We celebrated our 6 year old daughter’s birthday recently and it was amazing. All the kids had so much fun and they make it so entertaining and educational at the same time. Sensei Adam and Sensei Jessie are awesome teachers and make things so joyful for the kids. I highly recommend celebrating birthdays at Satori Academy as well as bringing your kids to learn vital things like Commitment, Confidence, Courage, Discipline, Self Defense and many other things - you won’t be disappointed.

If you are looking for a place to have your kids birthday party SATORI ACADEMY is the perfect place. We recently had our daughter birthday and was the best party ever. All the kids had the most fun, with plenty of games and making sure every kid participated and enjoyed themselves . We are so pleased how the party came out and many thanks to Sensei Adam for going above and beyond to have a terrific party. Every parent commented what a great party it was and the highlight of when our daughter cut the cake with a sword and break a board. Definitely a memorable moment . ❤️❤️ thank you all !!

The BEST martial arts school around. The instructors are incredible. Their quality of instruction is top notch and it’s very easy to see how much the entire staff cares about each and every person, parents and students alike. Everyone is so warm, welcoming, and friendly. My family and I LOVE it there. My daughter has become so much more confident in herself and she’s actually starting to listen at home! Thank you Sensay! Couldn’t say enough great things about Satori!

The Satori Academy Story begins with Dave Kovar, our founder and Kyoshi (Master Teacher). Dave Kovar opened his first school in 1978 in Northern California with the philosophy that the principles behind martial arts have wide application in students' lives. This innovative approach combined empowering life skills with traditional martial arts training and led to nationwide recognition. Kovar named his now nationwide organization Satori Academy, borrowing the Japanese term for enlightenment, Satori. Satori symbolizes our goal for all our students, to be "in the moment, at your best."
