“Unlike other places this is not a "barber shop" type of operation. This is a stand alone studio. I made an appointment for a session, and I was the only person in the studio. No multiple artists with many people milling around. Just one on one service. No loud blaring music. Just nice soothing sounds to calm you and project a peaceful environment. The studio is clean, you must remove your street shoes and bring clean footwear to enter. I was shown EVERY needle in a factory wrapped package and the expiration dates as well. Taino changed gloves whenever he paused his work just to keep everything sanitary. I'm not your typical tattoo person. I'm 60 years plus of age and I had my 1st tattoo at age 60. With this in mind Taino spent a decent amount of time showing me my" tattoo vision" on his iPad. Very Very patiient and very informative as to my different options. It made me feel confident in my final decisions. As for the actual work, the artwork was beyond expectations. In fact, I wanted color but now leaning toward just B&W it is that good.. So that I am 100% satisfied I was advised to take my time and think over my color options. Another session was booked ( no additional charge) at a later date to see if I want to add, enhance or keep same color to the tattoo. The complete process was done in a professional and customer service like manner. Everything was explained and no question was deemed to be dumb. His wife Martha assisted with the booking and my initial questions. In a nutshell, I was treated like family, the end product is beyond expectations, cleanliness is a top priority and my experience compared to my other is much much better.“

“Came across this studio by happenstance and it was one of the best things that's happened. I was on a trip in NY in January in the freezing cold, ended up walking through ice and snow to find Stevie and Nel standing outside. They welcomed me in and really made me feel like family immediately, and Nel's work was killer. Had such a good time that I came back again a month ago with my wife during an anniversary trip and we were both able to get more work from the crew, this time Stevie and Johnny. I love American Traditional and this studio is full of that, as well as incredibly talented artists who specialize in that style. Always fun and laughs to be had here. Hilarious and SOLID people.
