I went there for the first time on 10/9/22 and let me say these ladies are awesome. They are very polite and helpful among being very good at braiding. This is now going to be my place to go when I need my hair done.

I had a truly wonderful experience visiting Jay’s! I called Sunday morning, about an hour before I arrived wondering if I could be serviced. They said I could come whenever I wanted. When I came in, I was greeted and inquired about services, and immediately received help. Not even five minutes and I was picking out what kind of hair I wanted For knotless box braids with added curly hair. All of the ladies were very nice and respectful, and worked so quickly too! You couldn’t beat the price if you tried! Hair included and since they are also a beauty supply store if you don’t have enough or what you want they have it all! 10/10!!!! I came here super nervous because I’ve never been to the Africans to get my hair done. As soon as I walked into the shop, all the ladies greeted me with smiles & joy. I felt a little out of place at first obviously because I’m Hispanic, but they assured me they have done many Spanish sisters hair & they are family. Well after my experience, I’m family too! This was my birthday hairstyle, I asked for medium bohemian box braids with curly ends & brought my own human hair for added curls. $200 flat!!! Took about 5 hours since I have long thick hair, no pain, no extreme tightness everything was amazingly neat. Thank you again, & I will be back!
