Pet Boarding Training near Mebane picked by BestProsInTown

“Our Misu girl received so much love while she was here over the holidays! From the beginning when we first met Crystal and Ms. Doreen, we could tell they were real cat ladies. We just moved into Durham a few months ago and didn’t realize most owners had their cats reserved 3-4 months in advance before the holidays for the usual tall rooms. My husband and I were desperate due to flight plans (& we wanted a cat only kennel) and they squeezed our 9 month kitten into their lobby 1 month before. They made her (and us) feel such a VIC (very important cat)/VIP, we were so grateful she ended up as being their last minute office cat for the 7 days we were gone. They were very meticulous to make sure the doors were locked if she was outside of her kennel. Misu girl was so spoiled, received so many head pets (with bonus daily pics and/or videos), and we absolutely would not hesitate to bring her back to the Laid Back Cat next time we need to go out of town. They really treat your cat as if it was their own family member. Oh yeah, she loves the fuzzy white ball they gifted her for Christmas! THANK YOU!! /// FYI Crystal & Ms. Doreen do live on a separate building on the same property (which is awesome) & calling is the best mode of communication if you need to reach them.“

Pampered Pets Pet Boarding Training

“Pampered Pets was highly recommended from a friend of mine for our boarding facility needs. Our dog is a 70 lb blue nose 5-1/2 yr old female Pittie who had not been boarded since 4 yrs ago, maybe longer. Although awesome with kids and adults, she is hit or miss and could be temperamental with other dogs, regardless of breed.

I first contacted Robin over the phone about 3 weeks before moving forward and had a great conversation with her about the facility and how her and Lisa are well established there, but more importantly, they know what they’re doing and how to work with specific breeds. Roxi is not the type of dog that you’d want to get someone off of Rover or similar to handle, especially if they lack the experience. Fast forward to a few days before we were flying out for our trip to meet Robin in person and get a feel of things. I knew within the first few minutes that I had made a great choice in choosing them. From outside, you can see the building and kennels have been there a while, but never judge a book by its cover. It doesn’t mean it has a rundown appearance btw, just means they aren’t that “bougie hoity toity” boarding facility that has outrageous rates to cover the cost of excessive decor, etc. They don’t have a fancy website either, so let me say they are well established and know what they’re doing, while keeping your pet’s best interest at heart!

Drop off day: Brought Roxi there early morning and was greeted by Lisa. Roxi took to her immediately! Another positive sign. Lisa gave me a quick bio on her background and her experience. Again, beyond impressed like I was with Robin. They let me bring Roxi’s bed, favorite pillow, toy, and frozen marrow soup bones for her after dinner treat. Pampered Pets provides morning and afternoon meals using a very high quality dry food from Fromm Family Farms. The food is included in the daily rate of only $27 bucks per day. Those rates are unheard of these days and I felt compelled to donate a few bucks towards their food, etc. I actually plan on donating some more $$ when I get my next paycheck!

Pick up day: Just incredible and to see Roxi so excited made my heart sing. Honestly, she may have wanted to stay and hang out some with her new pals Memphis and Charlie! ?

Pros: Very experienced staff who you can easily trust. Clean and well kept boarding facility that is inspected by the department of agriculture yearly, the hometown feel of a local and respected boarding facility, and too much more for me to type!!! It’s hard for me to trust just anyone with Roxi and I immediately said- this is my permanent go to from now on.

Cons: Well, there aren’t any and I am being unbiased.“
