We had Ben come out and clear about 4 acres of pine forest for us. He’s upfront and honest about costs, and very fair. He does excellent work and treats the job like he was doing his own land. His experience really showed when he was able to give advice and personal stories when dealing with all of the other aspects of land development, not just taking trees down. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

I grew up in NY so I like my cut to look clean and fade to be perfect so it took me a while to find a good barber shop. Now that I found the chop shop I don’t have that worry about my cuts. The whole crew is great and friendly. I mostly get my cuts from Brittany and she does a great job every single time. I also want to shoutout Carly as well she did great the times when Brittany was booked up. The atmosphere is very cool with sport memorabilia and it’s very clean. They have beer in their fridge and always offer it to you if you have to wait for your cut. Overall I don’t have a single bad thing to say.

I have been truly scared to get my hair done. I have thin and fine hair. Always wear my hair up because I’ve had no confidence in wearing it down. I took a chance and booked an appointment with Chelsea. She asked me many questions on my current care and what I was trying to achieve. I could not be more happy and confident of how it turned out. I haven’t put my hair up once since getting it done. The stylist there go through a lot of training and are true experts. For a style, wash and color it was very well priced. I wish I lived closer to get my touch up done! Truly truly recommend 100% before and after pictures

I got my hair done by Shay, she was absolutely wonderful and super sweet. I went in looking rough and didn't know the exact style I wanted, and Shay brought the perfect hair for me to life. She didn't rush getting my hair done, she took her time and did what she thought was best for me and I basically just let her take the reigns. The environment is super sweet, everyone was super awesome! I will definitely come back!

I have just moved to Craven Co and I passed by the salon many times on the way to work & when I asked a friend who lives in the area where I should go, (her hair is always gorgeous) she suggested Southern Charm. I made my appointment this morning through their website which uses cutting edge software for scheduling so it was simple and convenient to see all the services offered, with the cost of each, the time it takes and the hours/days available. I was thrilled to find an open appointment today. Jessica gave me some long layers, and shaped up my longish hair. It looks great and she has my highest praise. Eric is a Master Barber and has been cutting my hair for years. The fade is always on point and he takes his time to do the job right.
Just got a hair haircut by David Bryant…….Excellent service. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he did a great job. This was my first time going to a new barber after 17 years. I will return for my next haircut and my son will come also.

I've been going to this Sun Tan City location for a couple years now. The staff is always so knowledgeable and helpful with any questions you have. Best nail salon ever! I got an incredible pedicure and he even took care of my in growns that were hurting me. The man that did my pedicure (I wish I had asked for his name so I could say exactly who helped me) was extremely friendly and personable and really went out of his way to make sure I was happy and my nails were all in good shape before I left. He just really went the extra mile for me and was so great to chat with and very knowledgeable. If you live around here, don’t bother going anywhere else. This is the best nail salon.

There nails will last for 4-5 weeks “just get a fill in whenever you need one” but you have to be very specific about what kind of nails you want. I just wanted a pink powder and the girl put clear tips on my nails so by the time everything was done, the pink powder looked clear and that is not what I was going for…. And I’ve been there many times and never had a problem with them except for this one time so just make sure your nail tech understands exactly what you want.
The staff here at Happy Nails and Spa are great. I love going to Tiffany for a gel pedicure. It's pricey but I enjoy the massage she gives and the service she provides. All the staff are accommodating and ensure you are satisfies.

Mariah was wonderful! I'd never been here before but family recommended it. I had recently traveled and had a few side affects from it that were making me miserable. On top of that, I got sunburned on my arms the day before my appointment! Mariah was understanding and worked with me to get the fluid retention down in my legs to a comfortable level, and she helped me with suggestions on how to combat it on future trips. I learned to be more careful with airline travel and to be better at hydration. She was sweet, intelligent and made me feel better almost immediately. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area again. Hopefully, without the sunburned arms next time!

Cleanliness: Shop is super clean. Every artist is certified in blood born pathogens and with the health department. Materials are sterile and sanitized properly and disposed properly.
I went for a simple nose ring three years ago. Its healed extremely well, no issues with infection or keloid bumps and because she measured it well beforehand, my jewelry still fits! She was absolutely amazing, answered all of my questions and was very patient with my nervousness. I always send everyone here and plan to see he again soon for another one.

I have used Bennett Plumbing Service on multiple occasions. Kenny & his crew are professional, courteous & knowledgeable. Thorough work with no questions left unanswered when they complete a job. Clean cut tile work while installing a new shower faucet to replace an old, outdated leaking one. Removal of old bathroom vanity & sink that was practically cemented to the wall with no damage & installation of new vanity cabinet & sink. I have gotten to know Mr. Bennett from the work he has done & consider him a friend. We were struggling with a solar/PV-battery system that was configured wrong, resulting in a near-total loss of voltage in the battery and a shutdown of the PV system. Josh at C-Phase Electric arrived onsite, connected with the manufacturer over the phone and expertly troubleshot the problem. He came as planned a few days later to check on the battery's progress and finish the work. I commend Josh for his commitment, timeliness and friendliness. I highly recommend Josh for similar solar/PV-battery projects.

I had been calling around to different electricians for about a week looking to have someone install an outlet for our pool pump, the prices were astronomical. So I called Brown electric to come out. I explained what I was needing and they were so nice! They explained to me what they could do and got me a quote quickly. The quote was very reasonable, I was scheduled about two weeks out but that was understandable given I was not an emergency situation and had no issues waiting. The guys were very kind, answered all my questions, and did a FANTASTIC job cleaning up the yard after it was trenched. Great job!!! They made our carpet look like new!! They cleaned the carpets in our church sanctuary. It made such a difference. I knew immediately that Van-Go would be the people to clean our carpet. We haven't been in our home long but the carpet had been down for a long time. They were cleaned by another company before we moved in but there were stains left behind. I had tried cleaning them myself to no avail. It was wonderful to see the great job Van-Go did of getting rid of the stains!

One of my bucket list items after retirement was to turn my master bathroom into an en suite spa, that will be aging friendly. I had an idea of what I envisioned it to be, but nothing concrete on paper. I kept asking my husband to find a contractor, but to no avail. I begin noticing these trucks going by my house with the logo, "Harbor Point Contracting". I looked them up, walked into their showroom and said, "this is what I want. Can you help me?" The rest is history. Everything thing that I shared with Andy, he made my reality. To say I was very pleased, is an understatement. It is pure professional craftsmanship. The entire bathroom was reworked to the studs to the removal of the defunct jacuzzi, a new shower relocation, a powder room area, new cabinets, floors, lights dual shower heads, oh my! I sit in there now and just marvel. It's almost to nice to use, but oh it is a spa to remember. It was costly, but you get what you pay for, one way or the other. The staff was very nice and we became like family (mainly because it took longer than I thought) That may have been my only concern. They cleaned up after themselves everyday. You never knew they were there. Thank you Andy and your wonderful employees for making my dream an en suite reality!!. I will try to upload pictures. I needed a window to be repaired, called several companies and they told me I had replace it. Called Amesco and the owner said to send pictures of the parts needed. Today they came and repaired it. Charged me $100.00 for parts and labor, they saved me the cost of a new window. I would call them before you buy a new window.

They have been extremely flexible during Covid, always masked and have accommodated our social distancing request. And, their stuff works. After neighbor killed a huge black snake, which had been keeping rodents in check, I called And they came out. Two dead ratslater and I haven’t seen any rats in months. It is so nice to find a company that is friendly, knowledgeable, professional and shows up on time. We are thrilled with the work Elks did for us and are so happy we found them. We made an appointment for an estimate, Brian pulled in he driveway at the exact time stated. He looked over and discussed the drainage/flooding issues we were having and made a few suggestions. Before he left we had our estimate. My husband and I discussed it and decided to have our downspouts tied in to the drainage lines also and moved where the drain boxes would be placed. Brian happily came out again, walked through what we wanted and sent an updated estimate. We also had them fill in some low flooding areas all around our yard.The crew that came to do the work was great! They are also professional, friendly and make sure to get the angle of the lines correct. After our first rain a few days later we saw what we thought was a problem. I sent a text to Brian and my phone rang immediately. He was here the very next day with a new pop up head thinking the one that was installed wasn't working correctly. After running the garden hose through the line to test it we figured out that the pop up just wasn't going to work there for that situation which was no fault of theirs. Brian was back the next day with an extention pipe and drain cap and dug the line a few more feet out to the ditch like our other line. He truly wants full satisfaction and everything working properly. We've had several downpours of rain and for the first time in decades we don't have any flooding issues or standing water. Our yard drains perfectly! We absolutely recommend them to everyone and have several neighbors that will be calling them also. I wish we had done this years ago! Did a great job with some very difficult tree removal near the house. Clean up with great. Very responsive and communicated well with us.
My Dad recently had a number of pine trees removed from his property by Tripp's Tree Service. The team was hard working and professional. Rusty quoted a great price for the job and did everything he promised. All phases of the job - cutting, disposal and clean up - went great. I strongly recommend Tripp's Tree Service if you need trees removed from your property.

I have horrible dental anxiety, this place has made my first visit and every one else between smooth, calm, and reassuring. From the front desk, to the assistants, to the doctors, everybody is so understanding and chill. Dr. Nicole and her assistant Kristin have done ALL of my cleanings and fillings. I’ve had at least 13 filings done with them in the past 2 months. Determined to get my health back on track, the last thing in my treatment plan needed was a tooth pulled and boy was I scared to have anyone else but those two work on my mouth, but today Dr. Adam pulled my Molar and his technique, kindness, and empathy was no different than Dr. Nichole. This is the best dental office I’ve ever experienced. 18284/10 recommend. I love yall, thanks for being awesome?

I had an emergency with a broken tooth , and nobody would take my insurance but Dr kriebal and he also was able to fit me in , lessen my pain immediately and the extract it .. I highly recommend this practice ad to know I have my forever dentist. He was kind , gentle and wonderful bedside manor... made me feel right as ease no anxiety with this practice!! Our family has been using Axelson Chiropractic since 2016. We have received care from Dr. Sees for a year now(two of used a previous chiropractor that moved,) and we could not be more pleased! Today was a sad day as we said goodbye to them. All gave hugs and tears flowed from my eyes. Dr. Sees, we will miss you so very much!! You have helped us tremendously! All I can say is that Dr. Gatlin "cured" a problem that I have been suffering for ~30 years. I have been to other chiropractic offices, so my expectation was temporary relief for a chronic problem. Dr. Gatlin made some very subtle adjustments, and I have been basically symptom free (sciatic pain, burning, numbness, right shoulder muscular spam, neck pain) since then. We discussed my immediate relief and adjusted the treatment plan based on my progress in order to keep my well-being at its best. I show up for my appointments on time and the staff is always polite. I have never waited more than a few minutes to go to the exam room or to be seen by Dr. Gatlin. Thank you Dr. Gatlin and team!
I became a patient at Axelrod Chiropractic after 3 years of searching for nerve pain relief from a car accident which crushed my ankle. I have taken anti-seizure medications, hot and cold therapy and have had a nerve stimulator implainted in my back. None of these therapies were as successful as the treatment from the the Axelrod Chiropractic Clinic. I am able to wear shoes and socks and to tolerate putting my foot under the covers when I go to bed. The medical treatment has been life altering, but more importantly is the professional and courteous treatment. The people who serve patients in this clinic are friendly, courteous and welcoming. Dr. Seese listens and discusses treatment with me during each visit. She even made sure that I was able to receive treatment on a weekly basis by changing her schedule to accommodate my needs I can only add that I truly wish I had sought out chiropractic services earlier in my treatment and I am truly grateful to my friends who recommended this practice to me.
The chiropractor was very knowledgeable and professional. He used light and a plunger to help my back. I prefer manual manipulation to release pain and adjustment. But that's my preference and the doctor was excellent.

My session with Janell was fabulous. She went after some peskie knots with just the right amount of pressure AND she showed me how to use a tennis ball to alleviate tension in between sessions. Loved it!
I began my experience with Balanced Hands & Bodywork, LLC by Googling several massage and spa providers in New Bern NC. After many were booked for the weekend of the 1st, I actually got a call back from Michelle who also informed me they were booked. However, after I explained my wife and I were in town for a marriage retreat and I wanted to do something special for her, she squeezed us in. She had me hooked! When we arrived things got even better. We were greeted by Heather upon entering and being immediately relaxed and calmed by the ambiance and aromatherapy. She was so pleasant and inviting and knowledgeable. We sat in the relaxation room for a few minutes and Heather returned with Casey. Equally kind and genuine, she informed us that she had reviewed our intake information and assured us we would be pleased with our services. Heather even offered to give us the 45 minute service knowing it would be tight and may back them up for the day. I'm a barber so I was really impressed by this gesture. We declined. I wish we had gotten the 45 minutes! Long story short, we were Wowed and Enamored and Blown away by the levels of Professionalism and Genuine Connection from All 3 Beautiful Spirits we encountered at Balanced Hands! The Services were A1. We plan to make a monthly trip for Massages. Thank you Michelle Heather and Casey.
The massage therapist listened to my needs regarding my stiff neck/shoulder pain and addressed them very well. I walked out with less pain and I could turn my head further to the side than when I arrived. I'll probably go back again in a week or so. It was a very nice experience.

She uses several healing modalities simultaneously including sound bowls, crystal healing, massage, body talk, reiki and more. She’s really a beautiful soul who makes our community better by being here.She also has an Airbnb in the back part of her home where her hospitality is a sincere gift.
Amazing experience! We made a day drip to New Bern just to see Lynn. Made it a group trip. Lynn spent time getting to know each of our needs. Never felt rushed from one session to next. Lynn was excellent at explaining what cranialsacral therapy is. Lynn is very gifted, and present throughout the session. The affect for me was definitely noticeable. And it was noticeable for days after. We traveled a few hours to get there and I will do it again for sure. I struggle with spine and autoimmune issues. This would be an important part of a care plan for anyone struggling with chronic pain. If you are not close consider making a trip. It's definitely worth it. Lynn is a blessing.
