I walked here a few feet away from the one on 78th after he became rude. So i went to this laundromat. The lady here, with he limited command of the English language was nice and affable. She explained and helped me get my card and explained, even if I can very well navigate around. She was polite and nice, exactly what a service business should be. The reasons it is 4 is that no wifi, to which the lady apologized, and no bathroom. Hello owner, please try to provide these 2 basics. And maybe sweep the floor every hour?

I had shoulder surgery and was looking for a laundry in the neighborhood that could pick up and deliver. This laundry is my laundry now. I am very happy with their service. Very nice staff also. Kayla is very nice and informative. The prices I find them to be reasonable and affordable. I am happy I have found this laundry.

[Before Covid under Old Management 1993-2010] I had some mixed experiences here during the 21 years I lived in Jackson Heights before the new management took over (and new renovations). My family and I use this laundromat (it's across the street from the Post Office and up the block from our house) for beddings, winter coats and such. We have a small washing machine at home but only come for big loads/heavy laundry for wash & dry. There were a few times I heard racist remarks but ignored it as we were minding our own business (I would come do laundry or help my mom with the family's laundry). My mom wouldn't know they were speaking about us unless they were very rude to us (she knows limited English) if they were to snatch machines or hogged them or something. During my early college year 2006-2009, coming home on breaks doing laundry I had encountered some bad attitudes. I would do laundry outside instead of at home to not bother my mom or use their water/electric or disrupted their own laundry schedule. In my family, we wash only and hang-dry all of our laundry except the large beddings. Our laundry would hang dry in the boiler room as it was spacious and would dry quickly overnight. I remember during Spring Break 2008, I wanted to wash my bedding & pillow from home (my mom didn't get to wash it for me when I got home) and my clothes from college dorming; I had a bad experience. A lady came by to stop me from feeding more money into the machine to get quarters. She said, "you can only get change for $3" after I already feed $1 into the machine. I don't even know for sure if she worked there as no staff have uniforms. All washer and dryers would need more than $3 to do laundry; the smallest load washers at the time was at least $1.75 and to dry it was 8min per quarter. Who can do all of their laundry with $3 of quarters? I was upset that she singled me out so I got my changed of $3, grab my stuff out of the washer and went out 4 blocks away to another laundromat. Came back another time 2009-2010 and it was fine, the ladies left me alone. It not like I could even understand the ladies as they just gossiped in Spanish all the time but I do see the glares. I would only understand a few words. But they left me alone for the most part. After college, I moved away to Brooklyn in summer of 2010 and didn't come back here until covid-19 when visiting my parents. ************ [June 28, 2020]- NEW MANAGEMENT Came to do laundry while I was visiting my mom to learn some traditional cultural food dish. We were having some mother-daughter bonding time over making food. I would leave occasionally to check on the laundry. They have undergone new renovations so it is more spacious (not as narrow) with all new/updated machines. New management perhaps? New name and new machines. They even upgraded to card instead of quarters- great if you don't have coins and you can use your credit card to add money to the card. They even have WiFi! Omg. Everything looks new and shiny and clean!
