Prior visits to another veterinary clinic had not been able to address the problem, but Dr. Datner was able to identify and treat the problem within one visit. He is very thorough, thoughtful and systematic in his approach to treating his patients. If I had waited for a veterinarian ophthalmologist, I am not sure my dog would have healed. I highly recommend Dr. Datner.“

“As a local veterinarian, I can tell you that Dr. Blauvelt sincerely cares about his patients and does his best to provide the best care possible, for both the patient and the owner. He is a warm, caring veterinarian who goes above and beyond for his clients. When you see reviews that he is in it for the $ - these people are sorely mistaken. Vet care is expensive. Overhead is extremely costly for vet practices. Dr. Blauvelt doesn't charge more than other practices in the area, in fact his costs are quite reasonable. Have you ever seen explanations of benefits from insurance companies? Medical care is super expensive, but people do not realize because of health insurance. Dr. Blauvelt is wonderful and your pet would be lucky to have him as their vet.“

“I have nothing but great things to say about East Meadow Vet Center. Dr. Olcha is professional, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The office is clean and the staff are welcoming and friendly.We took our dog here for the first time after our prior vet was dismissive of our concerns. When we told Dr. Olcha what was happening with our dog, he suggested blood work (which we did) and told us he’d give us a call on Monday with the results. He ended up contacting us the next morning saying that our dog’s blood work results were life-threatening and that we should take her to the emergency vet asap.We are extremely grateful for this vet center having same-day availability, and for Dr. Olcha’s accurate course of action, overall knowledge, and prompt communication. “Brought my maltipoo here for an emergency visit. They were kind, caring and accommodating throughout the process. The receptionist on the phone was kind, took the necessary information and was able to provide a sme day appointment. Once I got there the facility was clean, the front desk was efficient, and all of the staff were great. My pup and I had a great experience and would come back for a regular visit as well as an emergency (if needed although I hope not lol)“

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at this location; they are warm, loving, and provide excellent care for my dog. Following a sick visit, they always reach out to check on my dog and see how she's doing. Plus, they offer advice for at-home care in lieu of a visit whenever possible. They are kind, clear, responsive, and so helpful. My dog loves to hang out with them, whether not feeling well, getting vaccinated, or getting a checkup. “Dr Mario Vezza and his team are great. Our first experience was when our Mini Goldendoodle ate something poisonous in the evening a few weeks back and the doctor walked us through what to do over the phone in advance of bringing her in the next day. It was the best experience at a very difficult moment. This past week we brought our cat in to have what we thought was a cyst removed. It turned out to be a tumor. I asked a lot of questions which he answered and was transparent when I inquired about the cost and effort that would be put in. He also removed teeth that had become infected and brought to our attention a thyroid issue that she has. She is now doing better and on thyroid medicine. I am so happy that we brought her there.“

“We recently brought our feral cat because we suspected a massive eye infection and dental infection. About an hour later, Dr. Kolbert called to inform us that it appears Mama had a massive tumor and there was extensive damage to her gums and jaw, as well as the eye. I asked if he would wait for us to travel back from Queens so we could be with her when she was put down - Mama was our feral for over 12 years and a part of our family. He kindly waited and explained everything to my husband and me when we arrived. His staff was very kind and offered condolences. I am happy that I took Mama to a place that did not treat her like a feral that didn't matter. She did matter, and I appreciated that. Also, Dr. Kolbert could've done all the procedures and charged us before telling us of her grave condition.
