“Bought an old house, needed a fair amount of renovation. First job, porch roof sagging. Second, leaking roof. This was my approach to selecting a contractor. Online reviews, asking friends, driving around and counting contractor lawn signs; you would be surprised how many there are when you start looking for them!! MAK was the clear winner!I called MAK, and had an immediate response from Marcin. Quoted the jobs right away and the price was really good. Once I said OK, it was game on! I came home from work and the porch was half done!! Then it was all done! The roof obviously needed some good weather to replace. Marcin always communicated on status and schedule. If I had a question, always a fast response!! He even had a few suggestions that I immediately agreed to, because once the problem was pointed out it was obvious it needed to be addressed.I am considering removing a load bearing wall to open the kitchen to the dining room.
