Frank was very friendly as well as the optometrist...the receptionist very rude...maybe prejudice....discriminating feeling towards people of color....just to find out you have perfect insurance...glasses ok...wrong prescription first time

I usually meet with John at Cohen who was fantastic but he has been replaced by a guy who is completely rude on the phone. He acted like he hated the world and that wasn't just one day, it happened twice now on the phone. I bought a pair of glasses from Lenscrafters and also a pair from Cohen at Xmas. The poor service at Cohen is forcing me to take my glasses to Lenscrafters for an adjustment instead of where I bought them (Cohen). Why would they hire such a horses a** and not keep John? I hope they shape up but I don't think I will go into their store again. Also, this could explain the lack of customers coming into Cohen even on what should be busy weekends. The man behind the counter was extremely rude and rushed me to pick glasses, though I was as respectful as possible. It's not that Cohen's Fashion Optical has remarkably better frames than other places, and I did not pick anything at the end. I found great pairs elsewhere, with much better customer service. Would not recommend.Also, I share similar sentiments as other people of color in not being treated respectfully or with a pleasant demeanor. Perhaps this can be a heads up to other people of color.
