837 Carman Ave, Westbury“As a local veterinarian, I can tell you that Dr. Blauvelt sincerely cares about his patients and does his best to provide the best care possible, for both the patient and the owner. He is a warm, caring veterinarian who goes above and beyond for his clients. When you see reviews that he is in it for the $ - these people are sorely mistaken. Vet care is expensive. Overhead is extremely costly for vet practices. Dr. Blauvelt doesn't charge more than other practices in the area, in fact his costs are quite reasonable. Have you ever seen explanations of benefits from insurance companies? Medical care is super expensive, but people do not realize because of health insurance. Dr. Blauvelt is wonderful and your pet would be lucky to have him as their vet.“

We originally went to a cat specialist vet for our new pet but didn’t love the experience so decided to bring her to Dr Rana as well! we trust his opinion and his staff is really friendly and responsive when we call with any questions.“

I found those attributes here at Long Island Animal Hospital with Dr. Krawczyk and his staff. We have been working with Dr. K for many years now and cannot express our appreciation for him and the staff at Long Island Animal Hospital enough. Dr. K and the staff are warm, compassionate, courteous, and professional. Beyond, Dr. K's veterinary knowledge, he has incredible bed-side manners. Our dog had a number of heath issues and Dr. K took care of her and us throughout the medications, procedures and more. When the dreaded moment of having to put our dog down came, Dr. K ensured the process was humane, gentle, compassionate and peaceful. It is difficult to express in words the appreciation we have for Dr. K and the staff at LI Animal Hospital for the time, compassion, communication and care of our beloved dog. Thank you, thank you!“

Dr Tell never suggests unnecessary visits, tests and treatments to make an extra buck, which I really appreciate (my previous vet was the opposite). He is also marvelous with dogs. My Teddy is always happy to see Dr Tell. I’m so grateful to this practice for taking such exceptional care of us. My dogs are in great hands.“

Dr. Hajdu is the embodiment of kindness, integrity and care. I have yet to leave his office without being inspired to be a better human being myself. He has been there for me and my 5 dogs through it all and has guided me through everything from knowing when it is time to let them go to welcoming new puppies. Dr. Hajdu brings dignity, grace and an incredibly knowledgeable and keen instinct to every visit and usually finishes off a conversation with a witty joke and existential sense of humor normally reserved only for the incredibly bright. To say a visit to his office is a breath of fresh air would be a gross understatement. I pray he stays in practice well into his retirement years because I cannot think of ever finding anyone better, or even close. I feel very lucky to have had the blessing of knowing Dr. Hajdu as a person and am deeply grateful my dogs get the absolute best care possible.“

Prior visits to another veterinary clinic had not been able to address the problem, but Dr. Datner was able to identify and treat the problem within one visit. He is very thorough, thoughtful and systematic in his approach to treating his patients. If I had waited for a veterinarian ophthalmologist, I am not sure my dog would have healed. I highly recommend Dr. Datner.“

1621 Harrison Ave, Mamaroneck“I recently had the privilege of entrusting my beloved companion, Scout, to the care of Dr. Hall, and I must say, the experience has been nothing short of exceptional.
From the moment I reached out to Dr. Hall, I was met with a level of compassion and professionalism that truly set her apart. Her dedication to her patients knows no bounds, as evidenced by her willingness to provide her personal cellphone number for emergencies or questions, regardless of the hour. Whether it was late at night or early in the morning, Dr. Hall was always there to alleviate my concerns and provide invaluable guidance.
Dr. Hall's expertise and diagnostic prowess are truly remarkable. She navigated through Scout's numerous health challenges with precision and care, leaving no stone unturned in her quest to ensure his well-being. Her ability to blend medical acumen with genuine empathy made all the difference during what could have been a daunting and stressful time.
What truly struck me about Dr. Hall was her unwavering commitment to her patients' welfare. When Scout was in dire need of attention, Dr. Hall graciously accommodated us without hesitation, even though we were not yet established as clients. Her kindness and understanding in our time of need were nothing short of extraordinary.
In addition to her professional competence, Dr. Hall exudes warmth and approachability. Her friendly demeanor instantly puts both pets and their owners at ease, fostering a sense of trust and rapport that is invaluable in veterinary care.
In sum, Dr. Hall embodies everything one could hope for in a veterinarian and more. Her dedication, expertise, and compassion make her a true asset to the veterinary community, and I am immensely grateful to have her as Scout's trusted caregiver. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Hall to anyone seeking the highest standard of care for their furry family members.“

207 Hillside Ave., Williston Park“I cannot recommend Dr Hardoon enough! The whole staff is so caring, understanding, and my dog had a wonderful surgical outcome thanks to their care. I came to Williston Park for an alternative spay with a preventative gastropexy and xrays of her joints. Dr Hardoon is one of the only vets on LI that is experienced in the OSS procedure and can do OFA positioned xrays. She was very supportive of my request for an ovary sparing spay and was happy to answer all my questions since this would be my first time with a dog having this procedure. I was offered many different surgical approaches, their cost/ benefit analysis, and I was allowed to make the ultimate decision. We elected to remove her uterus, her cervix, and one of her ovaries. We left her left ovary to preserve her reproductive hormones, but that ovary was chosen since it is easier to find if she should ever need it removed in her future. Dr Hardoon went over her personal experience with this procedure in terms of long term health of large breed dogs, as well as what published research was showing. I felt well educated and happy with my choice after our initial consult. She even went so far as to warn me what the post op experience would be like so I could prepare my house for my dog's 2 week rest. I was so happy to be at an office that supported my desire for the procedure, as well as their full support of me feeding my dogs raw. When I came in for the procedure the entire office was so welcoming. They sprayed calming pheromones to help my dog relax, played relaxing music, and gave us a room for the initial sedatives to take effect before taking my dog to the back. I was so impressed with the care they took to ensure my dog went under anesthesia with the least stress possible. After I left the staff was great with communication. They knew I had traveled for the surgery so they made sure to tell me how long it would take and where I could wait peacefully. When my dog was out of surgery Dr Hardoon called me personally to give me a brief on how the surgery went and when I could anticipate her being awake. The team knew my dog was large and I would not be able to carry her to my car, so they held her for me until she was awake enough to walk. I was very happy with the pain control offered by Dr Hardoon, which is a very important component for me personally. My dog received laser and acupuncture before going home and the staff made sure to provide me with both holistic and traditional pain meds for her. My GSD had a lot done during this surgery, so I expected discomfort. I was blown away that she was back to her normal self the very next day. As a veterinary assistant I know how much care and skill it takes during surgery to make this post op so smooth and I am extremely grateful. Despite the need for a very large incision to reach both the cervix and the stomach she healed very well. The incision looked great and was fully healed in 7 days without the need for antibiotics. I am always nervous entrusting my dogs to a new vet but I will absolutely be back in the future after such a positive first experience. If you are looking for a vet that believes in both alternative and traditional medicine, and caters a medical plan to include both, Dr Hardoon is great!“
“I love the fact that Dr. Di Giovani makes house calls, and the staff there are really kind and friendly. Everybody goes out of their way to make vet visits as pleasant and positive as possible.“
