“Had Able Air come by for a seasonal AC start-up, first of the 2024 year. Just wanted to make sure everything was running properly and smoothly before the oppressive heat of the summer when I have my central AC running a lot. A technician named Nick came by the house within the timeframe window that Able Air had told me. He called about 20-25 minutes in advance to let me know his was on his way, as well.

Let me say that I very rarely write reviews. I had such a great experience with Able Air, and Nick specifically, that I felt compelled to share how professional and personable he was. He talked me through everything he was doing, explaining why he was doing it. He never tried to upsell me on any service at all. He worked efficiently and was super polite, and even though there wasn't much of anything to clean up, the place was left exactly how it was when he arrived. Not a single screw out of place or anything like that. He answered my questions related to the air handler and outside condenser.

I'm so relieved to say that I have found a reliable and TRUSTWORTHY company to use for any maintenance or service calls moving forward for my central AC unit. Able Air will be my go-to for the startup service each year, no questions asked.“

“After the previous plumber (not Pride Services) who provided and installed my kitchen faucet made multiple failed attempts to stop it from leaking into the cabinet below, I contacted Pride Services. Their technician, Ali, arrived promptly (preceded by a text that he was on the road) and, after I described the ongoing leak and he examined the existing faucet, Ali was able to show me that the interior faucet line had small holes in it. He patiently answered my questions as to what he would recommend and then ordered a replacement. The new faucet was available by mid-afternoon and Ali picked it up and came and installed it. It is such a relief to have had an accurate diagnosis and solution to what was an ongoing problem for months.“

I decided to replace it. Rich from Mako gave me a reasonable quote and Joe and George came right away to install a new combo wall unit. “I have a large city owned tree in front of my house. I call companies yearly to snake my sewer line to prevent backups into my home. For the past 2-3 years I've had 2 backups per year- this was abnormal. After my last back up I decided to call another company to clear my backup. I was told that its soap grease. I'm not a plumber but if this is the case, there would be flooding all over NYC. I then decided that I wanted someone to look in my sewer line and check for any obstruction. I called other companies and I was quoted $1,500 to have a video of my sewer line done...ridiculous and unaffordable. Then I found Will Do Plumbing and I was given an affordable alternative...photos. I was able to watch the plumber go through my sewer line and view the video as it was being done and take photos . The roots were thick and took up half of the pipe circumference. They were able to pin point the location of the two invasive roots from this city owned tree. I walked with them outside and they showed me the areas that had blockage. I rescheduled another appointment with Will Do Plumbing to have these root branches taken care of and the price was less than the $1,500 I was quoted by other companies to just have a video taken. My experience from my initial appointment call to the office, the plumbers showed up on time both times, they were very respectful of my home and discussed with me everything there were doing.
