I didn't even want to give them a one star. We were having issues with our sump pump and had them come out. They told us we needed a new one. They said it would be $475 for them to replace it. That did not include the parts we paid separate for the new sump pump And any parts, so just for them to replace it was 475! This place should be ashamed of themselves to charge something like that for 45 minute job. EMS plumbing came out and replaced for us for $133. I will never use this place and never refer anyone to this place.
Very unhappy customer, I just wish they had a zero star but unfortunately they don't. they charged $571 for a 35-45 minutes job just to drain a kitchen sink, I forgot to have the guy hook up the line that goes to my refrigerator for Ice, they sent another guy the next day and they wanted to charge me another $385 to do it. bad business make sure you do your research people before hiring these guy. I don't usually do these reviews but I feel it's necessary to help somebody else for being ripped off just like I had. Btw I will also go to BBB to report them as well.
I want to start by saying that the two men who came to fix the problem were nice and they fixed the problem. That was the second appointment. The first appointment, they didn't show up. However, that is not the issue that I have with Roto-Rooter. When I contacted them, I thought the problem was much bigger than it turned out to be. I live in an old house, I believed that my pipes were occluded. They gave me a quote based on a large job. It turns out that they were able to clear the clog in my drain relatively easily and they were done in less than an hour. For this they charged me $750. I spoke to them and asked them to adjust the price for the actual work that was done, they refused. I contacted the office and asked them to adjust the price based on the work that was done, they also refused. Their response was that $750 was their standard price to clear a sink drain. I put it out there to all former customers, were you charged $750 to clear a sink drain?
