Target Optical Doctors of Optometry - Colonie Northway

Colleen and Lori at the Target Optical are BOTH OUTSTANDING!!!!! AND they should seriously be rewarded for their, Kindness, Expertise and Patience with me. They were willing (and did) give me OVER 2 hours of their time, I am embarrassed to say! Who does that?! I asked a lot of questions and each one was answered with Kindness, Patience and Expertise that one does NOT find. Dr. Mamoud was Excellent, too, answering all my questions and giving me a clean bill of health. Amen! I was the first appointment of the day and the tech was on a personal call while we stood at the half open door waiting three minutes after. I had to reposition where I was standing because she wasn’t paying attention and she did not apologize. Everything was fine from then on, the teledoc optometrist was the quickest with using the appropriate lenses for my vision, to the point where it felt like all other optometrists had been leaving it to me to find the right script.

ONLINE SCHEDULING...!!! I don't know why this is still something that most healthcare businesses don't do, but this is the ENTIRE reason I decided to get my eyes checked here. It's a no brainer in the 21st century. So that said, I wasn't expecting much as far as the actual appointment. I figured that, since it was Target, the price of the exam would be reasonable (it was). But what I didn't expect was the friendly and non-pushy staff/salespeople. The doctor was very friendly and knowledgeable, answered all my questions and yet was efficient. Also a plus: being able to wander around Target for 15 minutes while your eyes dilate. :) More fun than... read full review
