“Early spring, J.A.M Building and Renovations (JAM) completed our porch addition. Even though JAM seemed to lean more towards interior projects, they were very interested to take on our 28 x 19 a-frame porch.
From the initial consultation all the way through to the final finishes of the project, JAM conducted themselves in an honest, professional and respectful manner. Cap that off with their quality of work, staying within budget and schedule, proved we made the right decision to hire them.
Andy, Chip, John and the team worked their various roles masterfully throughout the project to make it a success. In addition to their work, JAM’s choice of subcontractors to support the core team on various phases of the job was flawless.
Giving an extra shout out for Chip - Andy’s appointed lead for this project. From working with the architect, to working with Andy in ordering the materials and scheduling, all the way to driving the last finishing nail, Chip kept us well informed of every event prior to its occurrence to help work with our schedules, something that we feel is one of the most critical aspects of the project.
Along with conducting good communication, quality, honesty, cost, and reputation were the highest characteristics we sought in JAM and they certainly delivered. We will definitely give them a shout in any future projects.

“If you are looking for hardscaping work, this is the company to use. You have to wait for them but it's worth the wait. Ed is great to work with. He is even hands on at your site. I've never dealt with a salesman that is so responsive, polite, and professional. The entire team is great. On top of the awesome work, they are extremely clean. My property was cleaned after every day of the job which is a big deal to me. I've dealt with contractors that leave a mess for you to clean up after they're done but not these guys. The price of our project was very fair for pavers and retaining walls. They even went above and beyond to fix a piece of my sidewalk that had sunk. “Hired Elvis to rescreen our screened in balcony and two patio doors. Guys seemed to work hard but after they were paid $600. and left we noticed one panel ballooning - not tight enough and the two doors frames deformed from the metal screening they used. The doors cannot even close now. When we called Elvis he promised to send them back to fix the problems but after 3 times of not showing, I am writing this review. No ethics in this company. They do not stand by their work.“

“I cannot be more pleased with Dave's work. I had part of my basement sealed ( wall needed work before coated and sealed) before all the heavy rain started about end of June 2020. Still looks great and I know will last. I like his estimates and home repair proposal's. I also had variety chimney work done , very pleased.
