I really like East River Medical Imaging. I was sent here for an ultrasound and arrived early expecting it to be packed. The wait was minimal as they greeted me upon arrival, checked me in, and had me wait at most 10 minutes before I was called in. The office was quiet and clean. The receptionist were lovely. The tech doing the ultrasound was straight to the point and had me in and out in no time. I now only go to East River's many locations for my imaging needs over every other imaging center in the city. It's always a great experience at all of their locations and they really do accommodate you if it's a rushed service that's required.
Dr. Schopis is an excellent Gastroenterologist! I was looking for a doctor for a colonoscopy, and I could not have chosen anyone better. The procedure went well, and I didn't even know it happened! Pre-colonoscopy and post-procedure follow-ups were very informative. Very personable. Minimal wait time. Would recommend Dr. Schopis to anyone seeking a physician for this type of medical procedure.
I've been in Carnegie South in different locations and this location is the best. I had a good experience with the staffs, the ultrasound technician and the doctor here. They guided me go through the whole process in ease and comfort. Highly recommend for future-mamas
I had such a great experience here with my first ever MRI. The staff are so accommodating and the location is beautiful. It feels like you are in a spa, not a doctor’s office. The MRI tech was so kind and explained everything very simply and clearly. Would definitely go again.
The x-ray technician was friendly and professional. I didn't have to wait long for my x-ray. My appointment was at 1:30 and I was out and finished by 2 pm.

I visited the Roman K Salon for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the entire experience. When it comes to curls, Keiffer is AMAZING! I asked for a balayage to naturally blend with my original (dark brown) hair color while, still adding subtle pops of a coppery-red & he mastered it beautifully. He's great with handling your cut needs with care & understanding...I wanted to keep growing my hair out though the ends needed some loving, but he did a great job of keeping the overall U-shape with long & some face-framing layers. Highly recommend him!

I had a pretty high undercut that didn’t get a chance to grow out that much, so transforming it into a fade cut would be very tricky, but Alex did such a wonderful job! He also stopped to ensure that I was satisfied with each step and asked my preferences even on minor details. He also showed how to dress my hair to add texture to it. Very satisfied!

These gentlemen are masters of their craft. I first came here 8yrs ago on a colleague’s recommendation and I never looked back. I even moved out to Brooklyn 6yrs back and still come here because the cuts are excellent, the vibe is on point, and the price is incredible value for the experience and results. I get my cuts from Yuri but all three are excellent (Robert, Mike, and Yuri). Do yourself a favor and give them a try, you’ll become a regular.
David’s a great barber. He’s reliable, personable, and will make time to fit you in. Importantly, he’s consistent with his cuts - there’s no anxiety in David’s chair. Great to find something that is so good local, and at a reasonable price.

This was my first time at Dapper Barbershop. I had a hectic work week and my schedule didn’t allow me to get to my normal barber. Dapper came highly recommended to me , and I was glad I went. I'm insanely picky about how my hair is cut, so when I say these guys are the best in NYC, I mean it. I had a scissor cut done by Tim the other day, and he was immediately ready to meet my expectations and how I wanted it cut. The cut went smooth and in no time I was out the door with a way cleaner look. From now on when I'm in the city, I know exactly who to go to. I cannot stress enough that 12 Pell and Tim specifically are at the top of their game.

I was one of the first customers when this shop opened 10 years ago, and it's as worthy of the 5 star review now as it was then. The quality continues to be top notch. I no longer live in NYC but often make a trip just for a cut. I typically see Sam, but have gotten cuts from everyone. I no longer need to tell them what I want done, they just know. The free shots are still a nice touch, and the hot towel wrap at the end is the icing on the cake. Prices have gone up from their original $15, but at only $33 these days, still a better deal than anywhere else I've been. Love these guys.
My absolute favorite spray tan EVER. I usually go to the Union Square location but love how the UES location is just as comfortable, clean + welcoming. My sprays last through summer sweat + workouts and I feel super comfortable continuing to tan while pregnant. Couldn't recommend more!
Great experience spray tanning. I decided to get a spray tan last minute yesterday because I am going away for a wedding this weekend and they were able to put me in the schedule for next hour. Everyone was very friendly and guided me to choose the right color spray for my skin tone. I will definitely come back!
I wanted a spray tan while I was in NY, and had a hard time finding a place that would take me last minute. Portofino accommodated me and Lianghy did such a great job on my tan, it's the best one in be gotten so far. I highly recommend both the place and Lianghy, she was awesome!!!
Sugaring is the way to go for hair removal - and Sugared & Bronzed is the place to go! With its welcoming environment and welcoming sugaring techs you definitely feel comfortable and at ease. My only BUT is corporate should remind techs to remind clients to take deep breaths and to apply gentle pressure post pull!

She’s personable, professional, explains everything, patient, and you don’t feel intimidated asking her questions. I have a Masters in IO psychology (psychology for the workplace) and she has all the traits of a great employee. There was an issue and the owner made it a point to rectify it very quickly, so I want to thank the owner for being hands on and appreciating his customers and for keeping great staff like Jen. If you need tanning, come to this place.

I’ve been coming to The Tanning Spot for 2 years now and I can honestly tell you it’s the most official tanning place in the city. Affordable prices and not a pretentious place like some of I’ve tried out before (Future Tan anyone). The place is clean and the tanning machines are up to par. The girls that work there particularly Courtney and Alexis are awesome ? and cool to chat with and accommodating to your needs. Just ask.
P.S. for the most affordable option and if you’re a serious tanner go with the unlimited plan for 3 months. You won’t regret it.

This was my first time here, I needed a gel-x change while visiting the city for work and now I wish I could afford to fly back for every mani/pedi.I got a gel-x removal and redo at the same time as my gel pedicure. This is the first nail salon where I walked away with ZERO nicks or cuts, and no friction burn from the gel removal (gel-x girlies will know what I’m talking about, those efiles can get hot fast).The other thing I really appreciated was how upfront they were during the service about any extra charges. Anytime I asked for something that wasn’t included in the basic manicure package (like callous removal, special topcoat, etc) the tech stopped, explained the price to me, and waited until I confirmed to resume.They are clean, fast, and very skilled - highly recommend Zara if you’re in NYC and want a painless dry manicure.

I did the lash extension class this past weekend and all I can say is this is the best instructor (Miya ) I have ever had. She was very attentive and hands on showing as well as explaining and it was very easy to catch on and she provided me a Kit for starting after! I loved this class and will be back for a different one.
Hi I made the eyelashes with Irina for the second time and I have never been so wildly delighted, they are very easy to wear. we selected the length and thickness of the eyelashes just for me, it’s just a shock, they fall out evenly, there are no holes among the eyelashes and they don’t bother me at all. I took minimal care, used an oil-free makeup remover and removed the water with a napkin. Before that, I had my eyelashes done many times by different specialists, but they wore disgustingly, they bothered me, they were heavy and fell off so much that then I took another month to restore my eyelashes. In the first photo, day 1 and Irina also did my eyebrows, and in the second photo, 1 month later

I was walking around the neighborhood and picked up a service menu. They had some services I was interested in so I came back and gave the place a try. Mona did my facial. To manage expectations, this place is no frills whatsoever. No aesthetic, tranquility, etc. you will be in a shared space and they will likely be talking the whole time but I still had an amazing facial. It was $89 and lasted for 90mins. It included all of the basics, as well as extractions, chest and shoulders, a head massage, high frequency, and a special treatment for my skin type. Mona analyzed my skin and determined it was oily. She gave me a treatment for it and recommended some products for home. Will definitely be back.

I cannot recommend the Skin Bar team highly enough! After several years of dabbling with various other providers off and on I finally found exactly what I had been looking for when I arrived at Skin Bar. Matt and Gina do a fantastic job of explaining every available service and then making great suggestions (microneedling has been a game changer for me). I really appreciate their emphasis on long term strategy when it comes to constructing a skin care plan. Scheduling is super easy. The facility is immaculately clean. Cute studio tucked away inside Fulton tower - look for 139 go to floor 7. Right off the A/C train and Fulton center and close to work. After I moved I had to find a convenient new lash spot. Relaxing vibes so on point I fell asleep immediately but woke up to full set of glam anime lashes. I did anime wispy lashes - 14 length C curl cat eye. Priced reasonably and so far they feel nice. Everyone here is so nice and very responsive customer service - they text you or call you back quickly.
I’m very new to semi-permanent makeup but working with Jenny for brows has been amazing from start to end! She’s so knowledgeable about shaping and mapping and I felt so taken care of during the entire process. She asked me for photos of what I wanted and worked with me to figure out what would look best on my face. Jenny also has super gentle hands, paused every time I needed a break, and added each new layer of color efficiently. I highly recommend booking here for brows — this studio also offers lip color, lash lifts/lamination/tinting and eyeliner. Would definitely encourage my friends to check out this location ?

I got my very first tattoo done by Moko at CJ Tattoo and I couldn't be happier with it. I didn't know what to expect but she made the process easy and it set me at ease as I got my tattoo. They have little snacks for you as you get your piece done and they have privacy screens to make you more comfortable. I travelled from Maryland to get this tattoo done specifically by Moko because I loved her work from the moment I first saw it and I knew she could create exactly what I wanted, and it was definitely worth the trip. From the initial booking request, they were so helpful and answered all of my questions through many back and forth emails. They sent me the design a couple days before my appointment and I couldn't wait to get it done. It's healing so well and I'm extremely happy with my tattoo. Had a great experience with Arjun this past weekend! I reached out to him with my design idea a few weeks prior and we were able to set a date. Once there it was an easy process getting set up and Arjun was prepared with questions and stencils, and helped me until I found the perfect size/placement. The tattooing itself was great, Arjun was gentle and let me know when it would get more painful. They were very accommodating and even offered to buy me dinner when we took a break. Very hospitable and kind, and the tattoo came out fantastic, I’m super satisfied and would recommend anyone come to this shop!

I should’ve written this review when I went there. They were very friendly and helpful when the tattoo and piercing place in the Bronx were terrible. Red Baron is a great place to go to, the female staff, I believe her name is Lauren took care of me when my navel piercing was hanging down. She explained everything to me, she was very helpful. When I told her my situation with the other place when they told me to let the piercing fall out, even she explained that’s not what they were supposed to say. She was able to take out the piercing and waited a few months to get repierced by her, she did a great job. I would definitely recommend this place.

It was easy to make an appointment, instructons were super clear, I could upload the image I wanted. I had my tattoo done by Daniel. He was fantastic at making me feel at ease. Love my tattoo! Right from where I walked in, I was greeted by the receptionist. It's such a beautiful huge space tucked in between various businesses. It's very clean, organized and well thought of. I got a recent tattoo from a guest artist who visited NYC this past week. There is a back space once you walk in for permanent residence and for guest artists, you will be led up a flight upstairs to the 2nd floor. I was amazed by everything and am so in love with my tattoo!

Eric from Jason & Sons Plumbing was impressive in his communication and dialogue regarding various alternatives to enhance the water pressure of a building around 500 feet from the road in New York. Eventually, Eric eliminated the water regulator at the street (as seen in the picture) and put a new water regulator (prv) at the house, resulting in a noticeable enhancement.

Leo showed up early and assessed the problem: he fixed it, which initially seemed simply and said " if it stops working again , I will come back and do a full service, but it's not needed unless it stops" Not pushy at all- honest - professional - a real strait shooter who I could tell knew the product inside and out. Because I had him there already I insisted to just go for it, because I had the Housekeper coming who could help us clear out the whole fridge to get into the back. Lo and behold the fridge did have an unforeseen internal problem which needed to be addressed. He took his time, thoroughly fixed everything in the Viking Fridge internals and was in no way rushing.

IT is VERY VERY difficult for me to give 5 stars for a cleaning service as I have tried so many and they have specially disappointed.However, I used City Maid Service in June before moving into my apartment so they can clean the dust and dirt off every shelf and clean the beyond disgusting oven and refrigerator that was left behind.They did a PHENOMENAL job!!!! They left behind the little ledge outside my apartment and the broiler in my oven and City Maid Service sent them the next day to come clean it and they did.. and did a phenomenal job.I am now going to be using City Maid service to clean my apartment on a monthly or biweekly basis.Again.. this is hard, but I really think they make a significant difference.

Ace Bedbug Exterminating was by far and away the easiest bed bug exterminator to deal with and most reasonable price I got when my bed bug issue cropped up about a year ago.
It was a Sunday night when I felt something crawling on my leg while sitting on my couch, and I grabbed at my leg. When I opened my hand it revealed something that looked like a bed bug, and indeed it was.
While our infestation was minimal (we saw 2 bedbugs in 2 weeks of visually monitoring and a canine inspection confirmed it was only in 2 rooms), the estimates I was getting to resolve the issue in my 3 bedroom home were astronomical. A competitor quoted me $6,000+ for a heat treatment which carried no guarantee on it. And the reality of it is, all you need are a few eggs to survive the heat, and you have to start the removal process all over again. Additionally, they suggested a separate treatment with vikane gas, which as it turns out, can be harmful to people if used to treat older furniture. I think that would have been an extra $2K between the gas a truck rental or so. And then we also would have had to remove personal items from the bedrooms, etc. The competitor was happy to refer me to a mover to get the items out of the room. I think that estimate was another $1600 or so.
When I called Luis at Ace, he was able to give me a ballpark estimate over the phone and confirmed it with a free-estimate in-person. It was less than half the price of the $6K estimate from the competitor... But the Ace service included a guarantee. Another one of Ace's competitors wanted to charge me something like $150 for an in-person estimate. Horrible.
Ace uses the Aprehend bed bug treatment, which is basically an amazing science-based bio-weapon that is only harmful to the bugs. The bed bugs crawl through the invisible film left by the treatment, but it doesn't kill them instantly. Instead it clings to them, they bring it back to the nest, and it's there at the treatment spreads through the colony and begins breaking down the bed bugs' from the outside in.
Ace's competitor that quoted me $6K+ for the heat treatment also lost points because they bad-mouthed the Aprehend treatment when I asked them about it. They said it was oily, messy and would leave a residue and mess. Maybe that happens with amateur exterminators, but that was not my experience. After Luis left, I inspected everywhere he was supposed to spray and there was no visible trace of the Aprehend.
Suffice it to say it has been a year, and we have not seen a beg bug since.
In addition to treating my home, Luis treated my car with another product called CrossFire (the Aprehend would not have survived in the heat of the car).
Additionally at the time, my father was living with me and he was a chair-bound dementia patient, which would have made treating the house a major challenge if not for Luis' kindness. Luis came and treated the house on the first day, and we isolated my Dad in his room for about 3 hours. Then, the next day, Luis came back and treated my Dad's room at no extra charge. What can you say about someone like that, other than to know there are good people in the world who will go above and beyond in difficult circumstances.
The problem with bed bugs are the exterminators. Most of them are bottom feeders who are looking to sell and upsell you on expensive treatments that carry no promise of success. That's not the case, thanks to Ace's guarantee.
Dealing with bed bugs has been the one of the worst experiences of my life. But it's not the bugs. They're actually easy to get rid of and more of an inconvenience, as they are harmless and unlike, say mosquitoes, which actually carry and spread disease. We just finished our second (and hopefully final) visit from EZ Pest. Obviously it's very stressful when you have unwanted pests; however, the EZ Pest crew has been helpful, assuring, and professional throughout. I initially called another company with a canine to do our inspection but I didnt have a great feeling about them and decided to reach out to EZ Pest based on their reviews for the extermination. I wasn't familiar with the low prep extermination method and I am honestly so grateful! It has saved us hours by not having to launder and bag all our belongings. I will update this review later once we are bed bug free for a few weeks but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend EZ Pest based on our experience so far.

Waiting until Thursday and nothing else occurred. I appreciate his practical advice, rather than urging me to do a $300+ inspection that might not have been necessary — which is what all the other companies were doing.

My husband and I have been having our dental needs attended to at Central Park West Dental for years. They are the best there is. We came down from Westchester when we lived there, and across town in the city. The dentists are top of the line as are the hygienists and all the assistants, and the office staff as well. Our insurance paperwork is taken care of better than we do ourselves. Reminders are sent, too, thankfully. New York's finest.
Entering the dental office, I was greeted by the nicest front desk staff. The waiting room was clean and smelled really nice. I didn’t wait long. I felt taken care of as I did my dental cleaning. I was asked constantly if I was okay, if I felt pain, and so forth. Dr. Gordon was really nice too. I can honestly say that I don’t mind going back and continuing my care there.
Wonderful experience with JBL. Very informative and thorough appointment with Dr. Mac. I felt like he genuinely heard my concerns and explained everything in detail. Very kind staff. Looking forward to continuing care with this team.

I was a professional ice hockey player for eight years and for years and years I dealt with neck and back pain in 2022. I fell and broke a bone in the left side of my back when it healed something happened to where I ruptured four discs in the middle of my back and I was in bed for basically six months now I have been watching the ringer and watching Dr. Johnson in Texas give people the ring dinger and hoping one day I could get it not knowing there was a doctor whose team ringer in New York. I was very depressed. Thought that I would never be able to walk right again or work out during this time. I gained over 40 pounds I saw Dr. Shani time and time now is about four months in that four months. I’ve lost over 25 pounds and I’m back to working out and I’m excited for next weeks second adjustment. I think all people that are skeptical about this technique. Take it from me. I was skeptical, but this changed my life. I thought I was gonna not be able to walk be heavy overweight and be aching with my back the whole whole time doctors were saying oh you’re gonna need major back surgery, but since I got the ringer and my adjustment the first time I’ve made this much of an improvement and I’m looking forward to next Wednesday’s appointment
Absolutely life changing. An incredibly holistic approach to health that encompasses bodywork, diet, lifestyle. So far, I have had chiropractic work, acupuncture, red light therapy with a PEMF mat, and trigger point. It’s incredible so many diverse approaches to chronic pain are addressed under one roof. I have been seeing Dr. Gordon for 10 months now. I went to him for migraines and overall body pain. Since being under his treatment my pain is well managed by a treatment plan and has improved tremendously. Throughout my health journey, very few practitioners have taken the time to actually listen to me and Dr. Gordon not only listens but is very invested in improving my symptoms and always goes the extra mile. He is a kind hearted individual who genuinely cares about his clients. HIGHLY recommend!!
Dr. Shire is a miracle worker for aches and pains that come with pregnancy. I’ve had low back pain since the start of the second trimester and now going to him in my third I wish I would’ve gone sooner. I also feel like I can actually breathe easier and take a full breath after getting adjusted. Would highly recommend for any pregnant women.
I had a terrible pain in my lower back that I couldn’t almost move for one day. After my first visit to Dr Sid, he localized my pain and worked on it. I was able to move much freely with less pain, and left the office walking feeling much better!
I’ll be back tomorrow to work more on my recovery.
Dr. Dan Huang is really helpful in treating my high hamstring tendon issues. He quickly diagnosed my issues and prescribed exercises. Over the months I have been doing the exercises and improved a lot. He is also very kind to his patients. As a runner himself, he understands the problems and can explain to you very well ; he also shows you how to properly do the exercises. His space is easy to get to and very clean. I highly recommend Dr. Dan!

Lamb chiropractic, is the best service in this field by some distance. The atmosphere is welcoming and professional, the equipment is state of the art and everything is so clean and sanitary. Most important of all Dr Lamb is superb at his craft. He cares for each patient and constantly goes above and beyond . I have suffered with disc issues for 12 years and seen a dozen chiropractors in that time . For the past 3 years I have been coming to Lamb chiropractic and have had the most pain free time of the last 12 years. I highly recommend to anyone .

Having received care from Dr. James and Dr. Erin for over 8 years in their Brooklyn office, I was fortunate enough to visit their new location in North Richland Hills. The space itself is absolutely stunning, with plenty of natural light, separate consultation rooms, a large adjusting room and high ceilings throughout the refreshing office space. I have always gravitated towards their holistic chiropractic techniques and have benefited from their care immensely. Both Dr. James and Dr. Erin have a very calming energy and are always able to pin-point the areas of my body that need the most attention. They have cultivated a fantastic space here and I highly recommend them to anyone searching for chiropractors who really care about their clients’ well- being. 10/10!
Dr. Adam is the BEST! Seeing him is always one of the best parts of my week. He is incredibly knowledgable, listens carefully to understand my issues, and makes me feel extremely comfortable. For well over a decade I’ve visited Dr. Stephen Comite both for annual check-ups and for specific skin problems when they’ve occurred.I live outside Manhattan, and the trip in to see him has always been worth the time and effort. Dr. Comite has an encyclopedic knowledge of his medical specialty which allows him to answer - clearly and concisely - all questions. “What caused this?” “What can I do about it?” “What if I just leave it alone?” He does not rush his responses, he invariably offers options, he is sensitive to the cost of prescriptions and procedures (hence, the options), and he LISTENS to the patient. He also never fails to personally follow-up after a procedureHe is surrounded by bright, helpful, kind staff members who, like Dr. Comite, remain focused on the patient and will not rush, even when the office is busy. Today was my first visit with Dr. Tatyana Petukhova, and I’m thrilled I found her and UnionDerm. She and her assistant, Gabby, were amazing! I felt really happy with the consultation. Dr. Petukhova provided great medical and cosmetic recommendations, created a plan that felt attainable, and took a lot of time to really talk with me! After experiencing frustrating misdiagnoses at two dermatologist offices, I found myself feeling disheartened and confused about the spots on my face. The initial diagnosis of acne at the first office seemed plausible, but when a different dermatologist identified them as cold sores, I became increasingly skeptical. It wasn't until I sought out a third opinion that I finally received a proper diagnosis.At the third dermatologist office, the difference was immediately noticeable. Dr. Howard took the time to thoroughly examine my skin and conducted appropriate tests. Her diligence paid off when she accurately diagnosed me with lupus, a condition that had been overlooked by the previous offices. Words cannot express how much I appreciate Dr. Howard and her thoroughness with my health. She has amazing bedside manner and takes the time to make sure that you understand what she is explaining.The negligence of the first two offices not only caused unnecessary anxiety and frustration but also delayed proper treatment for my condition. Still happy with Dr Goldman! Now my son is 14 and suffered from terrible cystic teenage acne. Dr Goldman prescribed a topical medication and the acne is gone for good!! My son couldn't be happier and I'm super impressed at how effective Dr Goldman's treatment has been.

We HIGHLY recommend West Village Veterinary Hospital and Dr. Angela Hildenbrand. Dr. Hildenbrand is empathetic, compassionate, highly intelligent, and well-versed in veterinary care. She is also humble enough to know her limitations and help arrange appointments with specialists (the next day!) who can properly diagnose specialized issues.
Our dog, unfortunately, passed from his multiple chronic conditions, but our lasting memory of Dr. Hildenbrand will be her compassion toward our little guy. He was rapidly losing weight and had a diminished appetite in his final days, unable to lift his head due to a fast-growing mass on his neck. Without hesitation, Dr. Hildenbrand grabbed a can of food, got down on the floor, and began hand-feeding him at his level. Somehow she was able to get him to eat during our visit. It makes us tear up every time we think about it. In the nearly 15 years of our beautiful dog's life, we have never witnessed that level of compassion shown to him and us, his parents. If and when the time comes for us to get another dog, we will be seeing Dr. Hildenbrand WITHOUT A DOUBT. We enthusiastically recommend her and West Village Veterinary Hospital.
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Meltzer's practice. His care is so caring, compassionate, attentive and of course competent! Everyone at the practice has been the most helpful and responsive! I feel full confidence that our two senior cats are in the best and most capable hands!!
Dr. Pietrzyk and her staff are so kind and empathetic. They couldn't have been more gentle with my little cat, or caring to us, when we had to say goodbye. Euthanasia is always emotional, but they made us all feel so cared for, and supported. Dr. Pietrzyk explained everything so thoroughly, and gave us as much time as we needed before and after. I had never been to this practice before, but their kindness and compassion didn't make it feel that way at all. If you are looking for a knowledgeable and truly caring vet, I can't recommend this practice enough.
Dr Lowenstein went above and beyond to help me with my fur baby. It’s hard enough as a human to move, and I knew it would be stressful on my fur babe. Dr Lowenstein was able to give her a full examination to ensure she was ready to fly. My cat tends to be tender and sweet, but nervous - he eased her, and prepped her for flight which went wonderfully! Now she’s united with me, and we are thrilled!
In the saddess day, Riverside Animal Hospital treat me and my dog with compation, gave me privacy and time to hold her and say goodbye.
Staff are very professional, friendly with Mya and they answer all my questions. The location is very clear and the doctor toke she time explaining everything to me.

The City Pets team are the absolute best in the city - they provided top notch care for our dog Cody in his senior years after vet visits became way too stressful for him. Other home vets turned us away because they couldn’t handle Cody’s many chronic medical issues, but Dr. Attas, Dr. Dalton, and their entire team welcomed him with so much care and compassion and helped add many many more years to Cody’s life. They helped us navigate countless health issues and emergencies, never giving up on Cody and helping him pull through every time. They always slotted us in when it was an emergency and were always very responsive, even on nights and weekends. When it came time to say goodbye, they handled everything with so much love and warmth and Cody was so at peace with them. Without a doubt Cody would not have lived such a long, full life without their care. They are truly the best of the best!
Dr. Dolorosa has been a wonderful vet to our cats. We took them in to have their teeth cleaned, and one needed extractions, which were performed really well. Dr. Dolorosa is a true professional. When we went back with one cat a year or so ago because we had been advised by another professional to do so, Dr. Dolorosa, instead of just taking the opportunity to do a cleaning said that we could and should wait. We appreciated her honesty so much, as cleanings are, justifiably, a considerable expense. We will be returning to her to get our cats' teeth cleaned again. It is great to work with someone whom you can trust on all levels.

I absolutely love it here. I have brought my big boy Theodore here for a check up and my new little kitten Rosalie here for her first check up! Just moved to the city and discovered Honey’s! She did an amazing job grooming my Samoyed and her care was super evident. He had surgery a few months ago so I asked her to be gentle around his incision. Her salon is also very clean and spacious. Will def come back!
The groomers were really sweet. My pup was really matted, and they were super patient with her, and she still got a cute cut even though it was close shave. Plus, they gave us a cute dog journal to keep track of her grooming progress and behavior.

Joey was very accommodating. I just walked in off the street, and he took me right away. He just opened a few days before. Joey shows Afghans and you could really see his love for dogs. Scupper got the best grooming ever!
Krysta and Steve did a PHENOMENAL job taking care of (ie training) our little beloved "Kizzy" over the 4th of July weekend -- they did such a a fine job that I told my sister. This is how business should be run!

Atsuko visited for a consultation about my cat. My cat has lost a lot of weight. I have a veterinarian for medical treatment, but was at the point where I really needed more help. Atsuko has a strong feeling for animals. She made suggestions for ways to feed (not type of food, just how to provide the food), litter box placement, and calmed this anxious cat-mom down. Although she does not advertise it, she is an "animal-empath". I tried the ways of feeding and the litterboxes and other suggestions. So far, the results are good! Lily seems far more contented.

This business is wonderful! They are an amazing group of genuine dog lovers! I am fostering a dog who needed his nails cut and I was nervous to do it myself. D. could be reactive, especially around other dogs. Bruno immediately came out to socialize with him to make him comfortable before taking him to the back. He efficiently and lovingly clipped his nails, and D. was totally good! And (!) they thanked me for fostering and didn't charge me! Really so kind!
I've had good experiences coming here with my Pekingese. The Asian man (unsure of his name) is friendly and always does a great job - I would say Nino gets one of better cuts he's had from him. I'm unsure how competitive the pricing is - I've only taken Nino here as well as the Unleashed Spa in the East Village, and those two places are priced similarly - but I've always been happy and intend to continue to bring my pup here as it's closer to my house than Unleashed, and he always gets the same groomer which is a bonus. EDIT: took a star off as my dog's rear paws appear irritated. He is chewing them obsessively for the fourth day now. Unsure what happened, seems they really irritated him with the clippers. Will have to take him to the vet.
My black cat, Freddie, is normally a very high-energy, feisty young cat; clipping his claws is a team sport for me and my boyfriend. He started forming a mat on his belly that neither of us had the confidence to deal with, so I reached out to Allie. I was able to schedule an appointment a week after contacting her. Allie took care of Freddie professionally and efficiently, and also gave us some tips to help reduce the likelihood of matting in the future.
We have been taking our Puppy to Pup Culture for 6 years & she LOVES it there. All the staff are friendly and professional and they take such good care of her. We now receive photos of her whilst she’s there. I know she is in safe hands. She also has grooming and they do a fantastic job. I really cant recommend them highly enough they are fantastic!
Biscuits & Bath Battery Park is THE BEST! My dog loves all of the staff & so do I. I never have to worry about him when I'm at work and they go above and beyond to accommodate my crazy work schedule. I also use them for grooming and he always looks so cute. The place I used prior made me nervous bc they left dogs unattended on the grooming table (I actually stayed once the whole time bc I was scared) but NOT Biscuits & Bath. It's worth every penny spent!

The girls who work here are absolute dolls, especially Taylor! She has a super soft hand (girls you know what I mean, sometimes the specialists out there forget that the hair is actually still attached to your body ?♀️). Also the wax they use is really mild, so the process is way less painful! I’ve been a client of Taylor’s for a while, but even still, every time I find myself in her chair she walks me through the process to make sure I’m comfortable with what she’s doing. I live in Brooklyn and there are tons of salons way closer to me, but I’ll make the trip to Bespoke because I know I’ll be taken care of right!
I came to Brow Society after the recommendation from a friend. The website made it very easy to book an appointment, and I appreciate that all the prices are listed up front. Isabel did a great job with my brows and I would definitely recommend her! The actual estheticians tools seemed find, but overall I wish the salon was a little cleaner. It felt a little grimy in the wax rooms and the lobby, and there was no sanitary paper on the wax tables.
Top notch! Kritti and her team really look after you. Everything was amazing and enjoyable from the teas, service, and especially the Therapeutic Thai healing stretch/massage. 10/10 and highly recommend!

Went to a yoga class here. The instructor was great, he had a wonderful sense of humor and very knowledgeable with all of the poses. He guided the class with seamless transitions and tips to get a more fulfilling pose. The studio staff was very friendly and welcoming.

I just finished my 200 YTR here, it completely exceeded my expectations. The syllabus is clear and students are provided with so much support/guidance to meet expectations. Three Sister Yoga is a wonderful yoga school!!
I recommend the Iyengar Yoga Institute of NYC, I had an amazing yoga class with Tori Milner, she is awesome at motivating her students to reach their full potential, gradually. The entrance is adorable and the classrooms are spacious and luminous. Next travel to NYC, I’ll come back!
Not sure what I’d do without this place. I’ve been going almost daily for about 4 months, and it’s amazing. The teachers range from very good to incredible, and the setting is perfect. It’s a suggested donation of $10, which it is well worth, but you can pay what you can.It’s a power vinyasa yoga, with a one breath, one movement format, that results in a fantastic workout. If you want to get your body healthy and strong, and feel good doing it, I highly recommend this class.They offer numerous times throughout the week, with enough variety to accommodate most any schedule. All types of people and levels of yogi attend, so don’t worry about where you are at. Yoga is ultimately an individual practice that is much motivated and inspired by doing it with others. I just love it.

I have been practicing Tantra with Michiko for a year now and I can say honestly that she changed my life. I met her just googling Tantra as I was going through a burnout and a life crisis. She has since been my teacher and my beacon in this healing and soul searching journey. The best way I can describe Michiko is a mix between a fairy godmother, spiritual master, and a samurai. I did Pilates sessions with Halle at Mongoose twice a week for 10 months prior to having spine surgery in order to be as strong as I could beforehand. Now, over two months post-surgery I’m back to working out on the reformer and other equipment as part of my rehab program. I know I am safe thanks to Halle’s careful observations of my body as I go through the various movements and her insightful cues to get just the right muscles to fire. Her studio in SoHo is well equipped and is a peaceful sanctuary for my Pilates practice. I am grateful for her skills.
After my breast cancer surgery and treatments, I was looking to start slowly with Pilates to solve for my tight muscles and nerves. I found the Pilates Circuit around the corner of my apartment in Chelsea and signed up for a few private sessions with Anyeli. She is absolutely fantastic! Completely focused on my abilities, growth and recovery, she guided me through exercises that made me feel much more confident and better in terms of reach and moving. I've continued since as I love the private reformer sessions and custom approach for building strength and health at my own pace.

I have been working with Emma for over 2 years through a hip replacement and my strength, flexibility and confidence in movement have all improved dramatically. I confess, I own a bag that says "My yoga pants have never been to yoga" but my oncologist and naturopathic doctor have been strongly urging me to strengthen, stretch, move (aka exercise!) daily on my journey to heal from cancer. When my fitness-loving niece flew into town, we decided, instead of eating, to take a Pilates class together. We signed up for a Reformer All Levels Sunday afternoon class at Avea Pilates. I was a bit nervous because all of my previous (limited) experiences doing Pilates has been disappointing and self-esteem-crushing - I've walked out after classes sad and ashamed that I have the weakest "core" ever and non-existent upper body strength. I could never keep up with other students and the teachers always made me feel like the worst student. Avea Pilates is DIFFERENT! My niece and I walked into a beautiful sunlit studio greeted by our gorgeous instructor Victoria. The reformer machines were so clean, they looked brand new. The 12pm class only had one other student so with me and my niece makes 3, it practically seemed like a private class! Our teacher Victoria led us through the exercises on the reformer and without skipping a beat, gave each of us individualized guidance. She also has experience working with physical therapy patients so she smoothly and discreetly directed me to use the lighter hooks on some exercises (even changed them out for me on some stretches) knowing that I had limited range of motion on one side of my body. I felt so cared for, while at the same time, I was getting a great workout! A few of the Pilates exercises reminded me of ballet class - I was in my element! Success! I can do Pilates after all! Afterwards Victoria handed us these blue water bottles and a towel. Wow, I thought, this is luxury, beautiful water bottles to drink out of! No, it was a spray bottle of cleaner, we were asked to spray our reformer equipment and wipe them clean. That's fair and pretty smart! My mind and body already felt energized and refreshed from such a wonderful Pilates class so wiping down my machine was a breeze. Walking out of Victoria's class at Avea Pilates, my posture was straighter, my muscles felt longer and stronger and my self-confidence definitely had a boost!
Great classes & studio. Spend 1 week in NYC and tried out their 99$ membership which was a great deal for reformer Pilates. Not much individual guidance, but I enjoyed the classes very much.
I really enjoy the classes with the soccer instructors. They all bring something new to each session and are helpful with correction and explanation.
Elliot's physical therapy has been invaluable for a family member suffering from chronic neck and back pain. The quality of life has improved greatly thanks to the exercises that he gave, unlike many other PTs that we tried in the past. If he is busy, his team is great too. Highly recommend!
AMAZING VIRTUAL PILATES CLASS. the perfect amount of challenge combined with deep stretching in between exercises. I feel honored to have taken a class with Jesolyn, such an experienced instructor, with 30+ years of teaching (and it shows, hah!) Through out the class she made sure all the students were performing the exercises properly and she corrected our form if needed. She also gave modifications to tailor to each individual student. I highly recommend this studio, specifically, Jesolyn’s virtual mat class. Thank you!!!
I came to Pilates Local as a novice, trying to find a consistent form of movement that was right for me. Kristin and Michele took me under their wing immediately. They are encouraging, thoughtful, and expert instructors who have transformed my body and spirit. I cannot imagine my week without them.

Been going to Pilates Room for 2 years and it has been life changing! It is the highlight of my week not only adapting my body externally but internally assisting with chronic pain, mobility and strength! Cannot recommend this studio and Alison enough.
Eddie delivers a thoroughly relaxing and knot busting massage. He immediately knew with just a few touches which side I carry my tension on. He has the ability to use his impressive strength to provide deep relief without being painful or uncomfortable for a second. His hands felt large and were able to cover a lot of surface area at the same time. He incorporated a theragun type machine at various times which loosened the knots he was already working on. The room itself is very comfortable and very clean with a clothes stand, bench, electric fireplace for ambiance and a heated plush table. Eddie himself is very friendly and was easy to setup an appointment with. He offered water before and after the session and checked in throughout the massage on the pressure and just to see if I was relaxed. He also suggested to take a hot epsom bath if I could when I got home…you can tell he really cares about his craft and this isn’t just a gig, it’s his passion. A+

Honestly, would do 6/5 stars if I could. My boyfriend booked a couples massage and facial here for my birthday - truly one of the best massages I have gotten in the city! I had a really great experience. After a lot of travel, I wanted to work out all the knots. I had noticeably less soreness after the massage. Tyler communicates well and is very effective.
The team here is so lovely and sweet. They provide the best amenities and a really relaxing environment. It’s difficult to find that calm space in the middle of Manhattan but we will keep coming back to ZZ spa whenever we can! We absolutely love it here. The perks of champagne, chocolate, soaps and even a rose for the couples massage is so over the top which makes you feel special. You guys are the best!!
I highly recommend Ben for a deep tissue massage. I have a lot of shoulder and neck tightness from exercise and life and he works out the knots like no one else ever has. You can tell he really cares about helping you feel better and gives his all. Everyone should get a massage from Ben!
Once you experience ZZ, everywhere else will seem insignificant. This was an AMAZING experience. The ambiance, the patience, the professionalism, and most of all the treatments (body scrub / 4 hand massage / Swedish massage) for my boyfriend and I was one of the best massages we have ever had. SJ, Nana, Helen, and Hilda are MAGNIFICENT!!!! Do not think about it…book already. This place is AMAZING!!!!!! Will be back over and over.

After a very long week of physical and emotional heavy lifting, I reached the end of my capacity but not the end of my task. As a desperate measure, I searched maps for the nearest massage with good reviews, and fortune smiled on me when I found this amazing Thai massage place just around the corner from my loved one's apartment
It was already evening, but using their easy online booking, I was able to get an appointment for a couple of hours later. It was a few dollars more for an after 8:pm appointment but not too much considering the ask. I arrived at a clean, well-appointed lobby and was greeted by Luna. She gave me water and did a preliminary consultation. She had me circle areas of particular discomfort and sign a standard release. Then Luna led me to one of the private rooms.
Luna was very competent and confident at addressing my issues. She was a wonderful listener with her ears, hands, and intuition and got right to the root of my pain. I have experienced Thai massage in many places by various practitioners, and comparatively, Luna was great. Of course, it was very intense, but I communicated and Luna adjusted when it was more that I could bear. Luna, who studied Muay Thai and sometimes works on athletes, released, readjusted, and stretched just about my whole body in a 90-minute session. After I dressed, she gave me hot ginger tea.
Restored, re-energized, and feeling physically like I was 20 years younger, I was able to complete the task efficiently and with serenity.
I had a combination Thai/Deep Tissue massage with Ivy and she was wonderful! It was the perfect balance of Thai and deep tissue that worked out all of the tension and knots in my body. Ivy made sure that the pressure worked for me and paid attention to my problem areas. The room was lovely and clean and I will definitely be back.

This is such a great practice. I’ve been to lots of PT practices around the city and this one beats them all. Great atmosphere, really lovely team, nice location. For pelvic floor / pregnancy PT specifically I couldn’t recommend Ranjitha Mohan more. She’s extremely knowledgeable, skilled, passionate about her work, understanding, and resourceful and will do everything she can to alleviate issues. She’s been so tremendously helpful during my pregnancy and beyond and was able to resolve most if not all of my issues.
Great and wonderful staff led by Dr. Park. My back and neck pain has almost gone away and I am learning to fix my posture what is being very helpful. Highly recommended center.

I fractured my L radius a few months ago, and even before I got the cast off, I needed to decide where I was going to get physical therapy. Gramercy Physical Therapy is conveniently located to where I work, so it was more likely I'd go there often enough to do the exercises. I was blown away by the level of professionalism and care shown by all the therapists I worked with there. They are all great, caring people--which is why I healed up so well. A range of therapies and exercises were presented, including heat, massage, and targeted exercises. I'm happy I chose Gramercy Physical Therapy!
They got me healthy again so that I could start running! I’m a marathon runner and put a lot of stress on my joints and muscles. Dr Kim is the best PT I could have hoped for, what an incredible office and such great physical therapists!

Dr. Vitaly is hands down the best physical therapist I've been going to in 10 years. He is very knowledgeable and pays attention to your body and what your complaints are about the pain you're experiencing. I've always been very active and I came to see him due to lower back and knee pain that was affecting my ability to play tennis. My condition has improved tremendously with my pain level much lower than when I first started seeing him. He gives you home exercises that you must do in order to see progress with your condition. The best part is that he is a 1-to-1 PT and will give you total attention for the entire session. After trying a few other physical therapists, I have found the one I will stick with because he is simply the best. I'm looking forward to a stronger lower back and posterior chain with all of the knowledge I've gained with Dr. Vitaly.

He has treated me for injuries that have impacted my ability to practice jiu jitsu, with a plan to help me resume the sport. Dr. Phil moved his entire schedule around to help my mother with a back issue, even though he had never met her before. He spoke with me on the phone multiple times and worked with her in the most gentle and understanding way I have ever seen. My mother was terrified to move at all, fearing for her future with the amount of pain she was in, and Dr. Phil swooped in to re-assure her he would be there for her and answer any questions, plus he made her feel like there WAS an end to the pain in sight. Thank you Dr. Phil! You probably got 4 new patients today... my whole family. haha.

I came to Ease Acupuncture to try the acupuncture + lipo laser treatment, and I’m so glad I did! I was looking to get some help jumpstarting my metabolism, which has slowed as I’ve entered my 40s.
Dr. Wang is excellent, and helped me with more than what I originally came for. Whether it was a headache from flying or a persistent cough I had trouble getting rid of, Dr. Wang adapted his use of needles to get me feeling better. He’s also very calm, friendly and tries to give you what you need.
I noticed other effects from the acupuncture as well, I felt more energized, pain in my legs eased, and sleep got a little better, etc. so I brought some friends and family in with a variety of issues, and they all left feeling better by the end of their time at Ease.
They didn’t take my insurance, but they do offer specials/ packages that I could afford. But they do happily accept insurance coverage if you have it.

Great experience taking a two hour refresher lesson with Morris; he was patient and knowledgeable, teaching me some new things, and allowing for exactly the type of practice I wanted.
I 100% recommend Revolution Driving School! They have multiple convenient locations for driving lessons. The school can also schedule your road test, and there's a good chance you'll be able to use the same car you practiced in for the test, which is a huge advantage. Communication with the school is primarily done through email or text, which worked well for me. If the phone isn't answered, don't be upset; they will respond to your email promptly. If you're fortunate, your instructor will be Waleed (I took lessons in the Upper East Side). Waleed is very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He provides helpful feedback during lessons. We connected well from my first lesson. The whole driving experience was fun and enjoyable. Right before my road test, Waleed showed me a different technique for parallel parking that finally clicked for me! I used his method, and my parking was spot on an hour later during the test. Acropolis was wonderful to me throughout the 15 lesson experience spread out over several weeks, and worked with me to find a schedule that fit mine, which I really appreciated. They're punctual, clear, confirm your appointments over text the day before, and the instructors are to the point and inform you about what will work and what won't on the test (shoutout Marlene she's the GOAT). I passed the test on my first try and Acropolis really prepared me well for it -- I owe them a lot. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!
Everlina is an amazing instructor/fairy driving auntie, and I couldn’t have imagined or hoped any better to do this journey with anyone else. Her joy and humor are infectious. She is calm, patient, mindful of your needs, and will redirect you in a gentle way. Everlina has experience working with people of all ages and abilities, including those with anxiety. She really goes above and beyond for her students young and old. Doing the lessons with her also started to help break down my habit of being incredibly hard on myself and to not stay in a bad moment in order to spiral. You also don’t just gain an instructor, you gain a friend and I will be sure to keep in touch with her in the future!

He takes the time to ensure you feel confident behind the wheel. Carrie who takes care of logistics is also amazing at what she does. I had a fantastic experience with Perfect Park Driving School. After not driving for over a decade, I needed to quickly refresh my skills for a new local license. They scheduled back-to-back lessons with excellent instructors, and just two weeks later, I passed my test. This school is top-notch. I am a driver for 28 years in my country, and need to get a NY driver license, if I use my own instinct to do parallel parking, I can park the car within one foot from the curb (the test requirement), and immediately behind the car in front of mine (very useful skill for narrow space on the streets) probably only 7 out of 10 times, but I can do it beautifully 10 out of 10 using Mr. Chen's tips! And he knows every details of the Red Hook (Brooklyn) road test site and will give you all the hints that make you feel confident in the test. Besides, Paly is a very enthusiastic receptionist at the school office, she answered my questions very patiently and assisted me in every aspect of this journey according to my requests. I really appreciated her help!
I took the pre license course 5 hour class and it was amazing. Mr. Griffith is very informative and taught the class well. I feel so prepared for a road test now. Thank you so much! Very professional. The fact there is an option for 3 different mailing varieties is nice. I picked Certified Mail Overnight and I can’t wait to see it! :) I recommend you guys to anyone who needs to take the pre license course.
