Phil's Barbershop has been serving the people of Peekskill, Buchanan, Montrose, Crugers, Verplanck, Cortlandt, Garrison and Peekskill for more than 50 years. Dinkum Hair offers traditional and modern barber services for me. We offer hot towel shaves and finish every haircut with our traditional straight-edge razor neck shave. Kids love our gentle manner and the barber car to reduce stress and make every haircut enjoyable. If your child has autism, special needs or sensory issues, our staff do everything to ensure that every haircut is a great haircut. Women are especially welcome--and unlike other hair salons, we charge women the same price as men.

Went there for a hot shave with my future father in law right before my wedding. It was a really great experience. Very competent and friendly. I highly recommend this place. The barber is not only knowledgeable and talented, but extremely friendly.
I love this place! Phil's Barber Shop is a real old school barber shop where the barber is a craftsman who knows his customers and what they want. This is not an "assembly line shop", each haircut is a personal experience to the customer. The owner, Mark, is excellent at his craft and interesting to talk with.
Mark is the quintessential Barber that can easily transpose professions as a bartender with his Aussie humor and life lessons. Drive by his storefront to get a daily dose of his whimsical sidewalk signs that would have you laugh out loud. Guy walks into a barber shop.. ..and says “Chuck Wood here?” Barber says “no we cut hair.”
