Alterations Review - The woman who does the alterations, J, is absolutely phenomenal. She is very understanding and patient, paying attention to exactly what I asked. She was able to completely fit me into a vintage wedding dress I bought for my city hall wedding for under $180 (including the cleaning) when a bridal seamstress wanted to charge me $1600. She turned it around in a week and it looked flawless.
I had a second wedding dress that was new from Anthropology weddings. I had it hemmed at a bridal seamstress and they kept arguing with me about tightening the neck and a few other areas. I took it to J and she knew exactly what I was talking about. It looks...read full review

Unit Cleaners has been my go-to spot for dry cleaning and alterations since 2006. They’re always meticulous with my clothing, whether they’re cleaning a delicate piece or hemming an expensive cocktail dress. I spend a lot of my time on the West Coast now, but I still bring my most prized pieces of clothing to Unit cleaners when I’m back east.
