Today was my first visit here. I was referred by a client and decided to take a chance even after reading the non favorable reviews. When I first walked in I asked about doing a wash and set with braids and there was a misunderstanding around what they offered.

The woman who washed my hair was polite but didn’t speak much English, so our interactions were mostly smiles and her checking in to see if I was okay. I’m use to rough hands as I’m a child of immigrant parents, this was no surprise for me and I personally didn’t mind it.

I did not have a good experience here.
I have long natural hair, the older bigger lady with the short hair was so rough, pulling my hair at the shampoo bowl and catching attitudes with me. She has very rough hands overall. I felt like my scalp was sore after the service. She put the color washed my hair and expected me to leave without her even detangling my hair. I then started to do it myself when the other hairstylist who was very nice came and detangled my hair and helped me out.

I came for a color service, that’s it no blow no style, they charged me $80 when at first I could have sworn the lady said $60.

they are not friendly, the hair washer is rude , when she washes your hair shes very heavy handed and gets very mad if you tell her shes doing it too hard. They are friendly to their own kind only. The blow outside are good , customer service is bad so I stopped giving them my business, since it's not appreciated.
