“This is an amazing place for music! Christian is an amazing teacher, he's super cool, super funny, and super supportive! He really is awesome and he's a really cool teacher. If i had to pick a place for my children to go to for music school, it'd be here, and I'd beg for Christian to be their teacher!“

“Dori is the most fantastic vocal instructor! Our lessons are always fun and engaging. Dori creates a comfortable environment that has helped me gain confidence in my vocal ability and push my limits. I highly recommend her lessons, whether you’re new to singing, or an advanced vocalist.“

“Francis has been amazing for my 9yo son's growth in musicality. We initially contacted him simply because we live nearby and because another music school (which will remain unnamed) disappointed us. But we quickly learned how much care he puts into his personalized lessons. He's also very communicative and punctual when it comes to scheduling, always a wonderful soft skill to have alongside the actual talent and patience required to help his students. We're so lucky to have met Francis!“

“I’m so thankful to have started attending lessons at Riverside Music Studios; it’s a great place to learn piano for a casual enjoyer or aspiring professional. I began my piano lessons a few months ago, and have been able to attend consistently because they offer lesson times in the evenings, which work great with my work schedule. From my instructor to the staff, everyone is extremely friendly and professional. I would highly recommend starting lessons here!“

“I'm enrolled in Further Music School's Adult Group Piano classes - 16 weeks of lessons from Nov. 2022. Competitively priced. Very good location and instruments are brand-new and really good for me as a total beginner to Piano. Front office is really professional, friendly and very accommodating. Our Piano instructor, Matthew, is just amazing. In addition to obviously being a really great piano player, he's very encouraging, empathetic and understanding. He takes time to ensure that I am progressing each class, while ensuring the lessons and the music learnt are fun, yet challenging.I would have no hesitation recommending this school and its services, especially if you're new to Piano. I will definitely look at options available, through them, to continue my learning once my initial course is complete.“

“We absolutely love this school! Professional teachers and staff. I am so grateful to everyone in the school. I cannot thank them enough for all their teaching and caring. Maggie is great and she is on top of scheduling and sending reminders to parents for classes. Mr. Chris knows how to teach and motivate students’ music learning. My child enjoy going to the lessons there.“

“My daughter Chloe took the spring semester and loved it. The teachers are great and the program is great. We wanted to continue for the summer! Marni, the owner called me and we talked about the options for the summer semester. The team really cares. We will be attending drop in sessions during the summer.“

“We like the school since the teachers have really high goals. My daughter had have a hard time to adjust in the beginning, right after she had been with a young girl who praised her all the time from another school. But she wasn't learning as much as at Blüthner. We do not see having goals and working towards them as a problem. The teachers are fair and professional. So no complaining at all from our experience.“

“I have been a student at Brooklyn Music Studio since I was 7 and it has been an absolutely incredible experience! Hagai and Jinah are amazing teachers, who are very good with working with kids of all ages and up to all levels. I am now going to Brown University for music and I can't capture in a review how grateful I am to the Brooklyn Music Studio for teaching me so much! Jinah is an amazing music theory teacher as well as a virtuosically talented piano teacher and player, and Hagai is an incredible violin and viola teacher and player (he focuses on building the most important technique skills and is kind and patient while still a challenging teacher.) In their lessons, both Hagai and Jinah meet you where you are, giving you the tools and skills to improve without shaming you. They are also extraordinarily welcoming, kind and funny people!“

“My son started learning piano with Carol from 4 and now is turning 6. She really knows how to teach kids and keep them encouraged. My son and I really like Kelly Kirby, the material she uses to teach kids, because it is fun, hands-on, and useful. The Steinways she uses are stunning. Carol is also strict with kids and she does her best to encourage the parents to work with the kids. The part I love her most is that she responds to my countless messages about music/daily practices fast, sometimes even at midnight... Feels like all her life is about music and yoga, nothing else. In conclusion, she is a very responsible and passionate teacher and musician/classic pianist.“

“I have been learning guitar with Greg for over a year. He is not just a teacher, Greg is a mentor. He takes the time to get to know you and individualizes his approach to meet your learning needs. He is excellent at breaking down information and techniques into clear and applicable steps. He is invested in his students use of best practices and in their understanding of how and why music is formed. I can’t recommend Greg highly enough (unless your only interested in learning how to play songs by rote). Greg takes the time to develop your skills, understanding, and how to eventually play any piece and make it your own.- An adult student with very little previous skill“

“We are so fortunate to have found Theater steps and can’t say enough good things. My child absolutely enjoys every session and being part of this great program. Mrs. Lisa is a complete blessing and helps build confidence, my child who can be a little timid has blossomed all thanks to Mrs. Lisa continuous support, patience, dedication and most importantly making it fun to learn.“

“Kim at KB Sax extends the enjoyment I experience playing saxophone right into the saxophone shop - on every level. Just a genuinely nice person, willing to freely share his knowledge, exceptional customer service and what a great product!I received a hand hammered KB by Kim Bock alto neck in October 2022 and after playing it for 3 months, I can confirm that it has been a great experience. I realize that most of our sound comes from us, but it’s refreshingly welcome to get that subtle yet noticeable boost from the right neck or the right mouthpiece - and Kim’s neck did just that.In a world full of marketing, trying to pull us in all directions, I’m so glad that I took the time to analyze all my options and eventually decide to go with Kim at KB sax. Thanks Kim.“

“The NY Conservatory of Music is such an exemplary institution. Dr. Stryjniak is a concert pianist who is an amazing instructor. His wife, Joanna, is such a lovely and warm human being. We also love Andre who is always so mindful to people's needs. Their students get to Carnegie, ABT and so on. Always a privilege to be around such talent and discipline.“

“My child has been learning Piano for a bit more than two years with Huiwen. He grew so much as a musician. Huiwen is a fantastic teacher. She is kind yet serious enough, patient and creative. She clearly loves what she does - teaching music to kids - and it makes a huge difference. I can not recommend her more!“

“My 7 year old just finished his first week of summer camp at WSM. He woke up early every morning and got ready so he could be the first one there as the doors opened every day. This is not typical of my little guy who I typically have to drag out of the house, so it just proves this place is magic. He spoke so highly of his camp counselors/music teachers, Ben and Camille, and can’t wait to come back. Highly, highly recommended.“
