“TSMA Englewood has completely transformed me—physically, mentally, and socially. Before I started training here, I was just an average Asian Joe, unsure of myself and what I was capable of. I could barely make it through half a class, both physically and mentally, and my shyness held me back from truly connecting with others.

But six months later, everything has changed.

Now, I train 5 days a week while working 6 days, and I feel stronger and more resilient than I ever thought possible. I’ve gone from avoiding conversations to starting them with confidence, from feeling average to realizing that I’m capable of so much more than I ever imagined.

The program here is nothing short of life-changing. The instructors are passionate and supportive, and my classmates are genuinely encouraging and uplifting. It’s a community that pushes you to be your best self, even on the toughest days.

From my personal experience, I’ve learned that once you reach the point where you truly believe you can do anything with effort, you become unstoppable. Fearless. Limitless. There’s no obstacle too big, no goal too far away.

This journey has taught me the power of persistence and self-belief. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I know this is just the beginning. My children have had Senseis Eric and Jackie and both are really wonderful with young children. The school is well-organized, communicative with parents, and has created a family-like environment for all its students. “Strong is a great gym with great teachers. I have been taking the adult kickboxing classes for over a year and I love it! The gym provides a safe, friendly atmosphere and it is amazing what a great workout you get in one hour! Students range from 16 to 60, men and women.I had worked out in other ways over the years but had never done kickboxing before. It is definitely challenging at first but in 2-3 weeks, you get in the groove for both the conditioning and the kick-boxing parts. And it's way more fun than programs like Orange Theory or just lifting weights.I highly recommend Strong Martial Arts. It really is a great workout option for all skill levels.“
