The workouts are challenging, yet do not drain you out completely. The strengthening exercises have in fact helped me recover from my injuries.All the coaches (Ryan, Justin, Morgan, Jack, Jay and Joe) are extremely knowledgeable, motivating, supportive and friendly.The out-of-gym support (communication with your dedicated trainer) is also very helpful in remaining accountable, getting any questions answered and staying consistent.Forge has managed to build a very inclusive, non-judgmental and a safe space for everyone.My entire experience with Forge - right from orientation, onboarding and training with them has been nothing short of incredible. “The owners have created a very unique atmosphere, unlike any I've experienced at other gyms. They are truly interested in YOU and what personal goals you want to achieve. The support and encouragement, from both the instructors and other members, gives you the push to achieve those goals and the sense of accomplishment you need to continue. This is not the cookie-cutter type fitness and nutrition plan. I joined The MAX Challenge of Flemington at the "push" of a good friend, thinking that I'd just stick it out for a few weeks. That was almost 4 years ago and I hope to be with them for many more to come! Thank you Ari and Roxanne!“

“There’s so much to say. John was my first ever coach and coached me through my powerlifting meet. He isn’t only a coach. He’s my friend, a mentor, and someone I’ll always value. He puts his heart and soul into his business and his client with whom he treats like family. Everyone is welcome. We met about 8 years ago, and I will FOREVER carry everything he has taught me such as discipline, confidence, mindset, the mind body connection, sacrifice, focus, and most importantly, love. You’ll have a great experience here. He is truly one of a kind! ALSO THE STUDIO IS PHENOMENAL. TOP NOTCH EQUIPMENT. AMAZING ART. “I was introduced to Fitboro through a friend. At first, I thought it was going to be for only a few classes as I prefer exercising by myself. But Fitboro and Alisha changed that. Alisha is a fantastic coach. To start with she is super fit herself and is a role model. She designs her program keeping in mind the current state of her trainees and gently nudges and pushes them to achieve more. Alisha is also extremely knowledgeable and can help correct problems with technique and structures her program to not only improve overall fitness and strength but also to address any weaknesses. I have found a tremendous improvement in my fitness and strength levels after several months of the Fitboro program. The training is very personal as the class sizes are small. I see myself continuing with the program and would certainly recommend Fitboro and Alisha to other fitness enthusiasts.“

“I came to Porter Fitness and Health with a goal to lose 15 lbs and become more lean. After talking with Jake Porter about my goals he gave me a personal workout plan to achieve them. About two and a half months later of consistent exercise on his plan I lost 17 lbs and felt much better overall. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to lose some weight or gain muscle mass. He was also super helpful, kind, and informative throughout the whole experience which was great since I knew very little starting off.“

I cannot praise her enough for how amazing she has been in completely transforming my fitness level in all respects - form, balance, flexibility, strength, and endurance. “I have been a member of LT in Princeton for just over a year now. I have never seen a more complete or beautiful exercise facility in my life (and I have belonged to many).After joining, my wife and I began exploring the many activities offered. We have taken ballroom dancing classes, yoga classes and she has taken Zumba classes. There are aerobic exercise machines, weight machines, free weights, pilates, and classes involving both.During the summer months we took full advantage of the outdoor pool. The club also has an indoor pool and there is a hot tub in the indoor pool facility as well as a hot tub, sauna and steam room in both the men's and women's locker rooms.The club has a spa with a complete menu of spa services including massage, and there is a cafe which has a wonderful menu of salads, sandwiches and snacks and is also used by many members as a lounge.There are many other activities available, but many of the reviews here address the pickleball program.I had never played pickleball prior to joining LT. The club offered a free intro class, and after I took it, I was hooked. Under the guidance of the pickleball professional who has regrettably been singled out for criticism here (extremely unfairly in my opinion), the program more than tripled in size in less than a year. As a result of that incredible growth, it became increasingly difficult to schedule court time - more than 400 people accessing three courts, one of which is occasionally used for group and private lessons.Perhaps no-one will be surprised to learn that there have been a catalog of abuses by members, which deprived other members of equal access to the courts. The club administration and the pickleball professional have gone above and beyond in trying to make court access more equitable and to provide playing opportunities to players of all skill levels.It is those changes that have resulted in a great deal of unhappiness and criticism. One of the adjustments has involved additional fees, and the anger over those fees has, in my opinion resulted in ardent and unfair criticism. The system is in flux, but I wanted to add my voice in support of the club and the pickleball professional.I have never observed any of the negative behaviors that have been leveled as accusations. I have only observed the pickleball pro to be an excellent teacher. She has gone out of her way to listen to complaints and to try to address them in an equitable fashion. I have even seen her endure personal attacks, rudeness and criticism to her face with patience, understanding and even kindness.I consider myself to be a good judge of character. I wanted to go on record saying that I categorically disagree with the "reviews" accusing the pickleball professional of rudeness, or worse. I will go even further and say that I believe she has been defamed by some of the posts here and I hope that she considers her legal remedies.“
