judgmental or condescending. She offered great advice in person and also via email for follow-up questions. We had her come back again after we get the puppy to check-in on approach and progress. Their services SIGNIFICANTLY reduced my angst about the new puppy situation and made me feel like I had realistic, logical, and positive methods to tackle the situation.
I cannot recommend this Company more for care with your beloved dogs. Melissa and Amanda Gagnon are now go-to resources for us in making sure our furry family members are happy and healthy.“

46 W 73rd St, New York“The owner takes a lot of pride in striving for five star service with both grooming and day care. Friendly staff, and excellent accommodations. Had a groom I needed for my mini schnauzer, and although they had to cancel last minute due to a conflict within their staff, the owner went over and beyond to make it up to me. Can't expect perfection all the time, but the way a business handles customer inconvenience speaks volumes to the character of their business and service. Camp canine did just that. Highly recommended!“

252 E 94th St, New York“We are so grateful for Yorkville B&B! Our rescue Mandu loves coming in to see her friends. The staff is so kind, communicative, and accommodating. They have reasonable pricing for daycare and I love that they actively post their daycare pups on instagram so I can see what my baby girl is up to. Additionally, I love that there aren’t too many dogs at this location so it is a safe number for playgroups. Thank you to Ashley, and all of the wonderful staff members for making us feel so welcome! ❤️“

11 W 17th St, New York“It's difficult to convey how grateful I am that I found Adam. My dog is a real handful - he's anxious, reactive, and high energy. Other large "high end" boarding outfits in the city suggested we look elsewhere, and their trainers weren't able to help him. Adam, on the other hand, instantly connected with my dog and showed him that he was a trusted caregiver. Adam has a striking ability to understand exactly what dogs need to put them at ease. His knowledge, experience and confidence makes dog owners comfortable when entrusting him with a dog's care. He's really the best.“
8:30AM - 6PM
316 E 70th St, New York“We love Puppy Tale Lodge! This place is a gem. The staff is unbelievably kind, caring, and patient. We love how they let our large dog roam around after his bath instead of keeping him crated up. He always smells fantastic after. They do a great job cleaning his ears and cutting his nails. You can tell they really care for the dogs and like what they do. Would recommend to all looking for any grooming service. We feel so comfortable leaving our dog here for a few hours. They offer optional payment through an app, and notify you when your dog needs to be picked up. Puppy Tale Lodge also ensures all vaccinations are up to date which we really appreciate.“
7:30AM - 7PM
309 E 60th St, New York“All the staff and dogs are welcoming and NICE! From the moment we get in the door, we are always greeted with smiles. One can tell that doggo has a great time at Bae Tails. She is excited to stay at daycare and takes the best naps at home when she returns, which means, she plays lots and gets plenty of exercise.“

“I love EasyWag. The place is very clean and the location convenient. The best part is the staff. Jose, Kiana, Taj, Carmen, Jason, Zach are all amazing. They get to know the dogs and their personalities and they treat them like royalty. This is the only place I have trusted to board Leah. I love how they send texts and phones to keep me posted while i am at work or on vacation. Thank you Richie for having a great team.“
