“I wish I had called them sooner! I had family staying with me and the dryer was getting used more than usual, and clothes were still damp after a drying cycle. I spoke to Robin and she scheduled me for the next day. I’m glad I called when I did, as they found tons of lint in the unit and vent that hadn’t been cleaned in 8 years! I thought emptying the lint trap was sufficient, but the technician recommended having this cleaning done every 2 years for the safety and longevity of the house and unit.

While on the phone, I asked if I should have my HVAC vents cleaned as well. Robin walked me through a quick initial cleanliness check and assessed that duct cleaning wasn’t needed at this time. I greatly appreciated her honesty and will continue to use Royal Vent going forward!“

“We’ve been happy customers for over two years and we only wish we had discovered them sooner. The previous company had misdiagnosed an issue that led to numerous costly breakdowns and repairs. We had heard good things about Proactive Home Services so we gave them a try and they were able to fix the problem (this time for good!) at an extremely reasonable rate. Because they were so friendly, professional, and affordable, we signed up for their maintenance program. Twice a year an extremely knowledgeable serviceman (big shout out to Ted!) will come run a diagnostics on our system. Even though we’ve come to know him, Proactive still sends us a picture of him before the appointment. We very much appreciate that level of safety. We haven’t had a single issue with our system in those two years, which is a huge departure of the previous few years. That being said, even though everything runs perfectly, we keep the maintenance checkup service because it’s so reasonably priced and provides a level of security knowing that any future issues will be resolved. We can’t say enough nice things about this company. They are always extremely responsive, setting up appointments is easy, and they are *GASP* always on time. “Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value 7/2013 They installed a Reem 3.5 Ton Variable Speed system with Electric Heat Back Up and a Hepa Filtration Unit. They customized the system return so it doubled as an Air Return and also allowed Entry into the attic to service the Evaporator System. The crew was very professional, clean and knowledgeable. The A/C Trunks and Vents were strategically placed allowing both walk around accessible in the attics and proper cooling throughout my House. The owner Andy Haugen had made this transition very comfortable for us, from contract to completion. Over the past 7 years I've needed only two service calls from them and they were quick to respond and correct the issues. I would and have highly recommended them for both Installations and Service to friends and neighbors. Trust and Comfortably is how I describe Haugen Bros.“
