I won the Bloom grand opening giveaway and chose the Botox treatment. Upon arrival at the med spa I was welcomed and noted it was clean and a professional atmosphere. The owner was my injector and she explained what her technique was. The whole experience was quick and easy and I am happy with my results.

I was out of town for a few days and then busy the following week, so I was two weeks behind schedule for my fill. From day 1, I usually have good retention with my lashes, still looking good after three to four weeks. However, I'm amazed to see that today, after five, almost six weeks of no fill, my lashes are still full and I still get a lot of compliments for it. Ate Cathy, you're very skilled at what you do! I have been going to Steph for so many years, I think I've followed her to five different locations. Of all of these, her current location is the longest commute for me and I don't care because I simply wouldn't go anywhere else. If you wish you felt this way about your hairstylist, definitely give Epic a try!
I had a great experience. I do not like going to get my hair cut, I'm very indecisive, I don't care to hold conversation, I don't care to be touched, I never do anything with my hair anyway.
However, I called to check their hours, which they vary with technicians availability (ballpark usual business hours like 9-5). Maria texted me (they asked if text was ok since I was about to be at work and not able to answer calls) I had limited availability and she was able to take me in the very next morning (which I appreciated as I likely would have just postponed for another year). She was finished in the time frame I had available - and even styled my hair! (She asked if it was okay first) I've never had curls before and I'll say it was a pleasant experience! Opened up my eyes to more styling possibilities.
She mentioned some products used but didn't push any sales at the end (which for me was perfect, the haircut alone is overwhelming && I don't want to hear about confusing products for more money yet)
I definitely plan on visiting again! I won't wait a couple years for a cut this time ☺️

I found Winter after searching on Instagram for hair stylists that specialize is razor cut shag/mullets. After following a few pages I liked, as soon as I saw her page I knew she was the one and messaged her instantly. She had me send her photos of my current undercut grow out and made me feel comfortable that she would be able to give me what I wanted. I rarely (once every few years) get my hair professionally trimmed. My hair is thick and fluffy and I don’t think most hair stylists really know what to do with it. I felt like Winter’s communication through the whole process was very inclusive and I’m so happy with how the cut turned out! She gave me easy styling advice and recommended some products, explaining what they are for and how to use them. She has 20 years of experience and it shows! She was so easy to talk to and I enjoyed our conversations. I’m really so happy with my experience with Winter. It’s been a day since the cut and I’ve already had several people go out of their way to compliment the cut. Thank you Winter!

This place is perfect for a trim. I had the pleasure of getting a cut by Hollie today and was very pleased with the result. She was personable and did such a nice job. She took her time making sure I got exactly what I wanted.
The place was packed but I felt like wasn’t rushed through. I highly recommend this location and Hollie. Definitely make sure you go online and put yourself on the wait list before showing up. They will send you a reminder text when you have 15 mins to go.

My 85yr old dad has late stage dementia and is quite a handful. We were truly blessed to meet Nicole today at the Sparks shop. She was so kind and patient with him. She listened to what he was describing, took all the time he needed and did a beautiful job with his hair and beard.

I'm nervous about cutting my hair. I grew it to my waist and was hot and desperate. My hair was unhealthy and I am raising two teen boys so self care isn't in the budget. I met Maria at the North McCarran location in Sparks. I requested shoulder length with layers with the razor layers that are whispy. She insisted on using scissors and I was soooo nervous because they end up choppy looking. Maria was AMAZING! Anybody that can do whispy layers with scissors is pure genius! I'm recommending her to family and friends. I usually pay $80 and paid half and of course gave her a tip because she was well worth the experience!
In today's world of fades and fancy designer haircuts, it was refreshing to find the Classic Barber Shop. From the moment you walk in the door, I feelt like a guest in someone's house. Great prices and clean professional cuts. I live in California but I'll be making a trip back to Reno just for a haur cut.

Great shop! I take my 7th grade son here and Mark is great. I like his old school style of cutting hair. He is also super affordable and it's easy to get in (unlike most barber shops).

Great spot for a spray tan! I was running around last minute looking for a spray tan- called the studio and was able to get squeezed in prior to closing. Great customer service!!! I Got a spray tan from Caitlin who was very kind and walked me through step by step on how to pose and what color would work best for my skin tone- great price/coverage AND the tan lasted a week! I couldn't recommend enough!

Well, a year ago I took my nails off, as we have a swim spa, that my nails kept popping off.. ugghh! So, I have been doing my own nails for a year, polish, dips, press on, you name it. I used special polish that was supposed to strengthen my nails, even that did not help me. So, Falicia who owns Buckin Nails of a Time in Sola Salon in Sparks advertised on the Nextdoor app. So I messaged her about my nails, and I liked her, so I am giving her a try. Very professional, and I like her setup. I had my 7 year old gdaughter with me, as she wanted her nails polished too. Falicia was so nice and said yes she would love to polish her nails too. Falicia has a cool way she does gels, it was interesting and very different from what I am used to, cool !! It took awhile to build up my nails with gel. Great conversation going on the whole time.. my Gkiddo was hungry and Falicia has a snack drawer, Hadlee helped herself to some cookies and goldfish, that was a really nice touch! I am so happy to have my nails back on now. Hoping my spa keeps them on too, lol. Then it was Hailee's turn. I just figured she would just polish them. Nope!! She pushed back her cuticles and then filed them, and used gel polish, she says she does never uses any other polish except gel polish, wow, that's even better as it stays on longer, and I figured Hadlee would ruin the polish, nope, when she was done , we paid and left and her nails were dried.. EPIC! Thanks Falicia, looking forward to the next time.... Oh Yeah, her shop is decorated so cool, cow hide on the wall, western themed, loved it!!

My grandma and I have been coming to Nail Club for years. I've never gotten a manicure, but I've had quite a few pedicures. First of all, they can usually always fit you in the day of as long as you call in the morning. I know they take walk ins but I don't like to risk it so I usually call. They always do an amazing job and I give an amazing massage. Today at my visit I noticed they just got brand new pedicure chairs as well. Last year I unfortunately got my toe smashed and my entire toenail fell off. One of the pedicurist was so kind and gentle to work on the nail to at least get an acrylic on it as I was going to a wedding and would be wearing open toed shoes. She didn't even charge me extra. I can't recommend this place more at least for pedicures. My experience has always been pleasant and relaxing. The pricing is also very fair for the services that they provide.

I have been going to Nikkay for haircuts for quite some time and not only is she great at what she does but she is very personable as well. Sun and Moon salon has an amazing vibe that makes you want to hang out there all day. As an added bonus the prices are totally reasonable the location is super convenient.While i only get a cut, i have seen her color work and it is top notch! I had my first hydrafacial with Jessica a year ago and it was the best facial I have ever had in my life! I live in Los Angeles and was only in town to visit so it was a godsend that I was able to find her and have such a positive experience. It was so good that I began to doze off. It felt amazing and left me looking glowy right before my wedding. She explained the entire process and the properties/benefits of each product being applied. I haven’t had another hydrafacial since then so I am looking forward to the day that I get to be back in her chair! Jessica is highly recommended! 10 stars!

I have been seeing Tracy with All Eyes on You Aesthetics for over 15 years for eyebrow waxing. She does both men and women in a way that looks natural but opens up the eyes. Took like 10 years off my sweethearts face just by shaping his brows! She does wonderful facial and skin care. Her facials were incredibly helpful to someone I knew with cystic acne. Really helped with feeling better about herself. She specializes in and is certified in XTREME lashes. They are very high quality rather than those cheaper looking ones that some places use. She can do them however you like - lush and thick or more wispy and light. She listens to what you want . She's truly an artist and such a sweet person too. I can't recommend her enough and should have written this review years earlier

Shades of Gray is a step above most tattoo studios and a big reason has to do with the staff, particularly Aly. My wife had been wanting to get a tattoo for a long time, but was nervous and not sure where to go, who to trust, and all the important stuff you need to cover when you are getting your initial ink done. Luckily, Aly was a friend who made us feel like family. Not only was she a pro with design and implementation, but so kind, calming, and professional all at the same time. Her chair in the back of Shades of Gray was perfectly set up to put us a ease. Plus, I got a free cup of coffee while my wife got a tattoo (not the biggest thing to highlight, but still, I loved it). Excellent music choices, clean tools and environment, and a crew that could not be more supportive. Aly, we will forever be grateful to you for making the two socks tattoo a dream come true. Good service on short notice. We have used Gibson Plumbing for over 15 years and have always been happy w their work. We did have an issue involving pricing of an automatic shutoff valve. When we asked how much it would be the estimate was $5,500 - 7,000! We cancelled the order. The tech should have given us a heads up on the high cost rather than waiting for us to ask.

Thanks goodness for the nice folks at Michaels! We were desperate, my husband is at home due to being disabled, and our air went out during this massive heatwave of 105+ every day. The house temperature was 85 degrees and there was no help with fans or window air conditioners. We tried to schedule service through another vendor and they were unavailable until Saturday- 5 days away. Hearing my desperation the WONDERFUL staff came out the next morning and even charged me a reasonable rate to fix the problem. We owe you a huge amount of gratitude for saving us, and our three dogs, from this awful heatwave!! I cannot say enough nice things about this company!

He walked me through fixing it myself over the phone and when we thought the issue wasn’t resolved he offered to swing by on his personal time before his work day started to take quick a look. But what he walked me through doing over the phone actually resolved the issue. He refused to let me pay him anything for his help. Supreme Plumbing installed a tankless water heater at my house. We had an old electric water heater, which they swapped out for the tankless, and ran new gas piping for the tankless. Yvessa in the office was super friendly and got us on the schedule right away. Absolutely amazing customer service. I called 8 different plumbing services for quotes on a new water heater. This company won me over by their customer service and good prices. Great communication through email and phone. The company actually winded up calling me to ask questions about why I was wanting to replace the heater and to see if there were other options instead of putting in a new one. From the first initial steps with staff communication I was happy with the interactions and were impressed with how they just didn't slap on the most expensive thing they could and call it a day.Then the technician arrived right on time and he absolutely knew his stuff. He went above and beyond for what he needed to do to be able to give me the best options and explaining the pros/cons of each one. This company is not out to nickel and dime you, but are actually for the customer and will give you knowledge of your situation. They are fair, give you all your options, and let you make an educated decision for yourself instead of telling you to go with the most expensive route. I will 1000% be going back to them for other plumbing needs I have.I honestly can't say enough about this company. From start to finish it was a great experience and I felt very important as the customer.

In my experience, Mike/Matt and the rest of the crew are the best at plumbers we have in the area. They recently saved me from a devastating leak in a very hard to reach place, at a very reasonable price. I plan to work with them on a replumb for some supply lines. Previously I also had them install a water softener as well and they went above and beyond to ensure I had a clean bypass (something I didn't even know to ask for). These are the only guys that I can trust.

Brad was very knowledgeable and found the cause of my issue. Was able to get a circuit up and running. Cost is still pending as I am awaiting the invoice, but I am Avery happy customer!

Pioneer built a 50 amp, 240 volt dedicated circuit for my kitchen. They were recommended to me, they are easy to do business with, and I am very happy with the result.
I had recently purchase a sauna for my house. However, after completing the build process of the sauna, the sauna heater needed to be professionally installed by a licensed electrician. So, my friend who was helping me build it, called Allied Electric, inc. and talked to somebody in the office. What I didn’t expect was for them to be available to come take a look at it that same day and rather quick as well. I needed them to give me a quote on how much it would cost to hardwire the sauna heater (it’s an 8kw heater) to my house.
Alex Maclean (the electrician) came out to my house and was super friendly and very personable, awesome guy and very knowledgeable in his field of expertise. He explained everything very simple and gave me an estimate that day. Of course, the estimate he gives his clients may of course fluctuate by the end of the job being performed, be it extra materials, unforeseen and/or unexpected whatever it may be. However, he told me he would give his thoughts to his boss and get back to me via email with a quote.
Later I got the email with the estimated quote for two electricians for 6 hours to install and hardwire my sauna heater (which was lower than what we had expected). And they said they could come out just 3 days after my initial call and same day quote. That is impressive.
So, three days later, they showed up on time and completely ready and equipped to do the work and finish the work that day. Alex at Oriental Rug Wash is a master of oriental rugs. He washed and reinstalled 8 inherited rugs for me including installing the appropriate padding for my rugs. I hired Full Steam to clean my kitchen floor tiles and grout. Jonah arrived right on time and was professional, speedy and thorough. I truly cannot believe how clean Jonah got our tiles. The grout color is completely different before and after (previous owners picked the tile and grout, and I thought the grout was dark brown. It's not, it's light beige). I'm planning to use Full Steam's services yearly!

From first conversations with Neil to the ten days working with Fernando and his crew on our mid-century modern house painting project, the communication and professionalism was excellent. They are proud of their work and it shows. Ours felt like a special case in that we had concrete and wood surfaces and needed some solid technical advice and support in deciding what to use for paints and stains. They know what they are talking about, and the house came out really well done. Sharp edges, clean lines, detailed prep work, fine painting and clean up. After traveling for nearly two months we arrived home to a busted sprinkler pipe and a flooded room, not exactly the welcome home we wanted but it was our reality. We had Mill Street Cabinets, Paul and Mike, reface our lower kitchen cabinets. Paul came out a few times to measure and to check the color and the glaze on the refacing to be sure that it was a match and a product we would like. They are incredibly professional and service oriented which is hard to find in today's world.The cabinets that they had to match were an off-white with a cocoa glaze. it was no small feat. Paul worked with the manufacturer very closely to be sure that they would match. The cabinets that they were refacing were oak. The new cabinets are beautiful. They match almost perfectly.The installation process went smoothly. They did a fantastic job installing the draws, doors and panels. We love our new cabinets.The below pictures show the before and after. The picture with the wine chill is our island and that is what they were matching the new cabinets too.We had a small issue with one of the panels, after installation, and Paul came out the next day and checked it out. Jaymes gets it done. The great thing about Jaymes is that he does what he says and is very open to unique project requirements. We had several contractors limit their scope of work, but Jaymes took on all the areas of work including demo, island modifications, countertops and back splash. The team who installed the quartz countertops were top notch and could not have done a better job. They were so professional and caring. Jaymes communicates well and is very timely on scheduling and executing projects.
I had a upstairs toilet that had leaked for a long time. I created a lot of mold on a downstairs wall! Advanced Installations was contracted to remove the mold on the drywall and 2x4 studs behind it! It was a mess. They did a great job! I also contracted with them to replace the 2x4s and drywall! Their crew of Mike and Jim were superb! The work was done quickly, and I am very happy with the result! Tony and Pat kept me informed! I would use Advanced Installations again!

When we moved to our new Spanish Springs home, we knew we were going to want to have a place where we could enjoy the weather, entertain friends and just be comfortable in our "forever" home. The patio area is just the right size to have a little loveseat to enjoy a morning coffee, a set up for an intimate dinner for two or just relax with a good book, but wasn't very welcoming. The cement flooring, even with an outdoor carpet, was hard to keep clean and just not attractive. Greg of Tile and Stone Creations came to the rescue! What we were asking for, tile on cement in the outdoor extremes of Northern Nevada, was not something we wanted to take chances with. Yes, the area is covered, but we had to be sure the job would be done to near perfection to ensure years of lasting beauty. Greg is a multigenerational tile guy and knows his stuff. I felt comfortable speaking with him and asking questions and he was great about helping me to understand the process and costs. I had already done some research into the process and materials and Greg just confirmed everything I had already read up on. I especially liked his good communication, in person, in texts and email. He kept me statused on the installation timeline, met all commitments and kept in touch through the installation. He was pleasant and friendly but not overly so. The job he and his colleague did on our patio is beautiful! The tile we purchased, to match tile we already had in the house, but Greg helped us to get the correct color grout. He discussed the best layout, and step by step prepped the surface and proceeded to complete the installation in stages to allow things to set and seal properly. He always left the site in perfect order, cleaned the area and made sure there were no safety hazards for people or animals. He respected our property and access requests. Greg was completely professional at all times with his interactions and his work. I plan to call on him again when I am ready to install a steam shower!!

We've trapped a couple of mice under our outdoor BBQ recently and so asked Advanced IPM to send a technician out to take a look. We were particularly concerned about the potential for mice to access the crawl space under the house from the outside. Travis D. came out and took a thorough look around. After checking out the exterior of the property he spent the best part of half an hour exploring the crawl space, itself - a tight squeeze and not at all easy! Throughout the visit he was a pleasure to deal with - thorough and highly professional.

I highly recommend Harris Landscape. I've used them twice now. Once to add an additional zone to my drip system and add a bluetooth Rainbird controller. Most recently Harris did a major refresh of my front and back yards by moving boulders, replacing DG and bark as well as testing and modifying the drip system - I have a lot of plants! I appreciate that I was able to pay a deposit in order to reserve a specific week for the work to be performed well in advance to accommodate my family's travel schedule. A number of my neighbors have also used Harris. Everyone I've spoken with has been pleased too.

Spanish Springs Family Dental has been my dental office since I moved here in 2008. Dr. Adam York started there shortly after I had my first appointment. While his predecessor was good, Dr. York is great! Dr. York will give you all possible options and discuss all the pros and cons, allowing you to choose. Some dental offices will try to sell teeth whitening kits, etc, but not at Spanish Springs Family Dental. And this holds true for all the staff! Due to a chronic health issue and genetics, my teeth were not the best. Dr. York was able to get about 10 more years out of my natural teeth before I had to start with partials. More than once, I felt that I would have to have a tooth removed but he was able to save them, allowing me to stay with a partial instead of a full denture. The entire staff at Spanish Spring Family Dental has always made me feel valued. More than once I called with a broken tooth or a crown that popped off. They were able to get me in as quickly as they could. Thank you all!

I have seen a ganstead chiropractor for years. He took X-rays and ALWAYS re-evaluated them. When I moved I was hesitant to see just anyone. With my career and being rear ended my neck has been a challenge. I finally saw a chiropractor in my area and I felt very uncomfortable he never asked about X-rays and I always felt worse. 1 year later I was told of Dr Brecke by a few of my neighbors. I made a phone call and the front desk “Jules” made me feel like I was being heard. They got me in and stayed late for me. He took my Xrays and told me things I’ve heard before and some I had not- I work in dental and I could now visually see my jaw deviated to one side! . He looked at my whole body not just my neck. When he adjusted me I didn’t even realize I was being adjusted but I felt better. The pressure was gone! I can’t even write into words the pain I had for weeks and within an hour it was 80% better and this was my first appt. The initial cost was worth it and to know he is not adjusting me blindly and with X-rays can see where my problem areas are. Even my initial appt the massage therapist was there and giving pointers on how to help my knees. How I wish I came sooner, super sweet people- and a wonderful office. Even my sinus is better ?

This was my first massage with Brie. She was professional but very welcoming. She went over my questionnaire, and verified some of my answers. The room was cozy and inviting. Music was playing softly in the background. Now to the good, I mean great part. Her massage technique is phenomenal, her touch is perfect amount of pressure, while knowing exactly where you are holding tension. She now has a repeat client. I definitely recommend her, she offers a wide variety of types and lengths of time on her menu. I did the signature massage. It was a variety of hot stone, deep tissue, Swedish, and even a scalp massage at the end of the session. Make an appointment with Brie, you will not be disappointed!
