“This F45 is a very special place. I encourage anyone who is slightly interested to try it out.I took advantage of Wahlberg Week, which is a twice-a-year promotion all F45 clubs do where you can try 7 classes for $7. Basically free. After completing 6 of those classes, I wish that I had found this place sooner.What sets those place apart from other workout studios are the coaches and community aspects. I picked up on it right away. The coaches are familiar with all members and know them by name. They quickly saw that I was a new face and learned my name. I was getting coached right away like I was part of the team!If you’re not familiar with how F45 works, definitely look that up. You can find that anywhere. The movements are functional and often challenging! But I want to give most of my review to raving about these high-quality coaches.The coaches at F45 North Paramus are TOP NOTCH! After one week I remember many names…Michelle, Nick, Dani, Marissa, Jenny, Drea, Felicia, Rakeesh….they all have such command of these movements. They’re all committed and dedicated to helping their members. Try a class and see for yourself! They fly around the room during workouts and help each person, adding a level of personal coaching to the classes that helps you improve your form!During each class I took, I had a “mini one-on-one” session with each coach where they took time to show me a movement I wasn’t doing correctly, watch me do it, and help me fix my form. It doesn’t get more personal in a class setting!And all of the coaches at this F45 have such positive, fun, uplifting personalities. They all bring their own flare to the demos and classes to bring that community aspect. Their infectious personalities permeate the room and get others motivated!! They play great music too, playing DJ mixes that cover tons of songs you know.Did I mention this club sends out a newsletter to its members?! How great is that! Once again, it provides a fun sense of belonging to a community all about getting in shape.I had such a fun time at F45 North Paramus AND improved on several movements! “Connor was my physical therapist and I can't recommend him and the entire physiorx team enough! I came to him barely able to sit or move due to severe lower back pain from lifting and I'm walking out 12 weeks later feeling 100% again. He's patient, positive and so communicative and i learned so much from working with him. They truly know what they're doing and I don't think I would've had the same success story anywhere else. “Strong is a great gym with great teachers. I have been taking the adult kickboxing classes for over a year and I love it! The gym provides a safe, friendly atmosphere and it is amazing what a great workout you get in one hour! Students range from 16 to 60, men and women.I had worked out in other ways over the years but had never done kickboxing before. It is definitely challenging at first but in 2-3 weeks, you get in the groove for both the conditioning and the kick-boxing parts. And it's way more fun than programs like Orange Theory or just lifting weights.I highly recommend Strong Martial Arts. It really is a great workout option for all skill levels.“

“Hackensack Meridian is one of the nicest, cleanest gyms in the tri-state area.Pro's: Huge facility with every machine and piece of fitness equipment you can imagine. Multiple gyms in the area have the "old gym sock" smell. Hackensack literally has no odor and is kept reasonably clean. There is staff to answer questions, but don't expect a boutique experience. Again, huge facility . The showers and locker rooms are clean with towels/soap/shampoo/conditioner/hair dryers . The saunas and hot tub are typically in working condition. When they are not, its fixed within a day. The pool has 8 lanes. Most swim lessons are kept in the therapy pool so there are no splashing/in the way children. Again, the aquatics facility is clean and well run. Swim team starts at 5pm and takes up 2-3 lanes.Minor cons: The giant window between the pool and gym should be one way. It would provide a more private experience for everyone running around in bathing suits. Cellphonesshould not be allowed in the hot tubs. Street shoes should not be allowed on the pool deck. It is a massive hygiene issue. This is mostly on the parents bringing their kids to swim lessons. The lifeguards need to be watching the pool, not clustered together and chatting. They should be separated. Two watching and one roaming the pool deck.Classes: Please attempt to have something at 4:15/4:30 a few days per week.Cafe: Later hours would be greatly appreciated. I would love to grab dinner on my way out the door .Overall: Great facility and the best on Route 17. Minor issues, but no place is perfect . Definitely recommend if you can swing the 80.00 per month.“
