“It is rare to walk into a medical facility (animal or human) and truly feel that you are in capable, caring and compassionate hands. I found those attributes here at Long Island Animal Hospital with Dr. Krawczyk and his staff. We have been working with Dr. K for many years now and cannot express our appreciation for him and the staff at Long Island Animal Hospital enough. Dr. K and the staff are warm, compassionate, courteous, and professional. Beyond, Dr. K's veterinary knowledge, he has incredible bed-side manners. Our dog had a number of heath issues and Dr. K took care of her and us throughout the medications, procedures and more. When the dreaded moment of having to put our dog down came, Dr. K ensured the process was humane, gentle, compassionate and peaceful. It is difficult to express in words the appreciation we have for Dr. K and the staff at LI Animal Hospital for the time, compassion, communication and care of our beloved dog. Thank you, thank you!“
“Brought my maltipoo here for an emergency visit. They were kind, caring and accommodating throughout the process. The receptionist on the phone was kind, took the necessary information and was able to provide a sme day appointment. Once I got there the facility was clean, the front desk was efficient, and all of the staff were great. My pup and I had a great experience and would come back for a regular visit as well as an emergency (if needed although I hope not lol)“
“As an owner of 2 dogs (and many others throughout my life), I've navigated numerous veterinary clinics across Queens, including the highest rated ones. Yet, none have quite matched the exceptional expertise and care offered at Petopia. Since bringing my first puppy in 2008, I've entrusted them with all my dogs and never looked back. As a healthcare worker, I'm too familiar with the medical model providers (for both humans and animals) practice. One of the standout features of Petopia is their holistic and integrative approach to veterinary care. Unlike many other clinics that tend to overdiagnose and overtreat, often resulting in unnecessary procedures/medications and hefty medical bills, Petopia considers the psychological, behavioral, and environmental aspects that contribute to my dogs' overall health. This also means the vet actually takes time listening to every one of your concerns, and explaining his assessment and suggested course of treatment in language you understand. The vet's patience, and thoughtful consideration of all factors always leads to more precise diagnoses and targeted treatments. What truly sets Petopia apart is the vet's additional specialization in Eastern medicine. This allows them to offer natural yet effective options for treatment without unnecessary side effects or expenses. Thanks to Petopia's compassionate care and commitment to holistic health, my dogs are thriving at ages 15 and 8. Not only are they happier and healthier, but the reduction in medical expenses (we all know how costly they are for pets without health insurance) has been significant. For any pet owner seeking a veterinary clinic that goes above and beyond traditional practices but don't want to break their bank, I wholeheartedly recommend Petopia.“
“I have been a client of Middletown Animal Clinic for years, since they opened. From my frequent experience with the people at the clinic, I noticed that Dr Earle, and Dr A are kind and knowledgeable Doctors. The kindest staff members are Nancy and Regina, the office manager. Justine has also shown kindness and respect towards my animals and myself.“
“I am very pleasantly surprised and happy I found Garden City Veterinary Care. I was transitioning from my old veterinarian to find a new one after 7 years with them. Main reasons is because my old veterinarian clinic quality of care started declining and prices were substantially increasing. Like any good pet parent, you look for a veterinarian that gives the same care as if it was their own pet. Honest and fair prices. I found this in Garden City veterinary care especially with Dr. Elizabeth Stietzle and the team there. My fur baby had her first dental cleaning there. They explained to me what it entailed and were transparent with the prices. Dr. Stietzle also kept in touch with me before and after the procedure. I found my fur baby's forever doctor!“
“I recently said goodbye to Jade after 15 + years. The entire staff on the day of my last goodbye supported me with so much patience, understanding, and love.Thank you all ?for the beautiful heartfelt handwritten condolence card I received from you all in the mail.“
“Excellent veterinarian. Dr Roopnarine and his assistant are excellent human beings. Very knowledgable.“
“I took my dog t and a veterinarian hospital and he seen the vet Dr. longo she is amazing. I loved her and my dog seem to like her very much. I'm so happy that I found this vet now. Thank you for taking good care of my pet.“
“Dr. Saslow and his staff are the best! Thank you for always taking care of our baby. Our appointments are always on time, we always feel listened too, and our pup loves all the treats!“
“He is an absolutely fantastic doctor. He listens to your concerns and helps you understand your pet. Not only did he squeezed us in so he can see my cat he was very kind and such a sweetheart of a veterinarian. I highly recommend Dr. Penson and his prices are completely fair which I am more than thankful for because in todays economy money is tight, so he is completely fair with his prices and he is beyond knowledgeable. Again I would highly recommend him to anyone“
“Dr Kim, you are an amazing, caring man. Thank you for all you do and all you have done over the years. Thank you for your compassion for the animals that come to you. You have always made my difficult visits a little easier giving each one love and dignity..You are such a blessing and a true asset to the veterinary field. I feel very blessed to be able to turn to you and knowing all animals that come through you office are in such good hands.??“
“Always receive timely service and visit follow-ups. Dr could be a little friendlier but staff is awesome.“
“Dr Tell is an amazing vet. He is knowledgable and gets right to the point. He has always made me and my dogs comfortable. I really appreciate his honesty and sense of humor. I can't recommend him enough. Any glitches in the beginning have been worked out and I find his staff very helpful.“
“I have been taking my pets to the amazing Dr. Giordano for 40 years! His extraordinary knowledge, expertise, coupled with his loving care of animals, he’s truly an inspiration. Such a wonderful dedicated veterinarian, along with his fantastic assistant Javier! We feel so lucky that our fur kids get such great care!!“
“Dr. Jurgens and Ariel are wonderful, they really love their pet patients and their families. They treat us like family and take the time to explain things. I would recommend them to anybody.“
“Crawford Animal Hospital is a great vet. I have taken my Dachshund Duke to Crawford since he was just a puppy and have always had great experiences with them. We normally see Dr. Gary and he is gentle, kind, and compassionate. We have seen the other providers as well from time to time and everyone is great there. You can tell they really do care for the animals. Dr. Gary is very attentive and listens to my concerns and goals for my dogs care. When we board Duke I am able to call and check up on him and get thorough updates. So happy I found Crawford since i haven't had the best experiences with some Veterinarians with my last dog.“
“I just met her yesterday, what a lovely compassionate person. She called me back in a timely matter, very professional and knowledgeable.Had to find someone like this in today's world of new Vets!“
“Several months ago, my 12 year old Lab had severe discoloration around her right eye along with significant discomfort. Prior visits to another veterinary clinic had not been able to address the problem, but Dr. Datner was able to identify and treat the problem within one visit. He is very thorough, thoughtful and systematic in his approach to treating his patients. If I had waited for a veterinarian ophthalmologist, I am not sure my dog would have healed. I highly recommend Dr. Datner.“
“My cat Luka started having serious problems and I took him to West Hempstead Animal Hospital where his care has always been top notch. The staff are helpful, friendly knowledgeable and caring. Even though he did not like being there at all, I always felt that he was in the best care.He started deteriorating quickly. Every time I called about something serious that was happening with Luka, I was given an appointment immediately. The doctors and technicians took time to examine him and explain every detail of what they were doing. I felt confident that he would be alright.Unfortunately after a rough week of tests and bloodwork we found out that he had inoperable cancer and there was nothing the doctors could do to prolong his life and/or make him comfortable. I was able to bring him home for one more day so our family could spend time with him.We brought him back the next evening when the hospital was empty where we were all treated with such compassion and dignity, especially our beloved Luka. He closed his beautiful eyes one last time with his family around him and I know he felt our love. As hard as it was for all of us I feel that Dr. Cutler and the staff made it a little easier to say goodbye. Thanks to all of you who helped Luka, and us, on this difficult and heartfelt journey. This was a previous review before Luka became very ill.:Wonderful care for my pet! It was evident that everyone cared about my cat, Luka. He was treated so well, and everyone was very understanding. The doctors took their time explaining in detail what was going on with him as well as giving me feeding instructions and advice about what new changes I should make at home. I left feeling educated and knowing exactly what my cat needs to be happy and healthy!“
“Dr Vic took care of my sweet Shea dog. He was extremely thorough in his exams. I really appreciate the compassion he showed our family and Shea.“
“Really great staff and Veterinarian. Not sure if it was just the day I went but it was all ladies on staff and it was just a very nurturing environment which is so comforting when your pet is struggling with something and nervous about the visit. Great experience all around and we left with tails wagging!“
“We recently brought our feral cat because we suspected a massive eye infection and dental infection. About an hour later, Dr. Kolbert called to inform us that it appears Mama had a massive tumor and there was extensive damage to her gums and jaw, as well as the eye. I asked if he would wait for us to travel back from Queens so we could be with her when she was put down - Mama was our feral for over 12 years and a part of our family. He kindly waited and explained everything to my husband and me when we arrived. His staff was very kind and offered condolences. I am happy that I took Mama to a place that did not treat her like a feral that didn't matter. She did matter, and I appreciated that. Also, Dr. Kolbert could've done all the procedures and charged us before telling us of her grave condition. I find him to be very honest, and we will return to Glen Cove Animal Clinic.Picture: Mama with her kitten in 2011 who became our indoor cat and passed away just weeks before his mom.“
“Dr Mario Vezza and his team are great. Our first experience was when our Mini Goldendoodle ate something poisonous in the evening a few weeks back and the doctor walked us through what to do over the phone in advance of bringing her in the next day. It was the best experience at a very difficult moment. This past week we brought our cat in to have what we thought was a cyst removed. It turned out to be a tumor. I asked a lot of questions which he answered and was transparent when I inquired about the cost and effort that would be put in. He also removed teeth that had become infected and brought to our attention a thyroid issue that she has. She is now doing better and on thyroid medicine. I am so happy that we brought her there.“
“I have been going to Dr Perez for 20 years with both my cats and my dogs. He is straight forward and honest and although vetting can be so expensive, he is reasonable and keeps costs down wherever he can. He also prefers to be Old School rather than order batteries of tests and medications and has an excellent intuition and feel for diagnostics rather than relying on machines and labs. I trust him and my pets always take well to him because he is very gentle and has such a warm bedside manner. Jimmy his assistant is also awesome, what a sweetheart and asset to this place.“
“My cat began having difficulty with her left eye and so I took her to Veterinarian, Dr Hendrickson, at Manhasset Animal Hospital. Dr. Hendrickson diagnosed her problem and began a regimen of therapy. He kept her at his facility, and he and his competent staff administered meds to her throughout the days. She began to heal, slowly, and she will require further treatment but due to Dr Henderson’s knowledge, diligence, and compassion as well as his staff’s care and compassion, my cat Aggie continues to heal and I am grateful for that.“
