“Dropped by for a trial class. Great gym to learn Muay thai. Everyone is so welcoming. Coach Nestor learned Muay Thai from the source, he lived in Thailand for about 8 years. He is very knowledgeable and pay attention to details. I really enjoyed the intensity of the class ??.“

“If you’re looking for something more than just discipline this is the dojo to go to. Ever since I joined this dojo life has been different around me. And mostly it has been for the good I highly recommend this dojo for anybody that’s looking on doing karate, of course by that I mean Traditional Karate. Best dojo in the heights!“

CK Chu Tai-Chi Chuan Martial Arts Schools

“This place is the real deal. Teachers are experimented and teach authentic Tai Chi, Nei Kung, Chi Kung and other practices. Each student gets individual attention for training and posture correction during classes so you get to work at your own pace. They are very friendly and there’s a very laid back, non-competitive, peaceful vibe. I’ve only been practicing for a couple of months and I am already seeing increased muscle mass, strength and flexibility. Nei Kung was a great revelation. An apparently soft practice but all about internal strength building and health. I highly recommend this school for people of all ages. Ellie.“

Taoist Arts Center Martial Arts Schools

“I actually started studying with Susan about ten or twelve years ago. I was only able to attend a couple of classes and then life took over. I finally have some free time in my schedule and I decided it is time to start up again. I am so glad I did. My stress level from work and family is high but after only six weeks I am feeling much more relaxed and I am becoming more in control of my emotions. I feel more energetic and my body is loosening up. The Taoist Arts Center is perfect to help ease the stress of daily life and to increase health. High recommended!“

Renzo Gracie Academy Martial Arts Schools

“This place lives up to the hype the level of training here is second to none. I room of killers. So many years knowledge on the mats and it shows. I very particular style of teaching with a step by step approach while constantly being on the cutting edge of the latest and newest techniques. Yes its stuffy its a basement. They redid the bathrooms much improved. The best gym ever, Master Renzo should he happen to be there is the most charismatic man I ever met and his stories and love for jiujitsu make him the legend he is. Highly recommend.“

Square Circle New York Martial Arts Schools

“My wife and I loved training at Square Circle. All the coaches are great and super knowledgable, but we particularly benefitted from Kru Rob's expertise. One thing that set Square Circle apart for us, though, was the community. There was a mix of levels, from folks currently competing to newer athletes, but everyone was super welcoming and eager to help / learn from one another. I definitely felt like it was a safe, fun place to spar, and bonus points for the beautiful space overlooking the Financial District. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to train Muay Thai in the city!“
