My mother had a hysterectomy here and thank god for the wonderful woman who is her doctor. However the treatment of my mother by PACU nurse and the communication to me was HORRIBLE. No one came out to me to give me any update on my mother. I managed to stop her doctor who was surprised by this notion nonetheless she “tried” to take me to her in the PACU. The nurse there immediately started screaming at me and the doctor to get out. I explained to her that no one had updated me on anything I just wanted to make sure she was okay. I visit this place lastNight around 12:30 the stuff in front desk so unprofessional. The guy who helped me was on his phone and having a very nice conversation with another to co-workers laughing while I was with a lot of pain and bleeding!!! They didn’t do anything to help me. How can an emergency room be like that. I ended leaving to another place cuz they didn’t care my pain.

donot go to mount vernon hospital!!!!! my child was brought there mental health help and first of all they dont listen to the parents when your trying to tell them that your child is special needs and is a serizer patient!! also when the phycstrist was going to eveluate her he said he couldnt because she was all excited which she wasnt he asked my permission to give her bendadryl which i said ok to nothing else which i found out he gave her benadryl and ativan!!! i never gave permission for that!! i found out because my daughter told me at pick up time that the nurse gave her 2 injections i said two so i question the doctor what was the second medication he told me ativan...read full review
