Prior to coming here, I had been searching for a good kids cut in Westchester. I tried 3 kids-specific salons and 2 unisex salons over the past 3 years and they always did a disappointing job (e.g. cutting my daughter’s thick, straight hair across the bottom or making my son’s hair look diy ?). I thought I’d give this place a try and was pretty happy with the experience. Mark showed my normally apprehensive toddler his tools, had him turn on the buzzer, squirt the water sprayer, etc… Mark also actually took the time to cut my daughter’s hair properly (in layers). Both of my kids enjoyed their haircuts which is kind of a weird thing to say, right?

What a great little barbershop!! I was in the area for my daughters volleyball tournament and needed a haircut. A quick map search and I found Phil's and I'm glad I did. Great haircut, and great conversation....he told me all of the local places to go for food and sights to see! Awesome small business, i highly recommend!

Mark is a great Barber. Not many people still do a straight edge on the back of the neck and that's one of the reasons I still go here occasionally even though I live up in Dutchess. Also I've never had a to wait more than a couple of minutes. I definitely recommend stopping by Dinkum if you are looking for a true Barber.
