“Great experience. Very fast service and Tim was extremely patient with all of my questions as I had many! I was torn between trying to finish out the season with my existing system or replacing the entire system now as I knew it would definitely have to be replaced before next summer. “Review! So last night my air conditioning decided it wanted to stop working. It got hot super fast. I was recommended to Lafferty Heating and Cooling. I got their answering service early this morning. Lauren called me back promptly and set up for them to come out between 12 and 4. At 1130, I got a call from Bob who said they would be here within 30 minutes. They diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes of being here. They walked me through what had happened and what they needed to do to get it working again. They made sure I thoroughly understood what was happening the entire time.

The owner came out on site I was very pleased to see that he is so involved with his crew which are all very sweet and kind people. “Had a small leak in the bathroom that was getting worse. Called Abbott and was lucky to get an appointment the same day. Rocco and Max quickly determined that the water supply pipe to the toilet was cracked. They efficiently worked together and got the plumbing repaired very quickly, at the price Rocco quoted. They most likely saved us from big mess, as the leak was getting worse. Thank you, Rocco and Max!“

“I had an AC condenser unit which didn't come on when I started the system. I called one of the big HVAC outfits and when the tech came, he told me that the compressor was shot, and since the system was over 10 years old, we should get a new one which would have cost about 17K. A friend recommended Temp-Stat who had installed her new system for much less. So, I called Temp-Stat for a second opinion, and I'm glad I did. Turns out I didn't need a new system or compressor. The tech pointed out a breaker switch and said to just clean the coils once a year. I am so grateful to Temp-Stat and appreciate their knowledge, honesty and reasonableness. I HIGHLY recommend them.“
