Daniel was particularly great to work with - kept us informed and was exceptionally responsive. While there were a couple minor issues that crop up in many jobs, once he was made aware, he got them resolved quickly and properly. “We found Built on Trust through an online site and are so glad we did. We asked Javier to come out, look at our projects, and give us an estimate. He came out within a day, said he could do it, and began taking measurements and pictures. Within a few days, we had a contract, and he began working.

We were truly blown away by the quality of work, one-of-a-kind design tailored to our needs, and craftsmanship on our screened-in porch/deck build we completed this summer with CDG.

While the visual appeal of their work speaks for itself in the pictures, structurally our build was done right and often exceeded what our town inspector checks for. The architectural and engineering plans that came before our build started gave us the peace of mind that what we have is built to last.

Finally, I can’t stress enough how much of a breeze Bryan, Elena, and the crew made executing a major build as touchless as possible for us; we were never left in the dark about what came next, where materials are, how best to address the inevitable change order, or what was happening on the job each week. Over the two months the CDG build crew worked at our home, we found them to be some of the friendliest, most respectful, and above all, passionate workers we’ve ever worked with. It’s a true rarity to want to say: we were genuinely happy to welcome them each day and had no doubt trusting them on our property.“

“Between helping to care for aging parents, their deaths, and the pandemic, my house suffered from “squeaky wheel syndrome” — meaning only the most urgent problems got any attention. I hired Jeff to fix some rotted wood trim I had found on garage windows. But Jeff’s initial inspection identified several other areas of serious rot, with the worst compromising the integrity of a 3-panel sliding patio door. When Jeff showed me the problem areas and explained the extent of the damage, I was expecting him to say that replacing the windows and door was the only option — an option that I knew I couldn’t afford given that the door alone would cost about $9K. Fortunately for me, Jeff has amazing skills he learned from repairing and restoring wooden boats. Jeff worked miracles on restoring 14 rotted window frames, making them solid and looking almost new. His repairs are so seamless that I have difficulty identifying which areas were restored. Jeff takes pride in his work and takes the time to do each step correctly. Because restoration is often a multi-step process, Jeff might not be the fastest or cheapest — but he is the best! The high quality of his work has kept Jeff busy in our neighborhood as neighbors could see the before/after results and asked Jeff to put their homes on his schedule.
Before writing this review, I waited a couple of months after Jeff had finished to make sure the repairs held up and I was still pleased with his work. I can confidently say I highly recommend Jeff Borchers because he is a rare find - a true craftsman with a huge skill set, extensive knowledge, and years of experience — but most important the ability to find a solution to whatever problem arises.“

“Clay at Statewide Construction completed a few jobs for us related to buying our new (older) home. Our realtor recommended him initially to look over the home inspection report prior to closing as we negotiated a fair credit towards home repairs. He charged a nominal fee and walked us through each item via phone, since we were out of state. We were convinced when it came time to tackle that “to do” list, he would be our first call. Within a few weeks of closing we discovered an issue with squirrels getting into the attic. We were still out of state at the time and it took less than a day for him to send a crew out to shore up any holes in the space. Fast forward a few months and we decided to replace our “new” 20 year old roof and also address some exterior water damage. All work was completed promptly by his professional crew at a fair rate. The piece of mind we now have is priceless. We wholeheartedly recommend Statewide for any construction projects and will definitely call on him for any future projects this old house requires.“

“Split Oak Homes is a wonderful builder and amazing to work with. Owners (Mike & Drew) are accessible, great at both communication and listening to your ideas. The process was smooth from beginning home designs through selections (lighting, hardware, cabinets, colors, etc) to delivery and closing. These guys and their team make it an exceptional experience and we had fun with the process. “I worked with Rodas Construction for my new roof, and it was such a smooth experience! After calling the office, John was able to quickly come out to assess the damage and provide a rough estimate on site, helped me to submit a claim with my insurance company and met with my adjuster. We were able to get the work quickly scheduled - Rafael and his team did great work on my roof & and Salvador, the painter, came the next day to fix the water stains in my master bedroom ceiling and did a wonderful paint job. “From concept, to planning, to remodeling and follow through, Distinctive Remodeling is THE BEST REMODELING COMPANY!!! Eddie, the owner, came out to meet us on day 1. He accessed our needs and desires, gave us a no-nonsense evaluation of our project, and clearly let us know the cost and the time needed to do it RIGHT.
Michelle was our designer. What a GEM. She helped design our whole-house renovation based on our taste, and not out of some book or magazine. She took us through each step of the selection process. Gently guiding, never demanding, always finding OUR preferences. And she showed us QUALITY. When one of the subcontractors did not provide us proper service, she found super alternatives. She even took time to help us pick appropriate furniture (not required or part of our contract...she is just a super nice person and spent her own free time to help us).
Then there was Bob, our foreman. 100% professional with an incredible depth and breath of knowledge. He let us know what was feasible, what was reasonable, and what was required.
We also used Distinctive Kitchen and Appliances. Terri was, and continues to be, an incredible resource.
