“We absolutely adore Little Maestros! My son has been going since he was 5 months old, and it's always been his favorite class in the rotation. Nick and the rest of the band are so talented and friendly. And there's so much going on: music, dancing, "what's in the box", puppets, and bubbles. Such a special class put on by really wonderful people :)“
“Joseph was the piano teacher for our two sons and was so wonderful. He was fun and gentle, and always made them feel so positively about the piano and their lessons. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a teacher who is passionate and great with kids.“
“Dori Levine is a very warm and welcoming vocal teacher. She helped me become comfortable with some of the most uncomfortable parts of singing, by challenging me to step outside of my comfort zone while maintaining an encouraging presence. She is the kind of teacher who will help you accomplish your unique goals rather than drilling you with technique. I felt at home in her Tribeca, Manhattan studio. She is a real gem of New York City.“
“Needed my guitar restrung so I called the soloist. Douglass answered and said to bring it in. He took care of it immediately. Easy, pleasant, fair, no nonsense same day service.“
“Excellent location!! We're are very happy to see our daughter progress at piano studies. The instructors are very professional motivating to attend the recital and other programs. The best school of music!“
“Carol is an amazing piano teacher! She has been teaching my daughter for the past 7 years. We are very happy with carol’s mentorship. My daughter started as a beginner with carol. Now, she is playing beautifully and progressed much farther than I expected. I am also a piano player and am very impressed with how diligent and hard working carol is. She really cares about her students and makes sure they work to their potential. She has inspired my daughter to work hard and become a very fine pianist. We were very lucky to have met carol. I highly recommend Carol.“
“Mr. G is a wonderful and very patient professor! He takes time to thoroughly explain everything and makes piano lessons easy and fun!“
“I have been a student at Brooklyn Music Studio since I was 7 and it has been an absolutely incredible experience! Hagai and Jinah are amazing teachers, who are very good with working with kids of all ages and up to all levels. I am now going to Brown University for music and I can't capture in a review how grateful I am to the Brooklyn Music Studio for teaching me so much! Jinah is an amazing music theory teacher as well as a virtuosically talented piano teacher and player, and Hagai is an incredible violin and viola teacher and player (he focuses on building the most important technique skills and is kind and patient while still a challenging teacher.) In their lessons, both Hagai and Jinah meet you where you are, giving you the tools and skills to improve without shaming you. They are also extraordinarily welcoming, kind and funny people!“
“Had the pleasure to enjoy Karlus Trapp at the New Port Richey library. He is a treasure of musical talent and black history music that has influenced much of what we listen to today. I look forward to hearing more from this young gifted talented man.“
“I’m so thankful to have started attending lessons at Riverside Music Studios; it’s a great place to learn piano for a casual enjoyer or aspiring professional. I began my piano lessons a few months ago, and have been able to attend consistently because they offer lesson times in the evenings, which work great with my work schedule. From my instructor to the staff, everyone is extremely friendly and professional. I would highly recommend starting lessons here!“
“I owe all of my music ability (and increased passion for jazz) to Ridgewood School of Music. I have received poor advice from other teachers but never with Ridgewood School Of Music trumpet maestro, Bobby.Everything suggested moves me past my musical slump and launches me into new fun things.Lo mejor de lo mejor! <3“
“Highly recommend Shostakovich School of Music, Art & Dance! My child has been attending this school for years. We are so grateful of the professionalism of the classes, program and experienced faculty. My child attended classes ranging from Piano, Vocal, Art and Modern Dance. Due to the expertise of the teachers, my child gained an immense amount of knowledge, skills and abilities which resulted into getting an acceptance into a gifted school for Arts and Sciences--based on Piano and Vocal skills assessment. I have attended numerous concerts that were held in large theaters and musical halls such as, Steinway Hall. It has always been a pleasure to see the amount of work and dedication that goes into these performances. You can certainly tell that both the children and instructors genuinely love what they do. Attending these concerts always feels like Broadway productions and high level Ballet performances. My child loves to attend all the classes, she gained has a passion for performing and obtained an extensive amount of skills and life long friends. I believe it is very important to invest into children's development in every aspect and I would highly recommend Shostakovich for children of all ages!!“
“We are so fortunate to have found Theater steps and can’t say enough good things. My child absolutely enjoys every session and being part of this great program. Mrs. Lisa is a complete blessing and helps build confidence, my child who can be a little timid has blossomed all thanks to Mrs. Lisa continuous support, patience, dedication and most importantly making it fun to learn.“
“Kim at KB Sax extends the enjoyment I experience playing saxophone right into the saxophone shop - on every level. Just a genuinely nice person, willing to freely share his knowledge, exceptional customer service and what a great product!I received a hand hammered KB by Kim Bock alto neck in October 2022 and after playing it for 3 months, I can confirm that it has been a great experience. I realize that most of our sound comes from us, but it’s refreshingly welcome to get that subtle yet noticeable boost from the right neck or the right mouthpiece - and Kim’s neck did just that.In a world full of marketing, trying to pull us in all directions, I’m so glad that I took the time to analyze all my options and eventually decide to go with Kim at KB sax. Thanks Kim.“
“Jeremy Miller is, hands down, the best trumpet teacher we had for our daughter. He's very professional, invested in his students and also flexible and works with their schedule. Highly recommended“
“My child has been learning Piano for a bit more than two years with Huiwen. He grew so much as a musician. Huiwen is a fantastic teacher. She is kind yet serious enough, patient and creative. She clearly loves what she does - teaching music to kids - and it makes a huge difference. I can not recommend her more!“
“The NY Conservatory of Music is such an exemplary institution. Dr. Stryjniak is a concert pianist who is an amazing instructor. His wife, Joanna, is such a lovely and warm human being. We also love Andre who is always so mindful to people's needs. Their students get to Carnegie, ABT and so on. Always a privilege to be around such talent and discipline.“
“I absolutely love this music school! Andy is so personable and patient with me. I’ve been here for the new renovation and I absolutely love the new studio space. I recommend this to anyone of any age who wants to learn a new instrument! I am learning drums but Andy teaches guitar, bass, and piano as well!“
“My daughter has been with NJDF for 3 years now. I can literally see the confidence, skills and passion she discovered while attending here. She part of the company team and they are literally like a family to us. Just so you know how dedicated and determined to give these girls the top of the line dance training, I'll share that I travel there every single day from Passaic County. Rosemary is amazing, creative and sincerely cares about our kids as well as our families as a whole. Alana is so talented and inspires so many girls. Until my daughter ages out.. we'll keep traveling and investing in her passion only at NJDF.“
“Been taking some private lessons with Marty to learn guitar and I couldn't be happier. Marty came highly recommended to me by my good friend Danny and he was so wise to send me to Marty. I played violin when I was younger but I was recently inspired to pick up the guitar and it's been great for my soul and Marty has been like a doctor diagnosing my bad violin habits and correcting them for guitar. I would recommend anyone to try out this gem of a music school in Brooklyn. It's never too late to pick up an instrument and play. Prices are reasonable and the studio is conveniently located and I always feel welcome.“
“Had an amazing time in Mr.Smiths class today at our local library. He has an amazing way of interacting with kids and a way of teaching them. So happy my son had this experience today“
“The first time I met Anthony and Susan was when my daughter, Meredith, 3 years old at the time, had just been evaluated as having mild to moderate autism and I was looking for alternative ways in which she would be able to express herself. When I told Susan and Anthony about Meredith and her situation, they opened their arms and accepted who she was without asking any questions. It was tough at the beginning to teach my daughter because she wasn’t talking and did not follow any directions. But Susan was very patient with her and very knowledgeable of what type of instruction was needed. Within a few weeks, my daughter thrived—she played songs with two hands, read notes by herself, recognized the sounds being played, and most importantly, she started to talk. I was very touched and thrilled to discover that my daughter was able to communicate and interact with people other than her parents. This November will be the one year anniversary of my daughter’s first lesson with Susan. Within the year, Meredith had noticeably improved and had demonstrated the ability to play more and more difficult pieces. She even had her very first piano recital and completed a song all by herself. She said to me after the recital that she wasn’t scared, not even a bit!Of course, there are ups and downs during the lessons, but Susan and Anthony are always there for us and give us the best advice after each lesson, as well as share their personal experiences with other kids in need. I am very grateful that I have met them and very delighted that my daughter has found her music home.“
“We like the school since the teachers have really high goals. My daughter had have a hard time to adjust in the beginning, right after she had been with a young girl who praised her all the time from another school. But she wasn't learning as much as at Blüthner. We do not see having goals and working towards them as a problem. The teachers are fair and professional. So no complaining at all from our experience.“
