When I ask for a particular length, she gets it right. She does a great beard trim too. On top of the great cuts, the whole staff is friendly and the space is big and bright, with lots of windows, and nicely designed. Right off the Graham L stop, too.“

“I woke up, decided to cut my thinning hair. I asked AI to search salons in NYC. I was visiting from California and had no idea where to go. To be transparent, I was looking for a fade but still wanted to look feminine. I came across this salon. Nef happened to be available so I said a prayer and booked the appointment. I was less stressed because I was able to still cancel the day of, in the event I came to my senses and decided to head to Harlem for braids instead. Something in my soul said "set yourself free, Girl". I took the train and less than an hour I was there. I was very timid because I have been braiding my hair for the past 15 years. I haven't been in a salon in about 8 years. I can't remember the last time I was in a Barber Shop. The space was welcoming. The gentleman that greeted me was very nice and let me know where to wait. Nef was prompt for the appointment. I loved his non judgmental demeanor and compassion he showed towards me and my hair. I loved the cut he gave me. He was very professional and made me feel comfortable. I had confidence and wanted to show off my head after the haircut. Later, at dinner I got lots of compliments with my makeup and jewelry. Pro- Nef is awesome! Con- I have went to two Barbers in the past 4 weeks and unfortunately they have failed to do what Nef did. Dilemma: do I fly back to NY? LOL“
