“Tasha was the only one working the day I went. She was very friendly and said hello as soon as I walked in the door. She was on time. I loved the little consultation we had before she shampooed my hair. I showed her my Pinterest pictures of the haircuts I was interested in. She seemed to understand what I wanted. I think she did a nice haircut for her first time with me. I know it's not always easy to get the results both the hairdresser and customer are expecting. Sometimes it takes a couple of visits before it's just right. And I have to mention her sweet well mannered chihuahua Sadie. She's was so adorable. Tasha adopted her from a rescue.“
“Had my first laser session with Mary yesterday, and I cannot say enough good things about it. Located in the New Hartford Shopping Center, the first impression you get when you walk in to the waiting room is very calm, clean, posh business. It's tastefully decorated - Mary also shares the space with Sandy, who does nails, spray tans, etc. Mary went over all of the paperwork and disclaimers of having the procedure. She tested a patch on my arm with her laser just to make sure I was comfortable before we proceeded (I ended up having my legs and underarms treated). Mary was test-driving a new laser, not her regular one, so my experience may be a bit different from others, but the laser was SO COMFORTABLE, there was barely any snapping on my skin. First, Mary smooths on some sonogram gel to the area she's treating, and then goes over with the laser. The laser gets a little warm, but the sensation isn't unpleasant. I've had laser in the past, and it was painful, to the point where at times I suffered burns on my skin. I was shocked at how painless this was. The whole process, full legs and underarms, took about an hour, although it seemed faster. I paid $250 for the session, although it will fluctuate depending on the amount of hair you have and the number of treatments you need, and what areas you are having treated. I thought Mary's prices were fair and reasonable, and I will definitely be back.“

“I am visiting NY from out of town and needed a fill. I googled a lot of places all with mixed reviews. I chose TQ Nails and spa and made an appointment for 10 am today. I was greeted and signed in as soon as I arrived and was sat with Derek. His station was very clean as well as the whole business its self. He was very nice and listened to what I needed done, especially with keeping my nails on the shorter side due to work. I showed him a picture of valentines themed nails and he said he was able to do it for me. Not only did he take his time, and listen but he did an AMAZING JOB!! They look just like the photo, anytime I’m back in town and need a fill or color change this will be my go to place for sure. Staff was very friendly and helpful!!“
