This rating is not for the Chilipepper pump we bought for $249.99. We returned the pump because it was unbelievably noisy. Rather, the 5 stars are for the customer service. They allowed us to return the pump even past the stated 30 days of return, which was good because, what with realizing that this pump was not for us, getting a plumber to install it originally, and then again to remove it, combined with traveling, we were more than 60 days out. Then there was an error and we were only refunded $150. There was a lot more hassle, but finally, today, the full amount (minus charges) of $245 was refunded to my PayPal account. I'm very grateful for the refund, and Dennis was attentive and considerate.

At install 2022-02-05, Had to replace both T-Fittings because they leaked.Replacement T Fittings from HomeDepot had rubber seals which worked fineNow I just hope the bearings last a long time!

Never get any real support after buying product. Concept is excellent, but support and design has not changed in years. The problem is the motor is serial wound and there is nothing to limit the high speed of the motor so it burns out the motor, bearings or wears out the seal. There is also no screen to keep sediment out and as clean as our water supply is, the check valve gets stuck open. I had to service it, and the remote also occasionally doesnt work. Over the years there has been no effort to upgrade the design, so I am buying something else. Myself and others have tried to support this company hoping they would improve the product.
