When he noticed the age of our furnace, he suggested an additional inspection of the heat exchanger, and while I'm always wary of being upsold, he took the time to explain how a furnace works and what is and isn't checked in a regular inspection. I went for the additional inspection and was grateful he suggested it as I now have full confidence in the health of our furnace coming into the arctic portion of Calgary winter.
