Living in the area I have tried all of the salons closer to me and was never happy with the results, then I went to Apapas and even now when I moved farther away, I come back to Anastasio. He is a perfectionist and is great at what he does. I get my balalyage done and I go there every month for touch ups it’s absolutely amazing every time.

My mom and I had such a wonderful experience at the Nubian Hair Studio! We started off with a consultation with Key and told her what type of style we were each looking to do. She was thorough and made sure we understood what the process involved. Key worked on both of us. My mom decided to do a new color and cut to a shorter style. I decided to get crocheted passion twist. Everyone was so friendly and very professional and the owner Alice made us feel at home. I would definitely recommend this place and if I could go beyond five stars I would! They work on all hair types especially natural, and they are skilled in different types of hair styles. Make sure you call ahead to make an appointment because they are in demand but they will try their best to work with you.
I had such a great experience visiting Shosh Loc Studio. I had my hair colored and retwisted. I am usually one to do my hair myself so I was nervous but Shanna did a fantastic job with coloring my hair. She gave me color options on the consultation then gave me a spectrum of how light she could go based on my preference. She gives a very pleasant and thorough wash and overall is very professional. 10 out of 10 recommend!

First time going to this braiding spot / beauty supply store. Staff is friendly and quick, also extremely clean for a braiding salon. Pricing is affordable, I got a little passed over the shoulder length medium passion twist and I loved it! I’m always super self conscious because I have alopecia on both side of my head and the way this lady braider managed to braid my hair you can’t even tell at all. She brought me back a lot of confidence! Definitely will be returning!

This is probably my favorite hair and make-up I have ever gotten done. For starters I scheduled my appointment on the wrong day without realizing and they were still able to squeeze me in quickly which I really appreciated. My make-up by Noki was exactly what I wanted, a soft glam. My hair by Marin was exceptional. Also exactly what I wanted and even better than I expected. I received so many compliments all night. The girls were super sweet as well. I will definitely be back!

This is an amazing nail spot. They always do an amazing job. The nail techs take their time removing cuticle and making sure your nails look fresh. GO!!! the customer service in this salon is phenomenal. Found them online through a friend and immediately book and appointment with a stylist! My hair is insane and hard to work with because it's been previously colored etc... however, the stylist Joan did her best and got me to a brighter look, I did however the next day noticed something I didn't like and she took me back the and fixed the issue I had! The owner of the salon I believe (Tara ) apologized for the little tiny imperfection and it was just overall a great experience. 10/10 would recommend.

This was my first time going to European Wax Center. After not getting waxed in years due to a terrible experience in the past, I was so nervous. I checked online and booked my appointment. The front desk receptionist was very nice. I was checked in and met with my wax specialist Nayalyn. Nayalyn asked me questions before we started like if this was my first time and I shared with her that is was my first at this place However I didn’t have good experiences in the past with wax. She shared with me the reasons why what happened to me can happen to anyone and she let me know that she would share ways to avoid it happening in the future. We got started and Nayalyn was so gentle and took her time with me. As I braced myself for any pain I noticed that because Natalyn talked to me the whole time it took the pain away. Once everything was done I felt like a whole new person. Natalyn walked me outside and shared with me a few products I could purchase to avoid any skin issues like I had in the past. I was able to book my next appointment and receive a discount since it was my first time. I also was given another discount if I refer a friend. Thanks Nayalyn for taking good care of me. I had a piercing which I took out 2 years ago from somewhere in Baltimore NOT here or in any relation to this place . And I wanted it back , so I did research on piercing shops in the area . And out of all of them , this one sparked my interest and seemed a lot more professional . Upon entrance I noticed the beautiful art and cleanliness, I was greeted and told where I’d be waiting to get my piercing. I did not wait long , the young lady who did my piercing (frog eyes) was so knowledgeable and told me what was wrong with my previous piercing that I got done elsewhere , and ensured me that she’ll get it right . It was fast , and painless which i was surprised , she also followed the necessary steps to ensure proper hygiene . Very decent prices . I plan on going here if I ever want to get any other piercing . I’m still not a tattoo person but if/ when the time comes I’d definitely be giving them a visit for that as well. I give this place 5+ stars and I’ll definitely be back .

She’s always welcoming and warm even during the piercing process she makes sure that you’re comfortable, safe and ready. Her process is the easiest and her station is always being cleaned and sanitized. I’ve received Over 10 piercings from her including ear, belly, and nose piercings. No piercings that i’ve received from savanna has ever gotten infected and her half off piercing sales are a great way to add to my piercing collection.Her piercing assistant as well was very gentle and communicated through her entire process making sure i was okay. The whole shops environment is really an eye looker all the art and wonderful colors. The other shops tattoo artist David is also very nice haven’t had any services by him but always cracking funny jokes and making the environment light and easy. Would recommend coming here for a proper Needled piercing.

I called Latty's to get my building's gas turned back on because there was a leak detected in one of the apartments and, as a precaution, Con Ed had shut off gas to the entire building. Ian came out himself to assess the job, described to me what he'd need to do, and the time frame necessary to get materials and complete the job. Within a day or two I had a quote. Latty's started a few weeks later. The job itself was pretty involved. Plumbers from Latty's came out on multiple occasions to do work, including a mandatory asbestos inspection, remove the original meters, lower the riser to meet new code, install new meter bars, valves and plumbing, check and recheck for leaks, and make tweaks to the system as required by Con Ed. They CC'd me so that I could view the updates from Con Ed as they went back and forth to ensure the work met the new city code. Throughout this, they were professional and competent. Not only the plumbers themselves, but also Latty's office support staff were helpful in completing the process and answering my questions. The end result was that the city, and then Con Ed, came out to inspect and gave the building the greenlight for gas turn on. Latty's gave me dates in advance, and a representative from them was present on each occasion.
Before settling on these guys, I was in the wild for a bit trying to find plumbers who knew what they were doing. Once the job started and I saw their work, I knew the job would get done. It was a relief. I plan to call on them again for any future plumbing/HVAC needs.

This company was sent by American Water Resources, the water/sewer line protection for NYC. They replaced the water main, a part of my sidewalk and shut-off valves. I needed a key fob copied. And this locksmith was able to do it immediately and trouble free. I paid less than half the cost when I had this done at a locksmith around 34th Street in Manhattan.Even Webster Hardware did not have the equipment to copy certain key fobs. I highly recommend people to consult with Bronx Midtown Locksmith first if they need any type of key duplicated.

MaidPro is great. I have used their services for the past 6 months and I intend to continue on. They are consistent with phone/email communication and working with me to get everything in order for each appointment. We have had the same MaidPro representative (Joanna) to come in to clean our spaces and she is fantastic! We absolutely love her. In the event she is not available, MaidPro is able to provide other reps to come in. However, so far we have been fortunate to always have Joanna based on our schedules. This has helped us keep everything consistent.

Last year we bought the apartment next to us to combine with ours. Elkanah gave us a very reasonable estimate and beautifully finished the job within a very reasonable time. Hiring Rambal Contractors was the best decision I could make. I live in Arizona and needed a complete renovation of an apartment in New York occupied by my special needs daughter. I flew there twice and then left everything in Jorge’s hands. He did a superb renovation, but he also helped my daughter make decisions and even went so far as to accompany her to purchase appliances so that they were the right size. He was always on time and his crew worked nine hours days. When unexpected things happened (like finding rot under the bathtub) he revised his plans and the work never stopped. The co-op required permits, licenses and an enormous amount of paperwork. Jorge jumped through hoops and fulfilled all the requirements. I could go on and on about his outstanding craftsmanship and helpfulness beyond the “contract “. I hope this review is believed because it is true that Jorge is that good.
Had Jim out to sweep our stove chimney. I actually thought the chimney had caught fire and we were going to be without the stove until it was swept. As it's our main source of heating and in this weather its not ideal I was very impressed that after explaining this to Jim he squeezed us in and came at short notice. He was very helpful clean and efficient and will answer any questions no matter how daft it sounds. Will definitely be getting him out annually and can't recommend him enough.
Working with Danny and his team from Kitchen Champion was a very positive experience, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody looking for good quality work, flexibility in accommodating their needs, and a highly responsible team. They remodeled my kitchen, including the cabinets, countertops, sink, floor, and paint. They even built a small island that has now become the highlight of our kitchen. Danny responded promptly as soon as I posted my project and followed up in a timely manner whenever I had any questions or requested changes in the project. He provided us with a detailed estimate that we modified as needed. He helped us stay within our allocated budget by offering alternatives to our initial plans. For instance, instead of floor tiles, he suggested considering vinyl floors, and I couldn't be happier with the result. He never pressured us into particular choices; on the contrary, he was diligent in presenting us with different material options and providing contacts to various shops so we could see the materials and decide what worked best for us. We added a couple of extra things along the way, and Danny had no problem accommodating the additional work. Danny leads one of the most professional teams I have ever worked with. They have been working with him for over 20 years, which speaks to his leadership and fairness. They take great pride in their work. Two teams of two people worked on different parts of the kitchen in alternate days, and all of them were extremely respectful, hardworking, and went out of their way to ensure everything was completed according to our vision. They made it very easy for us to live in the apartment while the work was being done, taking every precaution to contain dust and dirt. At the end of each workday, they used a large vacuum to ensure everything was clean, allowing us to access the kitchen without tracking dirt around. The work was completed in three weeks, as Danny had estimated, despite our continual additions. We aimed for a clean, sleek, and easy-to-maintain look, and they absolutely nailed it. I will not hesitate to reach out to Kitchen Champion again for any other remodeling projects in our apartment.

Love the massages here. Have been going for years and had various massage therapists and all have been amazing. It’s not a fancy shmancy place, but I don’t care-you literally feel the knots being worked out during the massage. We have moved and I happily drive 30 min to their location. I haven’t found a similar place by our new house.Recently had one of the therapists come to our house for massage and that was also a wonderful experience. If you want a true massage to work out knots, stiff neck, whatever, I highly recommend the Whole You Spa.

Second driving school I’ve gone too and I can say it was way better than the 1st. I felt so comfortable the first day I walked in for my 1st driving lesson my instructor was great her name is Karina. She’s very patient and allows for you to learn and ask questions. This school plays an important role of honesty, being calm, and being fluent in different languages. I love that I didn’t feel nervous whenever I was behind a wheel due to the confidence Karina allowed me to built she let me learn and also taught me would definitely recommend.

I got my driving license 3 weeks back . Thanks to Asian driving school . Their behaviour is so welcoming and they try to help every individual with soo dedication . Special thanks and kudus to my instructor MD.kajol. He is a great instructor. He knows how to make a student from scratch to exam ready. His hands on practice skill can make any student feel confident after even 1st practice class . I would definitely recommend everyone to take classes from MD.Kajol . Wish you all the very best

Amazing driving school one of the beat in the Bronx ! My teacher was chuck and he was very patient well spoken and the way he taught was Great ! I feel like a pro at driving now thanks to him ! If you ever book lessons book with chuck will not disappoint !

I started taking driving classes with Vaswani 16 years ago. This was even before I had a family. I am now married with three children. That’s how long this process has taken me and how patient Vaswani has been with me. I would come take classes, take the test, fail, and then wait a few years before retuning again. Finally on my third time returning to take driving classes Vaswani told me we are getting this done. You need to be more confident in yourself. He worked with my schedule and fit me in wherever he could. He always told me I was doing well even when I doubted myself. He always told me at my classes “You can do this, and we are getting this done this time. We are making it across that finish line this time”. Right before my driving exam my anxiety was through the roof but he kept me grounded.
And guess what I passed my driving test. I couldn’t be anymore grateful and thankful for having him as my driving instructor he knew I could it and like he said he got me to finish line. If you’re looking for an amazing, patient, and just an all around great person to teach you how to drive Vaswani is the instructor for you. Thank you so much Vaswani.

Thanks to Mr. Melvin I passed my test. He's a great instructor, but sometimes comes off a bit aggressive, but it's for your own good. I failed on my first try with another school, and I took 2 lessons with Mr Melvin and went for testing & Walla I have my license ?
Ask for Silverao. Patient, experienced, confident. Took 8 lessons with Noel who would be late and on the phone and failed road test twice. Took one lesson with Silverao and passed.
This is a really great driving school. Nancy was extremely patient & nice! She even helped me get a sooner road test and I did not have to wait a whole month! She was able to find a last minute cancellation and scheduled me for my lessons/exam within one week!! I took 3 lessons with Rose. Rose was very patient and fantastic, she gave me so much confidence. I took my road test on Friday in Yonkers and PASSED :)!!! Thanks to rose & Nancy for the seamless process !!!
I had took some driving lessons here with Audrey & Tj. Although I was only able to practice with TJ only twice before he sadly left this school, I am so grateful for him & Audrey! They are excellent instructors who make you feel so confident on the road. Even though I failed my road test the 2nd time around, I finally passed my 3rd time taking it, and I can confidently say if it wasn’t for Audrey, I would have not been so confident to take the road test again. Thank You Audrey !!!!!!
