“I got my first tattoo, Aug. 29 2024. I spoke with Craig numerous times before. Each time, he was patient and informative. I came into this with all the knowledge I needed to make a very informed decision. I came in with an idea. Craig worked with me to hash out all of the fine details. He then got to work. The worst part of the entire process was my butt got sore from sitting. The tattoo was almost completely painless. The final result completely overwhelmed me. We took breaks as we went along, and I saw it coming together but was not fully prepared for the final piece of artwork Craig put on my arm. I think it concerned him for a second because it teared up and about ugly cried. The experience was so much more than I expected, and Craig was the reason for how great it turned out. It is an awesome qork of art that he put on my arm. Not just a tattoo but a work of art. I am truly happy with the result and the entire experience. I'm already thinking of my next design and it will be done by no one else but Craig at Relentless Ink.

I woke up this morning and the bandage had come loose over part of it. I freaked out a bit, and contacted them. They explained the bandages can come loose early due to oils in my skin or being rubbed off like in my sleep. They advised me to go ahead with the after care instructions. I cleaned it and put the after care lotion on it and then stood and looked at it in the mirror, again overwhelmed at the work he did.

Cleanliness: Craig explained the cleanliness process. He cleaned my arm fully before starting. He explained that he used new needles fresh from. A sterilized package. While explaining, he dropped a package on the floor. He opened it and put them in the sharps container. Having the package touch the floor would have possibly contaminated the others had he set it on the work tray, so he disposed of them. Everything was cleaned better than I would have thought was necessary. So, I was more than comfortable with the process.“

“After 13 years since my 1st tattoo, I trusted Lost Sheep with #2. I worked a lot with Rocky to get me scheduled and thinking through designs. He was incredibly patient, kind and accommodating. He set me and my wife up with John to do our work.

Communication with John was great. He was eager to get to work on my idea. I sent him a lot of images and texts to try and explain what I knew I wanted but couldn't quite wrap my brain around. John sketched it up the day of and took great care in doing so. I gave him freedom to creatively interpret my idea as an artist and he came up with something perfect. He was happy to make some edits to the sketch before starting and even added in some elements to represent my wife and kids.

The actual tattoo process (7 hour session) was excellent. The shop was clean, friendly and appealing. They even offered snacks and drinks since I was in for the long haul. John was friendly and easy to talk to. I never felt rushed or pressured. John delivered super clean, thin lines and superb shading with no errors. He took great care in cleaning up the finished product, wrapping it and talking me through care and next steps.

The end result was everything I ever hoped for: Philbo Baggins' Hobbit Hole for me, a Hobbit at heart, who really just wants to stay home with the people I love enjoying good food and drink, all the while up for a little adventure. John's interpretation was incredible and the details were perfect. He designed the tattoo where the door was cracked open and you could see elements inside of the home which he then shaded over to add great depth. He truly went above and beyond and I will be back. Genuinely amazing work. 10/10 would DEF recommend John and co. at Lost Sheep!
