“I have been with Master Nick for a total of 7 years, and I can confidently say that my life has changed for the better. I recently rejoined the dojo after a very long (12 year) break, and I couldn’t be more happy with my decision. Over the last 2.5 years, my confidence has grown immensely. I used to be afraid of public speaking, getting a huge pit in my stomach when I had to stand up in front of a group of people. Now, I am a lecturer at a university delivering lectures to 200-300 students at a time!!! The instructors at this dojo are so extremely kind and encouraging; I always feel inspired to do better. They encourage kids and adults alike to come out of their shell and do the best they can, whether that’s in martial arts or life. I will forever be grateful to Master Nick and his dojo. I was iffy joining at first since MMA was so new to me, but everyone makes you feel very welcomed and included- I’ve been at Hybrid now for 2+ years and absolutely love going. If I could go everyday I would!! Master Mike the main instructor has great energy and is immensely helpful, kind, and encouraging. Him and other instructors push you to be better mentally and physically, and work closely with everyone to make sure they are doing moves correctly.
