“I had been looking for a gym that could help me start strength training without icky gym vibes— I am SO glad I found Forge. The team is kind and fun, in addition to being great trainers. The schedule for training is easy to navigate and flexible with my schedule. Honestly, my only complaint is that I waited so long to get started with them. Highly recommend!“
“My son has been training with Joe and his staff for years and it has been a game-changer. Joe and his team are highly specialized in performance training, and their expertise has brought undeniable results for my son. Supportive, knowledgeable and results-driven, a top notch team!“

“The best life decision I've made in the past year was to complete the "get matched with a coach" google form on the PerformanceGaines website. I was matched with trainer Daniel L. and he has exceeded my expectations! And, he has helped me get on the path of achieving my fitness goals. Daniel L. is knowledgable, adaptable, thoughtful and kind. I look forward to each of my training sessions-literally the best part of the day! While reading Dr. Peter Attia's book, "Outlive" was my call to action to lead a healthier life, if you're reading this, perhaps this is yours. Remember, Health is wealth. Invest wisely.“
“Colin is fantastic and fun to work with. He is professional and tailors my training to optimize my sessions. Give him a shot. You won’t regret it.“
“The reason why we joined this Gym which is 15 minutes away from home is because of how friendly and helpful Charles from the reception is. We came once and he was super helpful and the second time after trying really hard to join another 2 gyms near home. After joining, the place is really clean and the machines are really durable. The whole place is 5 stars. Thanks to Charles and I will tell all my friends about it.“
“Retro fitness is an amazing gym! The people at retro are very supportive, and I’ve never felt uncomfortable while working out! The staff especially, makes this gym special. I love the management of Retro, and I continue to rave about this gym to all of my friends! Thank you for everything!! I will continue to support this gym :)“
“Used the club while on vacation visiting family - great selection of machines and free weights. Locker room is super nice and clean. Excellent staff and service as well. It’s a little warm and the wipes to clean machines are kind of small but otherwise great all around. (Pro tip: bring a sweat towel if you use one and your own lock if you want to use the lockers!) Be sure to visit the juice bar!“
“I have been a member of LT in Princeton for just over a year now. I have never seen a more complete or beautiful exercise facility in my life (and I have belonged to many). After joining, my wife and I began exploring the many activities offered. We have taken ballroom dancing classes, yoga classes and she has taken Zumba classes. There are aerobic exercise machines, weight machines, free weights, pilates, and classes involving both.During the summer months we took full advantage of the outdoor pool. The club also has an indoor pool and there is a hot tub in the indoor pool facility as well as a hot tub, sauna and steam room in both the men's and women's locker rooms. The club has a spa with a complete menu of spa services including massage, and there is a cafe which has a wonderful menu of salads, sandwiches and snacks and is also used by many members as a lounge. There are many other activities available, but many of the reviews here address the pickleball program.I had never played pickleball prior to joining LT. The club offered a free intro class, and after I took it, I was hooked. Under the guidance of the pickleball professional who has regrettably been singled out for criticism here (extremely unfairly in my opinion), the program more than tripled in size in less than a year. As a result of that incredible growth, it became increasingly difficult to schedule court time - more than 400 people accessing three courts, one of which is occasionally used for group and private lessons.Perhaps no-one will be surprised to learn that there have been a catalog of abuses by members, which deprived other members of equal access to the courts. The club administration and the pickleball professional have gone above and beyond in trying to make court access more equitable and to provide playing opportunities to players of all skill levels. It is those changes that have resulted in a great deal of unhappiness and criticism. One of the adjustments has involved additional fees, and the anger over those fees has, in my opinion resulted in ardent and unfair criticism. The system is in flux, but I wanted to add my voice in support of the club and the pickleball professional.I have never observed any of the negative behaviors that have been leveled as accusations. I have only observed the pickleball pro to be an excellent teacher. She has gone out of her way to listen to complaints and to try to address them in an equitable fashion. I have even seen her endure personal attacks, rudeness and criticism to her face with patience, understanding and even kindness.I consider myself to be a good judge of character. I wanted to go on record saying that I categorically disagree with the "reviews" accusing the pickleball professional of rudeness, or worse. I will go even further and say that I believe she has been defamed by some of the posts here and I hope that she considers her legal remedies.“
