“To Albany Mechanical Services Inc. Management:

Our Navien tankless hot water heater was in need of repair. I contacted Albany Mechanical Services and they dispatched a technician right away. The technician (Zach) arrived at our home and he immediately investigated the problem. He found that I needed a new heat exchanger which he replaced along with a new igniter. However, another issue with the unit persisted where he consulted with Tech Support at Navien. It was at this point I felt confident that Zach was going to get to the bottom of the issue and take the necessary steps to solve the problem. Zach was extremely knowledgeable, methodical and patient. He kept me informed every step of the way. Although it was somewhat frustrating in determining what the cause of the problem was, Zach kept at it until he found the answer. As it turned out, he replaced the computer board, the adjustment valve and installed a new wiring harness. If it wasn't for him, we would likely be looking at installing a new unit at considerable cost. Instead, he extended the life of our unit which is now functioning extremely well. I wanted to take a minute to thank Zach, his manager and the other technicians who were here to help get our unit back on line.

“When our boiler stopped working we didn't have a company due to new ownership and the boiler was installed by the previous owner.
So I did a search and A. Johnson's site popped up. I went to their site, read all the reviews and called them.
Best decision I ever made!
When I called, Lisa took all my information and and scheduled a site visit for that day.
When Brian arrived he immediately started checking every component on our ancient boiler and advised us that it was time for major repairs and or replacement.
He took several photos of inner core and the amount of rust and the number of small holes were alarming.
The very next day Chris came and advised us of our options. There was no pressure or attempts to up-sell or add on things that weren't needed.
We settled on a replacement boiler and install was scheduled for four days later .
On install day Brandon, Ben, and Zach worked 9 hours on the removal of the old boiler and install of the new one. Because it was a high effort boiler it required a few extra things that the old didn't have.
They did an amazing job!
Removed the old boiler and all the packaging and the debris from the new boiler.
I would highly recommend A. Johnson for any new installs and repairs of current ones!

“I have had Crisafulli over several times since my last review in 2018... twice for the main house trap needing to be unclogged; once to have the old cast iron house trap replaced with smooth PVC; and once to have our main line inspected. While usually I am at my worst when these emergencies come up, Crisafulli is always at their best. They fixed our boiler and got my family and I heat on a very cold winter day, were personable and professional. “This review is about the excellent customer service that I received when I stopped by the store today. I was looking for a retro refrigerator that I saw online and couldn't find at my local store. In fact, my local store told me that there were none at any Home Depot stores. I decided to stop by the Latham store anyway. There were 2 display models for sale. Zack helped me with the fridge. He dusted it down and when I realized that the second model looked better (from the front), but was missing the handles, Zack and another employee, got out their tools, took the handles off of one and screwed them on to the other. When we pulled the second one out we realized that it was badly dented in the back. I apologized to Zack for doing all of that work for nothing and he let me know that it wasn't a problem. That is what he was there for. He then proceeded to call around to see if other stores had what I was looking for and he found exactly what I was looking for at another Home Depot.
